*After the three went through the portal*
"Son, why are you still naked?" my mother asked
"Uh!!" I looked down, and I was naked
'Strange, I didn't even notice, or I felt insecure without clothes' I thought to myself, before activating my Dōjutsu and using it to create a cloak
This robe had a style similar to the one worn by the Sage of the 6 Paths. But the difference is that it was black and gold instead of black and white
My parents only saw my Dōjutsu opening, and then a cloak was generated over me, going from illusory to the material. And that was making them more shocked
Everything was leaving them in a state of ecstasy they hadn't expected to be at this time of night, or early morning, as they were now in Egypt.
Anyway, after having something to wear and disabling my Dōjutsu, I looked around where I was
Some kind of temple was what greeted my vision.
Well, I had already seen this place with my Dōjutsu, but I hadn't paid attention to it.
The place was quite luxurious, in an ancient Egyptian style, and with white and gold colors all over the place.
It appeared to be lit by the halberd in the center so it was a little dark as apparently, the halberd didn't have as much energy to expend
I could feel, that the halberd was making a lot of effort to show its value to me
trying to show me your brilliance
But, she was no longer in a position to do that, and I could see that it frustrated her.
'This sentimental perception is quite disconcerting' I thought
Walking slowly and paying attention to every detail of this temple, I got in front of her
My parents were a little far from me, watching everything around them...
Before touching the halberd, I tried looking at its info panel, with my skill;

Well, there was a lot of other information, about how it was structured and things like that
But the question that intrigued me was the fact that I couldn't read the name of the former owner of this weapon.
You see, during all this time that I spent with this power, I absorbed information about many different languages, including ancient and dead languages.
But, the characters I'm seeing in that name don't match any of these languages.
I couldn't get any hints even though I knew the Kryptonian language
"Intriguing," I said out loud
Seeing that I didn't have any kind of curses or problems with the weapon, I reached out my hand and touched it.
And when that happened, a big glow came out of my body towards the gun
Of course, I could have stopped the weapon from draining my energy, but I had no intention of doing that, so I let it, I let it feed
And the more she fed on my energy, the brighter and more beautiful she became
She was healing, using my energy
Well, she didn't get much, before she got totally saturated
But I commend her effort in trying..
'You... You're not the master...' she spoke in my mind 'Are you another one? Another who wants to use my power?' Did she ask, this time angry?
'No, I'm not your master, and neither, I don't want your power, in fact, I could create a better weapon than you if I wanted to' I replied mentally 'But, you called me, and you called mine too attention by doing this… The question is, why are you on such a backward planet? '
'You... Don't you want to use my power? Why? Everyone wants... All those hairless beings like you...' she said, with a little emotion in her voice
'They, for centuries, used me, spent the energy my master left me, to fight their wars... And you... You look like them, but... but... Your power, you look like the master, but... is it more powerful?' she said, and at the end of the sentence, I could feel her insecurity and lack of belief in what she was saying.
'Wait, one thing at a time, calm down. First, answer my question, then talk about your grievances' I said. But I was still intrigued by what she said.
'To calm down? I see... I apologize... Well where do I start?' she asked herself, before starting to speak again 'I remember... vaguely... a few thousand years ago? I think... I'm not sure... Well, a few thousand years ago, I... I... Wait... What really happened?' She was kind of incoherent, but I let her remember and speak for herself without rushing things
I could feel her struggle to remember, so I didn't force her at all
And after a few moments of mumbling to herself, she spoke to me again
'I remember... A few thousand years ago. Me and my master, we were traveling, I don't remember where but, I know he was looking for something in this part of the galaxy.. I don't know why he came to such a desolate place in the galaxy, but he told me I would know when arrived. '
'But, before we could find that something, a devourer found us... And, me and my master, we struggled, for a few years I think... Until my master released me, I don't know why, but he, he let go of me... And I continued, wandering through the stars until I fell on this planet... And then, ever since then, I've been waiting for him.'
'Well, I remember feeling life on this planet, but it wasn't smart, but after I fell, almost all of them died, and then I was alone, for a long time... And then they came, sentient beings, and for a few more years, no one found me, until someone found me... I told him he couldn't touch me, but he didn't listen... I told him not to use my power, but he don't listen to me... And for generations, my power continued to be used by them, these impure beings... I... I couldn't even stop them... Something broke in me that kept me from having control over myself... think it was during the fight? I don't know 'She broke up, now a little depressed? Possibly
'Well I feel sorry for you, humans tend not to listen to the wishes of others' I replied
'Anyway, I get it now, I understand your situation, but I don't think your master will come to get you' I said, trying to be as gentle as possible.
'WHAT ARE YOU…' She tried to scream before I interrupted her 'Calm down, let me explain, later you think about it for yourself'
'You've been here for millions of years, and he hasn't come after you yet, so it's quite likely that either he's lost in space, looking for you, or he's…dead?…' I tried to speak in a way that didn't scare her with the idea
And before she could complain, I momentarily severed our mental connection
' So, there really is life outside the earth in this universe, and apparently the dinosaurs have been wiped out by it, so much information in such crazy conversation. I have to know more about this, and prepare myself, as apparently these devourers are powerful beings. After all, someone with a semi-divine weapon probably died by one of them' I thought, this time alone
After reworking my plans about everything, I rewired my mind
And apparently the Halberd was calmer, considering she didn't yell at me
'You're probably right... But... If that's true, then... What do I do?' She asked me, looking melancholy
'I can't tell you what to do, after all, you are a sentient being… But I can make you a proposal.. I can leave you here, to continue waiting for your master, or, I can take you with me, give you a power upgrade and you can serve me while you wait for your master.. And rest assured, I won't force you to fight for me' I proposed to her 'Take your time to decide..'
I released the Halberd, still rooted to the ground, and turned to my parents
After a few moments of talking and telling them about what I found out, I could see their shocked faces.
"You're telling me, other than off-planet life, we're only alive because a weapon dropped here millions of years ago and *Booooom* on the dinosaurs?" My mom asked me in amazement, making gestures while demonstrating the *Booooom*
"Yes" I replied, still feeling amused by the whole question.
After all, I had just gone through a miraculous procedure, and soon after, I discovered the reason for the extinction of dinosaurs.
"I knew our lives were going to change, but not that this kind of shit would happen" My father, who is always very calm, said
"Yes, very amazing what a game of a game can do to you" I replied
"Well, I plan to design your bodies in the next few days, let me know if you want something specific.. " I spoke while waiting for Halberd to decide what she wanted to do about herself
"So, I'm glad you asked, why did I want something…" My dad was interrupted before he could finish
*Hoommm*
The Halberd vibrated, drawing my attention
I turned around and my dad said "Come on, I'll talk to you about it later"
What I did promptly
Walking again to face her, I touched her again, soon following her response.
'I'll choose a..'
