Chapter 31: Ten-Thirty.

The air flew cosily along the side as Zev and his friend walked the Campus grounds to reach the facility in time for their first class with the Professor, this morning.

Yesterday, had been a lot to take in for Kaiden who was now pretty much beside his friend in their walk to the conference hall. But after his talk with Larry over Vanessa when they arrived, he'd quickly jumped up the stairs to get to his bedroom. He reached his quality ambience, and decided on calling a truce with Zev over Jake's issue.

''Hello..'' His voice whispered coolly into the reciever. Zev had picked up the call and he could very well hear him breathing, but he just wouldn't speak. Kaiden loathed how brutal his silent treatment of him could be at times (—like this) but he quickly shoved his friend's misbehavior at the back of his mind and decided to speak out instead.

''Zev? Are you there—'' He dragged his word on purpose.
