Chapter 27: White Cat
Mu Chen saw Yue Ling breakthrough to the next realm without any difficulties.
"Xiu, watch over her. I want to discuss something with Tang Li and Zhao Feng." Mu Chen said to Xiu to watch over Yue Ling and Xiu nodded her head in approval.
Mu Chen left the place and went outside to meet with Zhao Feng and Tang Li.
There he saw a small white cat standing before Zhao Feng. The cat's face looked like it was ready to pounce on Zhao Feng.
Mu Chen went near them. The cat saw Mu Chen walking in their direction.
The cat planned something in his mind and started to run towards Mu Chen and pounced at him.
Mu Chen got off guard because the cat suddenly pounced on him. He caught the cat curiously.
"Hey, cat, why are you pouncing on me now?."
Cat?!
The cat got even more angry and shouted at Mu Chen "who is the cat?"
"I am not a cat!!"
"I am the lord beast! Do you know how many people will tremble at this lord's single gaze."
The cat was shouting many words. Mu Chen was baffled, because the cat was talking to him. He never saw a talking cat before.
Mu Chen pointed at the cat and stated, "I have never seen a talking cat before. You are the first one."
"You… I am not a cat!!!" The cat used his paw and started to scratch Mu Chen's face.
"Stupid cat, because of you we blocked in this world. Tell me how I should punish you."
Zhao Feng's threatening words resounded loudly.
The cat and Mu Chen stopped talking and they looked at Zhao Feng who was sitting on the grass field.
She looked like a goddess. Even though she was sitting simply, it also looked amazing to Mu Chen's eyes.
With him lost in his thoughts while seeing Zhao Feng's face. Mu Chen felt a threatening gaze locked at him.
When he saw Zhao Feng was looking at him with fierce eyes. He came back to his senses.
Mu Chen coughed lightly and averted his gaze from Zhao Feng to the cat who was resting in Mu Chen's arms.
"Hehe, how are you doing in this place Feng?" Mu Chen asked Zhao Feng.
Zhao Feng raised his brows at Mu Chen who was calling her intimately.
Mu Chen didn't mind her and started to talk about the cat.
"What about this cat?" "Where did this come from?"
Don't get fooled by this stupid cat appearance. This stupid cat lost his powers because of his stupidity and went back to its infant appearance."
"Because of its stupidity, me and Tang Li were locked in that formation." anger was visible in Zhao Feng's face while talking about that matter.
"It's not my fault and most importantly I am not a stupid cat!" The cat stated clearly.
"Okay okay, you are not a stupid cat." Mu Chen assured him, while caressing his smooth hair.
Mu Chen realized something and asked suddenly "where are the two beats?"
Zhao Feng said "Not two, Only one."
"Huh?" Mu Chen clearly knew he had saved two beasts while saving Zhao Feng and Tang Li.
"This cat is the beast you are talking about. He used some ancient technique without knowing clearly and we got trapped in that formation. And he changed his appearance and used clone technique."
Zhao Feng explained about what happened before and how they got trapped in that formation to Mu Chen.
Mu Chen understands about what happened to them earlier. He saw the cat who was in his arms comfortably and he wondered what kind of special species this cat is.
"Hey, you save this lord from this monster."
The cat ordered Mu Chen.
Mu Chen didn't know whether to laugh or cry because of this cat ordering him around like he was an emperor.
Mu Chen asked " Hey cat, who are you calling a monster here?"
The cat pointed his claws at Zhao Feng.
Mu Chen said "My wife looks very beautiful and elegant. Why are you calling her monster?"
Zhao Feng asked him, "Glib tongue. And, Who is your wife? Why are you saying that?"
"Of course I will say that. You are my Mu Chen's wife." Mu Chen stated proudly.
"Whatttt!!!?" The cat got off guard when he listened to their conversation when Mu Chen addressed Zhao Feng as his wife.
"What happened to you cat? Why are you shouting like this?" Mu Chen asked the cat who had shouted before.
"Why are you addressing her as your wife? Did this happen while I was knocked out?"
The cat was bombarded with several questions.
Mu Chen nodded his head. He saw the baffled expression on the cat's face and he didn't know why he was like this either.
"Hey, what's your expression?" Mu Chen questioned the cat.
The cat mumbled in a sad voice "How did this happen? I cannot believe what I am hearing."
Mu Chen asked the cat curiously "Hey cat, why are you sad about this." Mu Chen pondered for a moment and realized something and asked the cat sternly "Cat, don't tell me you are sad because she became my wife."
The cat got confused hearing Mu Chen's question. "Huh?"
Mu Chen continued " You got sad because you liked my wife and now you realize that you have no chance because she is my wife now. I will beat you up if you have any bad intentions towards her."
The cat vomited a mouthful of blood after hearing Mu Chen's explanation. Even Zhao was baffled because of Mu Chen.
The cat knocked Mu Chen's head and said "You fool, do I look like I wanted to choose a death wish? Where the hell did you think of these kinds of reasons?"
"Then why are you like this? Anybody will think like me in this situation." Mu Chen retorded.
Zhao Feng shook her head while getting stuck between these two worthless arguments.
