Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Meet the Terrors?

Ok so far everything has been a major cluster fuck of bad things happening in that village but the dead bodies of the soldiers and goodbye to Bill nye the Science Guy took care of the plot of the story.
But reading the map according to the direction of where I'm going, I should be somewhere near my destination in Toushi Town. Looking above from the sky I can see the town in sight.
From the looks of things though it looks very similar to the one in Central Empire Capital except for the fact that it has a lot of poor and starving people inside the place. The weak auras from that place I can feel using my [Observation Haki].
Making sure I move around to a secluded place I managed to place myself on the ground as the wind below me managed to subdue as I land.
As I landed, I began to use my [Observation Haki] to search the area to make sure I'm secluded enough…
Fuck…
I guess I wasn't as secluded as I have originally thought I was because I can sense the presence of a few abnormally strong bugs. While I have felt the presence of a few Danger Beast before though the bugs however gave him a different vibe of danger.
*Brr*
Quickly using the fire he generated easily killed off the bugs as he began to sense a few people observing him at a distance as he grew annoyed by them watching. Fortunately, though I have my mask on as they couldn't see my face.
But then I grinned as an idea came to my head as he began to place his hand on the ground as I spoke to the people spying on me, "Hey fools don't you know the most beautiful form of art… is an… EXPLOSION!"
*BOOM*
I had to move quickly using the explosion that I caused as a smokescreen to move away from the people watching me.
Quickly dashing through getting away from the people who were spying on me I felt that no one was currently watching me as I manage to slow my pacing down and control my body functions to regulate to normal again.
Taking my time to enter Toushi Town I finally found the place to stay for the night as I went ahead and hurry to an inn I will be sleeping for a bit. As of right now, I booked it passing few straight days to come here after that Tensui Village fiasco.
Ugh…
From how everyone reacted there I guess they didn't expect it was that easy, but I guess Izou was strong enough that he could've damaged that General that badly in a fight. But then again, they are honor-bound meatheads so that is something to expect.
Still, though what am I going to do with the remaining five of the Group of Terror though?
It's not like they could live freely originally because I made sure to make some fake dead bodies of anyone nearby for it to complete. I did mention I would help them, but the question is how exactly because I pretty much burned that bridge killing Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Maybe I should meet with them so that I can hear what they want to do first before I act on anything.
Finding myself an inn for the next few days I already paid for it in advance as I began to go upstairs as I made sure to lock my window to ensure that no one peeks inside. No need for Gozuki's surprise jump scares me like that poor fella.
Switching into my disguise first as I don't want them to figure that out, I began to open my [Shambhala] to enter inside the separate space to see what the kids are doing…

Once I enter inside the separate space, I can see the five of them are clearly lying there but I first used my [Observation Haki] to give me a notification if they were conscious or alive… and yup they are alive.
Tapping my foot, I have little to no patience with them at the moment as I began to talk to them harshly about their situation, "Sigh… you four do know you can stop faking already? I already know what you plan to do as you can't beat the inevitable."
Seeing as they are still acting, I sigh at this as I bring out my ultimate weapon on one of them…
Using [Shambhala] to activate [Pocket] I began to reach out and get those Danger Beast cookies I got from the Empire so long ago at Central Region along with some fresh raw meat on the bone.
Noticing a flinch on Kurome I smiled knowing their personality fully well is similar to Akame.
*Brr*
Generating the fire I began to cook the meat until it reached a grease but most certainly delicious brown hue color as the stench of freshly cooked meat was made thus attracting the stench of good food towards their direction.
That was when I began to make an offer with them as I spoke to them calmly with the possible chance of getting their freedom, "Now then if you were to listen to me now and eat in peace, we will discuss the terms of your freedom. And as assassins in training, you guys need to be collecting info might as well as get as much as you can kiddies."
*Swoosh*
That was when Kurome was the first to respond as she took the meat as she said in a deadpan expression, "You have a deal mister scary man."
"KUROME WHAT THE HELL!!!"
Well… that worked too well… but she is her sister alright.

