Chapter 3: EPISODE 3 - An Unexpected Visitor
Lexia: Phize, Are you feeling okay?
Phize: Yeah mommy.
Lexia: Are you bored?
Phize: Oh! No, not at all. I'm just spacing out.
Lexia: Really now? Don't be shy to ask mommy to stop if you aren't interested 'kay?
*She pats Phize on the head*
Lexia: Now, let's get back to where we left off. You understand how to perform water magic? Or do you want me to chant it again?
Phize: No need, mom.
*Phize focuses on the garden*
Phize: With the spirits' guidance, spread in and out at such little amounts...
*He inhales*
Phize: WATER!
*Sprinkles of water come out of his hand and a magic circle forms around it, but it seems to be wavering*
*He is overjoyed*
Phize: MOMMY! I DID IT!
Lexia: I'M SO PROUD OF YOUUU!
*Not long, the magic circle goes unstable and the sprinkles of water now vary in size*
Phize: Mom? What's happening?
*The magic circle collapses and then disappears, the water also stopped flowing*
Lexia: Hmmm. Mommy is thinking...
*She stands up and looks at the sky and then after 5 seconds, she looks at her son*
Lexia: I GOT IT! Mommy recalls something about channeling mana throughout your body because if words were all that needed to chant magic, then everyone probably would've done so already.
Phize: Channel? How do I do that?
Lexia: Hmm. I don't know how to explain it, mommy hasn't gone to school for around a decade. But once you go to school, maybe your teacher can tell you all about it.
Note: Three months later.
*Vhint enters the house with a jolly good mood*
Vhint: HONEY I HAVE GOOD NEWS!
Lexia: What is it darling?
Vhint: The head of the school says they are willing to take Phize at school.
Lexia: THAT'S GOOD NEWS THEN! WAAAAH! OUR LITTLE BOY IS ALREADY GOING TO SCHOOL!
Vhint: They grow up so fast don't they? They are gonna interview him after 3 days, he can read, write and count right? Then this should be a piece of cake! Let's celebrate!
Lexia: Don't be so humble yet darling. But I believe in him. He's our son after all.
Vhint: Um, speaking of which, when was our last honeymoon?
Lexia: It has been a long time, hasn't it? 5 years? You've been holding back all this time, haven't you?
Vhint: Yeah, let's make up for lost times, shall we?
Lexia: Shall we give Phize a brother or a sister?
Vhint: Why not both?
Lexia: You sure are cheeky, that's why I fell in love with you.
Vhint: And you are just beautiful, your hair is silky, your voice is soothing, everything.
Lexia: Let's go to the bed. Make sure to not wake Phize up okay?
*Both of them head into their bedroom*
Vhint: I promise.
*Phize sleeps peacefully in his room*
Note: The couple made up for lost time, that afternoon.
*A few hours later*
Note: 8:00 PM, all three of them are sleeping in the room of the couple.
*A man with a black jacket with his two wolves appear near their door*
*Vhint notices the change and wakes Lexia up*
Vhint: Lexia, I feel a presence outside our home, should I check it out?
Lexia: Leave it alone for now, maybe it's just a rabbit.
*The man knocks on the door*
Shady Man: Hello? Anybody home?
*The man points his wolves toward the windows and they approach each one*
Shady Man: I know you're there.
*A slash of flesh is heard inside the house and the wolf from the left window cries for help*
*Blood spreads from inside and out the door*
Shady Man: Well, well, well. Who do we have here? Still as skillful as ever, Vhint the Invincible Juggernaut?
*Silence*
Shady Man: You don't need to hide.
*He looks around the house*
*He sees the crib*
*He smiles*
Shady Man: To whom does that crib belong, Vhint? Your child?
Vhint: WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Shady Man: Don't be like that. Do you remember me? I'm your best friend. Or at least I was.
Vhint: Callas? IMPOSSIBLE!
Vhint's thoughts: But that voice, it's unmistakable, it's Callas' voice.
Callas: That's right.
Vhint: HOW? I THOUGHT I KILLED YOU! I STABBED YOUR HEART AND BEHEADED YOU!
Callas: Well it seems the Witches of Haydel wanted me back, so here I am. Where's your wife? I wanna see her before I go.
Vhint: DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT! THE WITCHES OF HAYDEL ARE STILL ALIVE?
Callas: Yes, it seems so.
Vhint's thoughts: This is bad. THIS IS REALLY BAD.
Callas: As you can see, the Witches of Haydel had enough with the so-called Gracious Knights of Heaven. And we need you, you stand a chance against them, so either you cooperate or else.
Vhint: WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO WITH THIS? LEAVE ME AND MY FAMILY ALONE!
Callas: Playing dumb? I know your real identity, Vhint. And don't even try to flee, I can feel you're planning to let your wife escape with your son. I can shoot from a mile with ease.
Vhint's thoughts: This is bad.
*He whispers to Lexia*
Vhint: I have a plan, I'll go take him on and distract him, and you two run towards the nearest city.
Lexia: But Vhint, what if you ge-
*He kisses Lexia*
Vhint: I love you and our son, Lexia. I can take him on.
*He gets out from his hiding place and runs toward Callas*
*Lexia runs with Phize*
Vhint: CALLAS!
*Callas whistles*
Vhint's thoughts: What was that?
*The wolf from the right earlier who was hiding suddenly snatches Phize*
Lexia: PHIZE!
Vhint: LEXIA?
Callas: So the name of your wife is Lexia, eh? So you two tied the knot.
*Vhint points his sword toward Callas*
Vhint: LEXIA! GET PHIZE BACK!
*She runs towards the wolf's direction*
*A magic circle forms from Callas' right hand*
Callas: Speedy Shot.
*A spiky conic rock shoots toward Lexia*
Callas: Both of you are fighting me.
Vhint: DAMMIT.
*Meanwhile, the wolf, who was carrying Phize runs away south of the house*
Phize: MOMMY! HELP!
*He hits the wolf on the snout*
*The wolf lets go of him and he rolls to the ground*
Phize: Ow...
*He looks at the wolf and it is growling at him*
*He stands up*
I'M SCARED, I'M SCARED, I'M SCARED.
Phize: MOMMY!
*He cries*
Where are they? I want my mommy...
*The wolf proceeds to charge him and he blocks it with his right arm*
Phize: AAAAAHHHHHHHH! IT HURTS!
*He sees his blood quickly run from his arm*
AHHHH! THE PRESSURE!
*He punches the wolf but the wolf bites harder*
Phize: AAAHHHHHH!
*He suddenly remembers the time he got hit by a car*
I-I REMEMBER!
