Chapter 39: CHAPTER THIRTY NINE: A SECOND CHANCE
" I have been reselected as the main male character for Director Choi's series!!" I said with excitment " Wait did you all know about this?" I asked since non of them seemed surprised," Well we kind of found out yesterday..." Eric said," And you didn't spill...I mean maybe the rest can keep a secret but you can't...you even said that it makes you feel like you are being choked...and you have to let it out." I said as every one laughed," I made sure he said nothing..." Alia replied as I looked back at Jiang Lili," You knew about this too?" I asked as she smiled mischievously..." Maybe." She replied as I looked back at the contract...I just couldn't believe my eyes..." Are we going to celebrate this wonderful news or what?" Eric asked as every one grabbed their drinks..." Come on say something my hand is starting to ache." Eric added as I picked up mine," Uhmmmm I really don't know what to say...just like I have achieved this today with thanks to everyone one here....I hope the new years comes with new opportunities for each one of you..." I said as we all raised our glasses," Cheers..." We all said as we tossed...I looked back at Sang yi and mouthed a thank you to her since I knew she was a big part of this..." Happy new year.." she replied.

" Here you go." I said as I handed Sang yi a cup of warm water..." Thank you." She replied," Are you really not going to ask?" She said as I stared back at her," Ask about what?" I replied," About the contract....and how they changed their mind.." she replied," Will you tell me how you got the contract if I asked." I said," Well... of course.." she replied as I pulled her close to me," Well how did you do it..." I asked," Now that you have asked..I suddenly feel the need to leave the suspense going on for much longer ." She replied as she pulled away from me..." Hey!!!" I exclaimed," Let's go and get some sleep ..Iam really tired." She said as she ran away and me after her.

" Is this okay?" Sang yi asked as she showed me her outfit.." It's fine..we just going to meet my parents..." I replied," That's exactly why I want to look my best.." she replied as she turned around and continued checking her self out in the dressing mirror," You are looking okay...." I said to her," Now let's hurry up before Lili calls us for the fourth time already..." I added.
It wasn't long before we made it to the columbarium...we were all mostly quiet on our way their I guess we just had alot to think about.. especially since it has been a while since we had gone to visit our parents and pay respect to them..on our way out of the car we were approached by an old man who guided us to where our parents urns are stored and so we proceeded.
" I don't know what to say.." Jiang Lili said with a crack in her voice, We had arrived and just stood still for over ten minutes just staring at their urns and their phorograph " Have you been well mom and dad." She added as I felt tears in my eyes, Sang yi was right besides me holding onto my hand," we have been alright...we have tried to be alright so you don't have to worry about us." She added as she looked back at me," Should I be the one to Introduce Sang yi to them?" She asked as I stepped forward," Why? Are you the one who will be marrying her..." I said as I looked back at Sang yi..." Mom and dad....it's me Jiang Hao...like Jiang lili has said we are all doing okay so I hope you can rest and not worry about us...and I also have some one new to introduce to you...some one I really love and I hope you would love too..." I said as Sang yi came forward and paid her respects," Auntie and Uncle nice to meet you...my name is Sang yi...you don't have to worry about Jiang Hao or Jiang Lili I promise to take care and support both of them." She said as she slightly bowed infront of them..." You heard that mom...we finally have some one to take care of us...so you don't need to worry any more." I added as I felt my tears almost rolling out of eyes..." We shall come to visit you often.," I added as I turned to the other side.." It's okay." Sang yi said as she pulled me in for a hug," You can cry if you want too." She added as I held tightly onto her for comfort...." Come here..." Sang yi said as she pulled Lili in for a hug too.

" Do you really have to leave today..I mean you can stay for a few days...you shouldn't be such a workaholic." I said to Lili as she packed her bags..." Also we rarely bond as siblings." Trust me if we always hung out them we wouldn't be as close as we both are right now.....plus you should use this time to hang out with Sang yi you won't have much time after you start shooting...." She said as she walked towards me and gave me a slight punch on my arm," why did you do that...?" I asked," To show my love for you." She replied as I scoffed and glared at her.

It wasn't long before we escorted Lili to the airport later that day," I'll be off them." Lili said as she hugged both me and Sang yi," Take care of yourself." Sang yi said to her as she turned to leave...if there is anything I admired about my sister was how strong minded and gard working she was .seeing the dedication she gives the company is definetly something I didn't have, maybe because I wasn't interested in business or maybe because I just don't have it, either way letting her take over the company was the best decision seeing how she is running it in a way I would never have....Iam proud of her.

" Is it okay?" I asked Sang yi as we stepped out of the car," I mean is it okay to let them buy us dinner when it should be me.. thanking them for the opportunity." I added," Well...they called us for dinner . probably because they had something to say to you...you can still thank them for the opportunity or even insist on paying the bill." She replied as we found our way inside the restaurant...Earlier today, I had received a call from Mr Choi and he was requesting to have dinner with Me and Sang yi and he also said his wife was joining...it was at the same time I was still puzzled on how to thank him so this was a great opportunity.
" Come and sit here Sang yi." Mrs Choi said as she pulled Sang yi to seat besides her," You can seat here son." Mr Choi said as I pulled out a seat and sat down..." Why do you look tense?" he asked as I smiled nervously..." Well I wanted to invite you to dinner first but you beat me to it." I said as he chuckled," If only I waited...." he said as we both laughed," Can we order...?" Mr Choi said as we were all given the menu, we made our orders and had our glasses filled with wine as we waited,Sang yi and Mrs Choi seemed to be enjoying whatever conversation they were having seeing how they kept laughing out loud," Mr Choi!" I called out...." I wanted to thank you for the opportunity...I know it must have not been easy to convince every one but you did so thank you for believing in me." I said as he smiled," Well you shouldn't be thanking me with words." He said as I got a bit confused," Thank me with actions...show everyone else that I made the best decision by delivering the best acting." He added," I know you are great...I saw it during the audition and now I need you to be greater....seeing this series and you become a bit will be the best way to say thank you." He concluded as he raised his glass..." Cheers..." He said as we tossed.

" Are you sure you don't need a ride?" Mrs Choi asked," We have already ordered for a designated driver.." I replied," Well okay..make sure you get home safely." She said as she made her way into her car," Good night." She said as they left...." Sang yi!!!" She called out," Don't forget our appointment.." she said," I wouldn't..." Sang yi replied as we both watched her leave..." It's cold..." Sang yi said as I wrapped my arms around her...." How far is the designated driver?" She asked as I checked my phone," Ten minutes..." I said as I looked around and saw a cafe," Should we wait from there...you can have a cup of hot chocolate.." I suggested," No it's okay...let's wait from here." Sang yi said as she rubbed her fingers together..." This won't do....let's go." I said as I dragged her to the cafe where we sat and waited for the driver.