After that point, I already started to cook for them as we decided to play the guessing game as these little shits are bleeding me dry of my meat supply. And by little shits, I solely refer to Kurome eating my shortage of food supplies.
Truly like her sister always fucking fat gluttons but bullshit metabolism to make them skinny.
Most girls would kill to have that type of metabolism in their bodies without much worry about fat.
Sigh… I digress as I might as well think what to do with them exactly as pretty much their teammates and the Empire will think they're dead with the fake bodies. But what to do with them is the next question?
Natala is a young man with short, blond hair and blue eyes. While he was alive, he wore a zipped-up jacket with a belt with several pouches attached to it, as well as regular pants and shoes. He carried his spear-like weapon with him.
Gin is a young girl with silver hair worn in a long ponytail. She wore a sleeveless trench coat with a dark belt, black tights, boots, and gloves.
Womyn is a young girl with dark hair cut in a bob style. She wore a pair of glasses, a white shirt with a vest, a tie, and a long skirt.
Remus is a young girl with long, light-colored hair decorated with a dark hairband. She wore a black shirt with a miniskirt, black tights, and light-colored boots. she also wore a long jacket.
Kurome looks very similar to her sister. She has short, black hair in a twintail style and black eyes. She wears a black sailor uniform and wears a red belt that has a red side skirt cover like Akame's, with long, black socks and black shoes. Her shirt is slightly too short as it doesn't cover her belly button.
Clearing their throats, the first to respond was the pretty boy that looks like an older Kiba as he spoke in a confused tone, "Uh… ok mister masked man so what exactly was your purpose for kidnapping us and somehow… made us feel better if that is the term being used here?"
*Clap*
Clapping my hands together I began to briefly explain what I did to them in as a charismatic persona as possible being completely fake with them, "Yup kiddie! What I did was destroy your body at such a molecular level as well as reconstruct it into a whole new body to pure peak physical fitness to help you recover from your drug abuse and extensive brainwashing! Actually, how are you on that subject anyway?"
At that question I used my [Observation Haki] to check their emotions… they all express a show of rage and distrust in their auras… I guess I give the [Overhaul] quirk too little credit on the job it does.
When the quirk [Overhaul] is used on a person, it can heal any injuries or ailments they once had by reconstructing them to a biologically perfect state. And since they are now better physically it also means mentally as well considering they have their motor functions and nervous system working again means the brainwashing is undone.
The majority of the Group of Terror negative aspects are due to the extensive brainwashing and mental conditioning the Empire had done to them to ensure they continue to be obedient to it their childhoods that were only further strengthened due to their addiction and dependence on the drug doping addiction that would cause them to enter painful spasms and seizures if they do not regularly ingest them.
However, since I used the [Overhaul] quirk on them I removed any negative impurities on them returning them to a biologically perfect state again meaning they have been returned to normal again.
That in return means they are also back to being normal humans again with an actual conscience this could work out for me a lot better than I originally thought. There may be hope for them just yet.
Remembering that in the following the end of the war, Kurome is shown to have been affected by PTSD and deep emotional regret and guilt for her past actions during her time as an assassin due to the effects of her mental conditioning, brainwashing and drug dependence now being removed.
She is shown to be a much demurer and more dependent on others, especially Wave and Akame, to help cope with her newfound empathy, the latter of whom she now genuinely cares for and loves.
Even when the war ended at times, she hallucinates seeing her former corpse dolls and her numerous victims, vengefully approaching her, to which she is immensely remorseful.
But then again that could be a trick after all [Observation Haki] is not an automatic lie detector as I can sense their intents and emotions but not the truth unless I say very specific questions to figure it out.
Anyway, though they all seem to be very hesitant of the answer of what to do as Kurome finally seems to be deiced on something as she asked me, "Hmm… please let me see my sister mister mask man."
*Smack*
One karate chop to her head makes her rub it from the pain as I immediately replied to her in the deadpan tone, "Motion not carried. Access denied. Nope. And most of all no way Jose. Naha. No."
Kurome rubs her head as she began to tear out trying to goat me as I sensed her emotions clear as day as she spoke, "Why won't let you take me to see my sister!"
I quickly replied in a harsh voice to her getting everyone's attention as I spoke, "Simple. You are weak."
That stung the rest of the four as the young woman Gin began to speak first to me in her actual scared tone, "Then-n what exactly do you want from us… you must have had the reason to take us-s and not kill us like the rest-t…"
True I had no obligation to help them I could pretty much take the Teigu and leave them but I didn't want to. So when I had my answer I pretty much left them more confused than anything, "Hmm… because I felt like it. No other reason honestly just because I felt like doing it is all."
"Huh?"
Knew they wouldn't understand my words of understanding filthy casuals. That was when I began to talk to them calmly for them to do next, "So what exactly do you plan on doing now that the Empire thinks your dead with your fake bodies."
*PEW*
"WHAT/NANI!!!"
They spat out some good hot flavored water on the floor when I told them that their dead to the world. Fuck that was a waste of flavor changed water now.
But it looks like they are having a mid-life crisis in front of me sigh… guess I was bound to explain that making dead fakes would be the only way for them to be free… along with a quick face plant surgery if needed.
Besides, I feel like this is going to be a VERY long talk with these four on what they want to do in life now that I took them out of the assassination business.
