Chapter 9: Pranked
I made going to the gym a routine in the hope of forgetting her crying face. I made her cry and I hated myself for that. I continued to box without gloves, punishing myself for every tear she had shed that day and on all the other days she had been searching for me. To say the truth, I have been running for five good years from this strange feeling in my heart, a feeling I did not know I would feel, I was in fact afraid of it and very much incapable of it. The only thing I could do for Tatiana, was to watch out for her from a distance
"Sean, You have been doing this for almost a week, what for?" had to ask Jack my Beta.
If he thought he was going to get an answer from me for having asked such a question, well he got it wrong because I was just in no mood to answer the question.
"You know its an hour drive to reach her place right?" jack said.
Again there was total silence from me. I got back to my own weary thoughts and forgot the existence of Jack in the room. The next thing I heard was a bucket of iced water being poured on me.
"What the heck man!" I had to say while looking at Jack.
"Don't you swear at me Sean. I don't deserve that stupid silence. You are playing the wrong game and you know it," had to say Jack.
I gave up and slept on my back as Jack did the same. "I am sorry man, you did not deserve that," I had to say.
"Its okay, tell me how much does it hurt knowing she is a step away?" jack asked once more.
"You know I don't have an answer to that right?"
Its not that I did not have an answer, but I just wanted to keep the feeling to myself without even considering how lonely and miserable I was feeling.
"Its suffocating. I fear that I will hurt her. I know she is my Luna, the Queen of my heart. I can not beat destiny nor can I control this feeling anymore," I had to say while touching my heart.
"Does she know you are her soul mate?" had to ask Jack.
"I don't think she knows the implication of being ones soulmate," I had to say.
"Then go out and show her," said jack who parted me on the shoulder. I know he was encouraging me to go forward and confess my feelings to Tatiana, but I was afraid of being rejected as her Alpha. I don't think I was going to be able to withstand the pain of rejection when falling in love with someone seemed to be a very serious crime.
"You know, she sent you an email, should I read it to you?" had to say Jack.
"Whatever man," I had to say dismissing him.
"To you the man I love the most in my heart, I wish I was a perfect being being for …." I quickly snatched the phone from him. I just had to continue reading what was written by myself.

To cheer you up
I dashed to my office and got my car keys. I had to see her right away and continued to read the poem on the way.
I am full of shortfalls and I can not be your match
I am Immature and rightly much not your match
I wish I was a perfect being for you to just stand right next to you
I wish I would be given a chance to love you
To atone for the aches and yearns of my heart
To give thy heart the beats of a life time
I wish I was a being you could count on
Give me a breather and set my heart free
From the chains of the hurt I feel because I have fallen for you
Beb' I love you with all my heart
And I only wish I was a perfect being for you
When I got at Tresure land, I did not have to ask where she was. Her scent was so strong and I went right where she was. I did not bother to knock and just opened the door. I did not care how many people were in the room, all I could see was her looking delicious.
"Sean!" her voice echoed soothingly as well as shocked. I knew she was not expecting me, but what could I do, I was already there and directly aimed at her waist. I drew her closer to me and thank the heavens, she did not resist my touch. I went for her luscious lips and took my time to devour her. She kissed me right back and on went with the heated session.
I found myself seated on the balcony with her on my lap. I stopped for a second to look at her. She was anticipating for more, that much I could tell. There was something though that I wanted to do and that was to finish the last two stanzas of the poem she had written. I wanted to let her know that I had gotten the poem.
I wish I could have a moment with you,
To talk and laugh and cry together
To hold hands and reminisce the memories of us together
If us exists then let me in and let me be thy shield
Just like a shadow, let me be by your side to lean on.
I am so scared, I swear love is so scary
That's when in it alone, but together we shall concur.
I just wish I was a perfect being for you to rely on.
Her eyes were full of emotion I could not quiet read because the tears had gathered up. I lifted up my thumb and took away what had fallen and she kissed me this time with passion. That was her response. We remained cuddled up on the couch on her balcony enjoying the breeze of the night.
"Beb, I did not know you were a writer, more like a poet," had to say Tatiana.
I was puzzled for a second. The poem had come from her and not me. I couldn't help but ask.
"Beb, you wrote me that poem, have you forgotten already?" I had to say and kissed her top lip while chuckling.
"You know I have never been good with writing. I definitely did not write that," insisted Tatiana.
"Oh my God, Jack. What have you done," I found myself saying.
"Beb, what about Jack?" asked Tatiana.
There was only one explanation to all this, and that was that Jack had played me. I could not tell her that our hot, passionate kiss we just shared was as a result of a prank my Beta had organized, He was sure going to pay for this.
I failed to respond. I could not admit to her that I was pranked. Two things had arisen from all this, I was able to finally let her know how I felt and I knew her heart was beating for me and oh the third thing, I was able to confirm that she was my soul mate.
"Tatiana I have to go right now," I had to say and carefully set her on the couch.
I was embarrassed and I could tell she got the hang of it.
"Spend the night," she said.
If jack had not spoiled this, I was definitely going to spend the nigt cuddling with her, but right now I was so angry and pissed off. I wish I had verified that the email was from her in the first place.
"I will talk to you and pretty soon," I had to say and kissed her forehead.
I had to leave in a hurry. Jack was done for.
