Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Even more Guns

When interrogating the members that attacked the Tatsumi group failed the Equalist member was forced to speak everything he knew about their groups to him helping jog some memories to Tatsumi.
The Equalists are an organization of radical revolutionaries, formerly led by Amon, that operate within Republic City.
They oppose the use of bending, which they see as inherently oppressive and inequitable, and seek to equalize society through its elimination using terrorist and tactical methods. Because of this, the Equalist movement was occasionally referred to as the Anti-bending Revolution.
Equalist fighters are known for utilizing chi blocking as a means to counteract bending and its advantages. Adept at using long-range weapons to restrain and immobilize their enemies, the Equalists utilize a selection of tools and equipment, including smoke grenades, electrified gloves, and motorcycles.
The Equalists' most valuable asset was their leader, Amon, who told his followers that the spirits had granted him the ability to remove people's bending abilities.
Amon their leader claimed to have been born on a farm to a family of non-benders, that he was a non-bender himself, and that he had developed strong feelings of hatred and revenge after his parents' supposed murder at the hands of a fire-bender.
He also has the proof of the fire-bending scar as to help his backstory and get sympathy from the people who suffered like him. He also claimed that he was chosen by the spirits to bring balance to the world, as the Avatar had failed in doing so.
The anti-bending movement began recruiting adepts who had been oppressed, wronged, or had otherwise developed a hatred for bending, and the Equalists eventually became a formidable group within Republic City.
Equalists were shown using various means to defeat benders. Equalist members were trained as hand-to-hand fighters and in the art of chi blocking, a key skill in defeating a bender.
Because of their lack of bending capabilities, Equalists typically employed underhanded tactics such as ambush attacks, hit-and-run strikes, and the use of sleeper agents, among others. They also employed fear tactics.
Aside from their fighting skills, the Equalists employed a large range of tools and weapons, such as special suits, smoke grenades, knockout gas, bolas, motorcycles, and airships. The Lieutenant was also shown using a set of electrified kali sticks to electrocute and temporarily subdue opponents.
With the support of Hiroshi Sato, the Equalists began utilizing electrically-charged gloves, which Amon described as the power of a chi blocker in their hand. These are capable of instantly neutralizing any enemy, even a metal-bending police officer, whose metal armor is impervious to traditional chi blocker attacks.
While questioning him Tatsumi raised his eyebrow at this as he question the one as he was interrogating with a frown, "Sato? His you're supplier for these little toys of yours? Explain to me everything about this?"
The Equalist thug laughed a bit but grew fearful as Tatsumi's eyes narrowed making him squeal out some info about the person, "His Hiroshi Sato. Hiroshi Sato is a non-bending industrialist and the founder of Future Industries, whose family lineage extends back to the first Fire Nation colonists. Possibly debated as one of the greatest revolutionists of our era even."
Tatsumi raised his eyes with interest but was soon disappointed when he learned about his connections with the Equalists of their radical behavior of hate.
A brilliant inventor, he designed the revolutionary Satomobile, an idea that caused him to become the captain of industry in his era. He himself to be an Equalist, creating high-tech weaponry to fight against benders, and thanks to his position and support he was definitely going to become one of their most recognizable leaders.
Tatsumi narrowed his eyes at this as he thought to himself in a serious tone as he thinks of Sato being a threat, 'While not a bender, Hiroshi Sato proved himself a dangerous man. With his intellect as his greatest attribute, he considerably helped in the development of the world's technology, having created, almost single-handedly, many remarkable inventions like cars and planes, as well as inventing all the Equalists' weapons, such as the mecha tanks and biplanes… he needs to go.'
Learning more about the mechas he began to explain more what they are capable of making Tatsumi's eyes widen with greed in them as he listens more.
Sato also developed a mechanical suit known as the mecha tank. These are made of platinum, which is immune to metal-bending due to its purity. Mecha tanks use extendable claws, metal cables, and can disperse electricity through these appendages to electrocute enemies. They are also durable.
Tatsumi made a mental note to keep in mind of creating platinum that is immune to metal-bending for their guns later.
Once the interrogation was done with the Equalist thug laughed lightly as he thought he had the last laugh as he talked to them, "Cough… Hahaha… no matter you benders or spirit. The spirit of the Equalist and Amon's words will go on. After all the others are attacking you're home base, you bender bastards."
"Hahaha!!!"
That was when Tatsumi laughed at this shaking his head making everyone listen to him as he laughed at the man as he responds, "Hahaha! Now that my friend is funny. While you would be right… I'm afraid you made small errors in your plans. You failed to take into account the Hero, Sadist, and Huntress."
While they were confused by this Tatsumi dragged them into the car as he spoke to Fancy Shin with a normal attitude, "Yawn~ Now then Fancy Shin let's go to our local banks to pay for Bolin's inconvenience. And add a tip helping me with this little problem."
Fancy Shin smiled at this as he nods and does as he follows suit, "Sure thing, Boss Tat. Fancy Shin gets to live and get rich another day."

