Chapter 51: First Eye Contact

It's almost six o'clock in the evening, Mason was driving his Mercedes slowly, heading nowhere.

He has no idea where he is going, he has been just driving for the past few hours non-stop in 20 or 30 kilometers in an hour which is very slow.

His mind was not there, he was completely zoned out as his body automatically was driving.

His eyes barely blink, no emotion clear on his face.

In brief, he looked beyong shocked or traumatized unable to get a touch of reality.

There were dried tears traces on both of his cheeks and his hair was a mess.

He looked genuinely concerning.

The sound of the police car finally seemed to get him out of his daze.

He glanced at the mirror, only to notice the police officer asking him to pull over.
