Chapter 18 : Gunmont Town
"Where are we going now?" Ariel said.
"Anna, check the map given by Ernam," Toya said.
"The next city is named Gunmont Town," said Anna.
"Toya, can't you go faster?" Ariel said.
"No I can't," Toya said.
"Then what is the meaning of this Dynasty? My own car is faster than this," Ariel said.
"Cool down. Dynasty is in it's experimental period. More importantly, I can do nothing about it. I am not an inventor," Toya said.
"I wish Lig was here," Ariel said.
"I wish the same too. But I can do one thing for now," Toya said.
"And what's that?" Ariel said.
"Look Dynasty has three modes. The first one is 'Driving Mode' which we are currently using. The second one is 'Ship Mode' which can be used on water. And the third one is 'Plane Mode' which lets us fly it," Toya explained and enabled Plane Mode. Two wings came off from the two sides of the Dynasty. The tires went inside from below. And the Dynasty started flying. The speed increased a lot.
"See, it's not a bad vehicle," Toya said.
"I guess you are right," Ariel said.
When Ariel and Toya were talking, Anna was busy looking at the world map which they received from Ernam. Seeing Anna's focus on seeing the map, Ariel said," Anna, why are you looking so closely?"
"I suppose Ernam forgot to tell us about one place," Anna said.
"What is that?" Ariel said.
"Here is a part named Underworld," Anna said.
"Where is this Underworld," Ariel said.
"It's in the middle of the Sea Continent and Human Continent II. It's small but the name worries me," Anna said.
"Even so, we will have to cross it in order to get to Zero Point," Ariel said.
"I suppose I am worrying too much," Anna said.
"Yes, I guess so," Ariel said.
"Huh? You guys are talking about the Underworld?" Toya said and smirked.
"Yes, why are you smirking?" Anna said.
"I guess something exciting will happen," Toya said.
"I see," Ariel said.
"Anyways, we are here in Gunmont Town. Let me talk to the entrance guards," Toya said and got out of the car. He didn't carry his sword and left it in the car. Ariel and Anna remained in the car. Toya went to the guards. One stepped forward and said, " Your permission paper,sir?"
"Here it is," Toya said and showed the papers.
"How many people are you guys there in the car?"
"We are three people. One female and two male."
"Ok. You shall enter the town. Thanks for your cooperation."
"Ah, thanks. Can you tell me something about this town?"
"This town is specially for people who are great at using elemental guns to hunt, fight or assassinate. Some come here for training and some are born here."
"That's pretty crazy."
"And the most special thing about this town is a gun users tournament named 'Battle of Guns'. Ten people are chosen and the winner takes the title of the Head of the Town. This tournament happens every ten year. And this year the tournament is also taking place. It will take place the day after tomorrow. You guys can enjoy the fights if you buy tickets. I would recommend watching the tournament as this year the tournament has pretty interesting matchups."
"Ok. Thanks for the information," Toya said and got into the Dynasty.
"What took you so long? Did the guard trouble you?" Ariel said.
"No. I was taking information from him," Toya said.
"What did you get to know?" Anna said.
"Well this town is of elemental gun users. And a tournament is to take place soon," Toya said.
"So what are we going to do here?" Anna said.
"We don't have any business. Let's just leave this town," Toya said.
"I suppose so. Ariel?" Anna said.
"Let's remain here and watch the tournament," Ariel said.
"You sure? You don't think it would be a waste of time?" Toya said.
"No. We have been fighting without any break. Let's watch people fighting each other now," Ariel said.
"Ok. As the king wishes," Toya said.
"I am good with it," Anna said.
"Then let's go to a hotel first and take a rest," Toya said.
"Yeah, find one," Ariel said.
Toya shifted to 'Driving Mode' and slowly drove Dynasty through the town in order to find a hotel. Suddenly, he saw a bunch of guys with guns bullying one guy who was alone and failed to defend himself. Toya stopped the Dynasty. Ariel and Anna were surprised and Ariel said," Toya! Why did you stop the car?"
"Look ahead. Somebody needs our help," Toya said and got down holding his sword. Anna and Ariel also got down from Dynasty. They saw the bullying event and walked towards the guys. The guys also noticed them coming and they stopped. The one who was bullying the most came forward and said, "Who are you guys?"
"You don't have to know it," Toya said and took out his sword. The boys also took out their guns and pointed towards Toya, Ariel and Anna.
"Calm down," Ariel said and stepped forward.
"Who are you?"
"As my friend said,you don't have to know it," Ariel said.
"You…." the guy said and pointed his gun towards Ariel. "Do you even know who I am?"
"Who are you?" Ariel said.
"I am the son of this town's head and my name is Worn Giun."
"So you are the son of the Head of the Town and you think you can do anything you want to do?"
"Yes, I can."
"That's the problem of you rich kids."
"What do you mean?"
"I guess you don't even have a brain," Ariel said and chanted 'Alice'. He cut the gun of Worn.
"Why did you cut it?????"
"I just cut your sword. If you don't leave right now, I will cut your head."
"I will…."
"Do you have a death wish?"
As Ariel said, Worn and his friends ran away from that place. The bullied guy stood up.
"Tha-than-thanks for helping me."
"That wasn't any problem. But who are you?"
