Chapter 22: into the university
-Eris POV-
it's been almost three months since we left for the Magic University, and the travels have been... okay?
Elinalise was acting weird, she was like a zombie by the last month of the travels, When I asked Alex about it, it turned out that it was because of a curse.
and when I asked him what the curse was, he didn't answer, just looked away with a slight dusting of pink on his cheeks.
but when we stopped by a village, she ran off and came back the next morning looking as good as new... weird.
The dragon also grew, but it's still small enough to remain on Alexes head, it's just too cute, with his big eyes and the cute sounds it makes it's really hard not to squish it.
a few days later, we have reached the place... and now I have to study, and the teacher won't be Alex... unbelievable.
-3rd POV-
they were In front of the gate, and Alex just released a sigh, his memory was faulty, it has been almost fourteen years, he doesn't remember anything but the major events.
and now, everything was going to be useless, because he's going to take the Table of plans he didn't make and flip it upside down.
"let's go inside, we have to get accepted first".
Said Alex, taking the first step inside the campus, and under the watch of the students, they walked inside the big building until they realized they had no idea where the principal was.
so they asked around and got the directions, and started heading to the room.
a few minutes later, the four of them were sitting in front of the principal.
"so did you receive the recommendation letter?".
asked the plumpy ma, clearing some sweat from his forehead.
"..."

"... there was a letter?".

"These uniforms are uncomfortable".
commented Alex, pulling on his collar, and adjusting his sword.
"Gwee".
He scratched Ace's cheek, ignoring the looks of amazement of other students, he had a Test to get to, a teacher was going to test him and Eris while Rudeus would be tested by nother student who could silent cast.
(so she's here, that's good).
he saw Eris running over to him, wearing the girl's uniform, since she gained more experience she started to let her hair grow, and now, it was a little longer than her shoulders.
"Alex! you ready?".
she asked, receiving a look that said " do you know who you're talking to? I can do anything".
they walked to the room that contained a few magic circles on the floor, and some of them had people using spells inside.
walking over to his brother who was still wearing his tattered coat.
"all right, you three will be tested in these magic circles, they are healing circles, so if someone gets hurt they get healed, so no need to worry about injuries".
explained one of the teachers and demonstrated by cutting his hand and letting it heal.
Rudeus stepped closer to get a better look, but that took a little too long and the test started with him.
poor guy.
as the Teacher was calling someone over, Alex decided to look around, in hopes of seeing the undercover Elf, and as fate would have it, she was testing Rudeus... and her hair was white now, that was neat, she was wearing glasses, white uniform, black boots and a green coat of some sort over her attire.
all his hope of him realizing who it was disappeared when he bent ninety degrees and introduced himself in a loud voice.
he and Eris watched as Rudeus disturbed his- her- magic and used a chantless Frozen field to freeze his opponent's feet.
the fight ended fast, leaving an amazing audience and a stupified bodyguard.
(so much for a trump card, using it the first chance he gets).
thought Alex, facepalming internally at his brother's stupidity.

"So there's a Dorm, single rooms, and Male and Female sections".
said Rudeus, walking alongside Alex, they had separated from Eris who went to explore the Girl's side of the Dorms.
before he checked his room, he decided to give Rudeus good advice.
"don't walk on the Girl's side of the dorms after sundown".
leaving a confused brother behind he walked inside the big Dorm building that that came in front of.
there were rooms aligned, numbers on the doors and he asked for a specific room.
(sixty-one... sixty-two... sixty-three... ah there down the hall, room sixty-nine, perfect!).
walking inside there were basic living necessities, a bed, a table, a chair, and a cabinet.
(I need to buy a damn house).
taking off his bag, he started unpacking his clothes, that's the only thing that was in there, he could make water with magic and the cups as well.
since he had nothing to do, Alex decided to visit the library to get some formation on summoning magic.
the walk there was rather interesting... for the onlookers. they got to see a strange creature on top of their fellow student's heads, while Ace was oblivious and Alex was a little annoyed.
when he reached the Library, he passed the guard and went inside, only to see Rudeus with the person he Dest- I mean Defeated earlier in the day, they were talking while motioning to something written in a book.
(... Dude you dumb? Even I can see who she is, hell if Eris knew Sylphie she would have figured it out).
shaking his head at his brother's stupidity, Alex decided to talk to their long-lost Elf in private later.
