Naruto jumped to dodge a barrage of shurikens, he landed in the middle of the lake and began looking around for signs of his enemy
Suddenly, the water behind him exploded into a wave that packed quite a punch
Turning his hand backward, he created a one-handed Rasengan and destroyed the wave
during this one year, Hiruzen proved to be quite a ruthless teacher to Naruto, but the fruits of that showed day after day, especially now that no demon fox was messing with his progress, you can say Naruto is as powerful as a jonin already
but power by itself means nothing if it is not at an unreachable level, so Naruto is still stuck at his chunnin rank, and yes, team 7 got promoted... I mean, that happens when the three are training under 3 hokages, no? (albeit Kakashi isn't one yet)
Naruto closed his eyes and felt the chakra around him, sensing talent is rare, and Hiruzen invested quite a lot of time in making sure Naruto used his potential
'Behind? no, that's a normal clone... a distraction
one shadow clone coming from the right, but Jiji is nowhere to be seen...' Naruto thought as he leaned back to avoid a punch from Hiruzen's shadow clone
"You will have to do better than that Jiji, or else I will surpass you" Naruto smirked, if there is something Hiruzen took a liking to, was to rile Naruto up and used his openings against him
a lesson Naruto took to heart, very much so, might I add
Hiruzen's shadow clone didn't waste chakra on idle talk, so it took the bo staff from his back and swiped it at Naruto, who smirked
*poof*
*TAK*
The sound of wood colliding with wood echoed through the place as a bo staff appeared in Naruto's hands, a little seal mark appearing on the back of his right hand
*Pak Pak Pak*
Naruto twirled around making constant attacks from stabs to swings at Hiruzen's shadow clone, who only deflected them as that was the most energy-efficient method
but suddenly, Naruto broke the rhythm and jumped back, creating distance between him and the clone
*Swooosh*
Violent winds gathered on the staff on Naruto's hands, and the clone stopped attacking him for a second as he was concentrating
"Wind Style: Weapon coat" Naruto said as he jumped at the clone with everything he had
the clone readied itself but
"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU" Naruto screamed as two more Narutos appeared on each of his sides
this time, the attacks of every Naruto got progressively faster, sharper and cut through the clone's bo staff like it wasn't even there, making it dodge instead
*Splash*
Another Naruto jumped from the water behind the clone with a Rasengan in his hands
"Naruto uzumaki style: Swimming like a fish improvised jutsu!" The clone screamed as it slammed the Rasengan on the clone
*Poof*
The clone dissipated, and so did Naruto's clones
Hiruzen flickered besides Naruto who jumped back and assumed a fighting instance
"Good job Naruto, but I think you need to rest a bit now" Hiruzen had a big smile on his face
the reason? the wind coating jutsu Naruto used before, was his creation
he made it for Asuma when he began to use his chakra metal knuckles, but the brat was too prideful to learn something that his father made to him... such a childish behavior will cost his life someday... oh, wait
"I can still fight Jiji, I am going to beat you today! believe it!" Naruto said with conviction, but
"You can barely keep the staff coat up, don't let this little progress get to your head"
In perfect timing, as soon as Hiruzen said that Naruto's staff lost ita wind coat, proving Hiruzen was right
but Naruto was still walking on the water, proving that it wasn't a chakra deficiency problem, but focus

'What a weird sound for a hit on the head...
that's not important... will my wallet survive, that's the real question...' Hiruzen thought in distress

The scene just cut, but an intense fight was already going on, Sasuke deflected a shuriken with his sword, but the shuriken exploded shortly after

Sasuke threw his sword, covered in lightning at the ground, and it went through Kakashi, who turned into a mess of lightning as well