"Quick getaway!"
"Where did these bender fucks prepare for this!"
"Amon is trusting us with this task!"
"Quick duck!"
"We have to capture them for that is our cause."
"We would if-"
*BANG*

*Thud*
Before the grunt could reply his comrades got shot down by the bender's guns with Ruby and Kaina firing down using their sniper rifles and Kaina a normal one as Ruby spoke, "Bang. That's 12 on me Kaina I'm leading ahead against these terrorists. I think you might be getting rusty here Lady Nagant."
*Bang*
Snipping another one of the Equalist members down with Kaina reloading another bullet pack as she smirks at Ruby with her tongue sticking out playfully as she replies to her, "Nope. I think you are too arrogant here Rose. I'm still in the lead by 1."
Ruby pouts at this as they were defending their base of command from the sudden attack from the Equalist group but frankly were caught by Ruby and Kaina studying their area and were jumped. Fortunately, their [Aura] activated to defend them and attack.
With the time they got, they acted accordingly and helped defend their base of command with the other benders soon joining the gunfight soon after. With the Equalist only close-range weapons, they were shot down immediately with the basically trained marksmanship but got the job done.
Some of the benders then began to fight as Viper joined in the fight getting rid of the Equalist as he replies using his Water-Bending, "Fucking bastards… taking my men is one thing. Good thing these ladies are here to help or else they would only take the majority of our men. Shame they took Zolt but whatever."
"Take this Bender Fuckers!"
*Swoosh*
*Splat*
Before the surprised attacking bender could attack Viper by ambush but be cut up with Saeko using her weapon and [Silver Chariot] to help defend her as she replied to Viper with some blood on her face, "Hehe. Viper I would suggest you need to take better care of yourself. These Equalist bastards are good at jumping people. Also, like the new water gun from our resident Queen Rose?"
Amusement of his smirk was apparent as he then raised his water gun using his water bending as bullets to pressurize it thanks to Ruby's recommendation as he pointed it at the Equalist coming at them.
*Bang*
*Splash*
A noticeable bullet wound of a ball was made apparent on the body as the Equalist thug lost immediately as Viper views his new revolver water gun with glee and thanks, "Yeah. That little lady is really a frighting but brilliant girl to make this in a few minutes being here in Republic City. And for all Benders? I think Hiroshi Sato has some competition."
Saeko then expressed a confused face but shrugs it as she returns to the fight but not before leaving one piece of advice to Viper with a funny look, "Haha. A funny thought just occurred to me. If these Equalist met Tatsumi what would their expressions be?"
Leaving Viper to think of that question he shivers a bit before giving a small prayer to those poor bastards then returns to the turf war, "Oh those poor bastards if they did. Welp. Nice knowing them now then… time to return to the fight."
*Bang*
Glancing at his new water revolver gun he grins happily at this as he views it happily, "Still though this little beauty is good. All hail Queen Rose baby."
*Bang*

A/N: Wow the first time a Gun is really useful for once. Have to thank Ruby for knowledge of Mechas weapons and inspiring the Benders to create their own weapons while the members swiftly deal with the Equalist thugs with Mecha Guns. Be warned of headshots from snipers.
