Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Berserk
"My words mean no threat, I mean no threat" Daisy mimicked Mia.
"Are you done talking" Edward who as been silent looked at Daisy, his gaze on her was fierce and unexpectedly scary.
"Now the oh-so-silent foster brother is talking" Daisy stood up and tore Mia's shirt, living Mia speechless.
"How dare you?" Mia said' the whole cafeteria was watching the whole drama, and what happened just now made them gasp in awe. When Mia stood up to get out of the mess Daisy pushed to make her sit down.
"You know Mia, it is good that our parent are the best enemy that i have ever heard of, and it is so much fascinating to know that you attract. You..."Daisy was busy bullying while Mia interrupted her.
"Let go" Mia said.
"I don't think so" Daisy said.
Mia's hope plummeted when she realized that Daisy was getting stubborn and also getting on her nerves.
"What a beautiful hair you've got here" Daisy said and tugged Mia's hair very hard, and she flinched.
"Stop pulling her hair" Edward warned.
Mia was silent with her closed eyes facing the ground while Daisy tugged her hair harder. Daisy was expecting Mia to beg for mercy but Amelia remained silent with her eyes closed. Daisy was determined in not letting her go until she beg for mercy, but neither did she know the kind of person that Mia is nor what she was doing with her eyes closed.
Seconds passed by and finally Mia opened her eyes which were now very red. She pushed Daisy away with an unimaginable force which pushed her backward towards one of the pillars, she laid there unconscious coughing out blood. The pillar started cracking due to the force, sand started sipping from the roof, the cafeteria was going to collapse. The students in the cafeteria screamed in fear due to what they saw, the cafeteria was in chaos the student tried to run away but all possible exit were locked. Amelia stood up, her vision was blurry red, she was not in her right senses. Mia's eyes were now completely red, including the white part. She raised her hands up and the tables started to burn to ashes.
"MONSTER, she is a monster" one of the student shouted.
"Run there is fire everywhere" another said
The fire alarm of the school alerted the school staffs, they came to open the locked doors for the students to get out of the building.
The staffs could not near Mia, so they called the cops. When the cops arrived they first tried call Edward who was still near Mia, but what surprised them was that he did not appear to be scared, he just sat there unmoving, or rather like a frozen statue.
When the frozen statue eventually moved, they expected him to move out of the cafeteria, but they were shocked once again because he moved towards the girl who was busy destroying everything she saw with her fire power. Edward moved closer to Mia, but he was only few meters away from her when he stopped moving. The whole place that was on fire before began to cool down.
Unexpected and unknown agencies came into the building. they headed to were the scene was taking place, one of them threw an object into the cafeteria and it was filled with a gas compound. When the smoke caused by the gas was reduced, the two students were found lying on the ground unconscious.
Dreaming about my first day at school again, I woke up panting hard as I placed my hand on my chest. I saw Mr and Mrs Anderson discussing with someone in the same room as me. They did not realize that I have woken up until I cough because I was thirsty. Mom was the first person to move to where I was to give me a glass of water.
"Oh dear, I have been so worried about you. Are you feeling okay, any pain or ....
"I am fine" I said after gulping the whole water. Remembering my dream, my heart began to beat faster.
"What happened? Why am I here, where is Edward". Mr Anderson walked towards his wife only to pat her shoulder,Mrs Anderson who was sitting beside Mia looked at her husband before nodding.
"Edward is doing....fine" Mr Anderson stressed the word 'fine' before he left. This man as always been cold and silent, emitting such a cold aura.
"Mia, I would be back in a moment" Mrs Anderson said before she left Mia. Mia saw the couple discussing about something with the man they were talking to earlier. Though she did not know or hear what they were talking about but she figured out that they were negotiating.
They were still busy discussing when Mia heard the name of her school being mentioned from the TV beside her.
MAN ON TELEVISION: Hawthorne Royal School was on fire two day ago due to an outrageous mystery, the students who witnessed the mystery said that a female student caused the mystery. One of the student named Daisy Kim said that...
The TV was turned off, Mia turn to look at Mr Anderson who turn the TV off. Mia realised that her dream was not only a dream, it's real. But... how did she... what really happened.
"What happened? I didn't harm anyone, no one died right?". Mia panicked, she was asking questions but this man just stood here speechless with a blank expression on his face, he looked pale.
"Dad, are you okay?" Mia asked looking at him. She looked at the direction where she saw the three discussing few minute ago but nobody is there. She tried to stand up from where she was lying but her hands was chained, she moved her hands to break the chain, but it didn't.
"Why am I being chained, where is Mom". When Mia didn't receive any response she shouted for help but all her effort were in vain. Am I dreaming, Mia said to herself. "Do not let them deceive you Amelia, don't fall into their deceit." Mr Anderson said motionless.
"What do you mean" Mia asked confused. "When we meet, we will find our way out of here" Mr Anderson said instead of answering her question. Mia realised that her dad just called her 'Amelia', something is wrong somewhere.
"What do you mean by when we meet again,you are right here" Mia said
"This person talking to you is not the person you think is talking to you"
"So Mr Anderson is not the person talking to me, if not then who" Mia laughed, but it didn't last long.
"I am Heimdall, your uncle. Grace's elder brother, your mother"
"My what...
Before she could say anything, the man talking to her changed into another person.
"I'm Heimdall, do not be frightened" the man said moving towards her. Mia moved her body backward, she was afraid. All these mysteries happening right now is like a nightmare.
"Don't come any closer" Mia said panicking, while the man stopped right in front of her.
"You are the last remaining in the Targaryen, the last dragon await you, you are the only one that stop the dragon from destroying the whole world while...
"Shut the crap, who are you and why is all this happening to me"Screamed Mia. She felt like she was insane,she doesn't even have an idea of what is happening right now.
"This is a nightmare" Mia said
"It isn't"
"Then why, how..." Mia was short of words, this was the third mystery that she as experienced in her life. First, the accident which happened years ago with her parents, Second, what happened at the cafeteria in school, and third is what is happening right now.
"Why me, why am I chained. Where am I ?" Mai asked.
"I don't know, I only used this opportunity to meet you before we meet again."
Everywhere turned black, and she heard a voice."Beware of them Amelia. Till we meet". Beware of who,she thought to herself. She did not hear any voice again, she shouted and called for help but no one was there to answer her. She felt something pierce into her skin, in no time she blacked out.
