Chapter 26: Chapter 22)Preparation
[Buuum. Imagine that I flew into your door with my foot and brought today's chapter. To be honest, I'm in a pretty good mood and I wanted to do a double issue today. But unexpected plans have appeared and I need to deal with them. I 'm going to celebrate my exams ... You can't blame me, I passed them perfectly and my friends and I decided to celebrate it, so today is one chapter. After a great lunch, Daphne and I went to the library. I wanted to know exactly what herbs and resources I could get in the forest. Since I'm going there, I want to get the maximum profit for this trip.
"Since you wanted to go to the library with me, then help me find all the information about the various magical creatures living in the dark forest and their hunting and living areas. "I say to Daphne , which is series with me
"So , we're going to get a few herbs in the woods ?" Daphne asked me
"If we were going to break a few herbs I would not ask you to learn about the animals in the forest , because for such a simple task ,we could collect the grass on the edge. It's safe on the outskirts of the forest and we won't even meet harmless small animals," I say with some insistence
"Great, I hope we don't go there, just the two of us. Otherwise, I'm going to dissuade you from feeding magical creatures with your body." she tells me with irritation in her voice.
When we get to the library, we go to the magical creatures section. I turn off at the corner to the section all about magical herbs.
"You will learn about animals, I will learn about herbs that we can collect in our little adventure."I said to Daphne , who looked at me questioningly
"Then together we planned our little hike, and those whom we invited with us,"Daphne said with a thoughtful look
"Quickly realized sister , however , we need to plan a meticulous plan , not to disturb the teachers and especially other important pureblood families," I say proudly looking at his sister
"Hmm, so we want to get something illegal and in order to avoid unnecessary problems, we need to choose people with whom we can easily negotiate and at the same time intimidate them with the name of our family so that they keep the secret." she said , choosing books to read
"But , why complicate it so much ? I could use mind magic to block their memory of this event," Daphne asked me with undisguised curiosity
"Of course, we use mind magic, but not to block their memories, but to fade them out. Simple blocking is too dangerous , firstly they have a strong occlumency . Secondly, teachers can start investigations due to blocking the memory of students. Therefore , you use a spell to make their memory foggy and a spell that will accelerate their memory loss about this event , " I said , flipping through a book about valuable plants and where to get them
For the record, I used a silent spell that silences our words so that no one can overhear them. Of course, the librarian noticed the ripples of magical energy, but since nothing had changed, she turned a blind eye to it.
"Wow, it won't be easy, I'll have to use my magic wand and the spell will be easy to spot. " says Daphne with irritation and reluctance
"Don't worry, we are going to a dangerous place and our magic wands will definitely go with us, also we are only collecting resources and herbs, so our magical energy will not be used and I will cover your spell so that they won't notice anything," I said to calm and reassure Daphne
We didn't just go through the ritual at an early age to lose all progress in using spells without a wand. Magic wands are a crutch that , over time , can deprive a wizard of conjuring without them .
Of course, wizards need additional magical tools that will make him stronger, but the individual strength of the wizard is still important. Therefore, after buying our magic wands, I made 2 fake ones that we use in everyday time and during training.
Of course, our real magic wands are always there, because if something dangerous happens to our lives, we need to make the most of all the means available to us. Also during our training , I noticed that when pronouncing a spell , I or Daphne will release opposite magical frequencies , then we can use the spell unnoticed from everyone .
Of course , this can hide only one spell at a time , and if I 'm careless , I can cancel the spell that Daphne says , which can bring negative consequences . Also during this process, I myself will not be able to cast a single spell , which leads us to a situation where either I am conjuring , and Daphne just stands and covers my spell, or Daphne is conjuring and I cover her.
This can be dangerous because if we are noticed before we finish, then we are essentially unarmed and even a simple spell can neutralize us. Therefore , we use this technique very rarely , but it is just right for such covert operations .
"It would be quite risky and I could ruin it if I use , these spells on multiple goals at once," said Daphne , looking at me with concern
"Don't worry , you're more talented than me in magic of the mind and you are always trained and did not give pride to stop your progress," I said Daphne to support her and betray her confidence
Of course , I didn 't tell her that if she made a mistake , a couple of people would fall into a coma for an indefinite period and after waking up they would forget the last couple of years of their lives . It sounds cruel, but I can't let Daphne and our parents have problems because of my plan.
I have never said that I am a saint , and although for my purposes I will not kill innocents , this does not mean that I will hesitate in order to protect myself and my family
With these gloomy thoughts, we continued to read books and prepare for our little journey. I hope everything goes as planned.
