Chapter 25: Law and love

"... it's not like I don't like law. It's fascinating. I just don't see myself in a courtroom or doing anything related to law, you know? I feel like there's something else I'm made for. I haven't just discovered it yet. That's why I'm studying law till I figure it out." I nodded my head sagely.

She sighed and began engulfing another slice of pizza.

"I don't know if I'm made to be a doctor but I just want to do it. I don't think I'm great at anything other than this.

"I see people everywhere with different talents and I feel so left out because all I think I'm good at is pottery and academics. I don't even feel I'm too good at those. I get so confused all the time and my brain just gets filled up with negative thoughts," I sighed.

Continuing, I spoke.

"But I'll be fine. I think I will be fine. I–I hope so."

My voice breaking, I did some breathing exercises to hold in the tears wanting to stream out.