But Sasuke expected that, he has been training with Kakashi for a year, and such tactics are well known to him... kind of
he saw a light by his left side, and saw a massive fireball coming his way
'Counter with a fireball? no time for seals..,
dodge? I'm midair, that's not gonna happen..,' He brainstormed possible solutions, but only one seemed feasible right now
"Chidori..." He said, bringing his hands above his head
"...Spear!" As he swiped them down, an unstable blade of lightning appeared, cutting the fireball
but before Sasuke could rejoice finally being able to use the jutsu he came up with, he had to dodge a volley of kunais
*Sssssss*
He saw the paper bombs tied to some of the kunais lit up, about to explode
Body flicker
He flickered to a nearby tree, his feet barely hit the ground, so he dodged that by just a little
"Don't move" Kakashi appeared behind Sasuke, a kunai on his neck
I think I have seen this somewhere before Kakashi... stop copying Minato! oh wait... copy ninja... right
"Sigh... I lost" Sasuke said in an annoyed tone
"Actually, you succeed in quite a bit today, your senses seem to be sharper, you managed to use that lightning spear jutsu that is most likely an original...
and most of your decisions were spot on... the only glaring mistake is that after you flickered, you kept still for too long, ao I could get behind you easily" Kakashi explained as if it was simple

"So, what are you going to do now? up to some ramen?" Kakashi asked with an eye smile, totally not having planned this out with Hiruzen... yep, totally...
"...I guess" Sasuke was a bit unhappy with his progress, he felt it was a bit slower because he spend too much time on his new jutsu, more than he needed he felt
'It's like I am missing something... but what?' He mused...

Hinata's attacks got blocked one by one, albeit her single Byakugan gave her an advantage on precision, how could she compare to a medic-nin, and one of Tsunade's level as well... that's... durable, as Crystal_CopyCat would say
But as Tsunade was fighting Hinata, she saw the scenario distort around her

and if you ask why, both Hinata and Luna said they wanted to be combat medics, kind of, so they needed fighting training as well... it's totally not for Tsunade to let some steam off... totally
Luna's hands turned into sharp claws, as she rushed at Tsunade, but Hinata was not idle as well, she flanked Tsunade and attacked with her gentle palm
Vacuum palm!
She know that the normal tenketsu blocking of the gentle fist was useless against Tsunade, who had near-perfect control and could defend them easily
at least for now it was useless...
One hot after the other, she made Tsunade counter in with only one hand, as she was using the other to keep Luna in place, albeit with difficulty as she was not a taijutsu specialist after all
timing it right, Tsunade let one opening to Luna on purpose, and as soon as she was about to be hit, she twirled in place, making Luna's claws hit Hinata's vacuum palm, giving both some bruises
"SeEms lIke I havE to deal with thIs" Luna said as her voice got unstable, that's the normal Luna dividing control with her other side
Chakra scalpel
Each of the claws of Luna's hands got a layer of chakra enveloping them, not as perfect as it was possible, but keeping 10 scalpels on at the same time was not an easy task, Luna could barely do it, and her clan had an inherently good chakra control
Tsunade smirked as she saw this, she flickered but instead of attacking Luna as anyone would expect, she appeared behind Hinata instead
Seeing this with her Byakugan, Hinata knew she couldn't dodge, nor block it normally, so she spinned
Hakkeshou kaiten
a dome of rotating chakra surrounded Hinata, the ultimate defense of the Hyuga main family...
but, who is Tsunade again? she is the woman who cracked MADARA'S SUSANOO with a punch, so...

In the real world, Hinata was using her mystic palm jutsu to heal the bruises on her skin that she got on this fight, as Luna was just there unconscious
Luna focused more on learning the chakra scalpel to have a way to defend herself in close combat, she also learned some other minor stuff, but that's not relevant right now
Hinata on the other hand, learned the healing jutsus one after the other, just switching to the attacking ones recently, and by that, you can see their priorities
Tsunade dusted her hands as she said with a bright smile
"Hiruzen sensei decided that today we should have a team meeting, so he called Kurenai and Kakashi, let's go"
Hinata looked at the unconscious Luna and sighed, yep... not to let steam out at all...
