Chapter 13: EPISODE 13 - Confession

2:00 PM
It's been more than a month ever since when I and Pallitra became best friends, and it's been a few weeks now that I've felt something weird about her. I feel fluffy and I feel like I want to hug her every day. I think I know what feeling this may be, but I don't wanna admit it.
Phize: Pallitra!
*Pallitra snores*
She slept again...
*He taps her*
Phize: Yo, it's time to wake up.
Pallitra: *She wakes up* Eh? Is it time already?
Phize: Geez, how are you going to learn anything if you keep sleeping off?
Pallitra: Hehe, sorry, I'm sleepy every day.
I just noticed, but we've been best friends for more than a month but we haven't visited each other's houses yet. I should make her visit my house.
Phize: Pallitra, wanna visit my house?
Pallitra: Eh... Are you sure? Your parents won't get angry?
Phize: No, no, I'm pretty sure they would be glad to have you over!
Glad is an understatement.
*Both of them go down the stairs*
Phize: Come! Come!
Pallitra: Wait for me! I'm still tired y'know?
*They both encounter Vhint at the entrance*
Vhint: PHIZE!!!
Phize: DAD!
*They run towards each other and hug*
*Vhint peers over to Pallitra*
*Vhint whispers to Phize*
Vhint: Is that her? The white-haired girl?
Phize: Yeah, daddy. Oh, dad! I have something to ask.
Vhint: What is it? Are you going to invite her over?
Phize: WHA- HOW DDI YOU KNOW?
Vhint: I can tell by your expressions, your excited aren't you?
*Phize turns red*
*He punches Vhint*
Vhint: OOF! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!
Phize: No reason.
Vhint: Pallitra, is that your name?
Pallitra: Pallitra Strata, sir.
Vhint: No need to call me sir. You can call me Dad.
DAD!
Vhint: You can come to our house. But it's not technically a house, more of a room we stay in. Will that be ok with you?
Pallitra: Anything is fine with me!
*He turns around*
Vhint: What an angel. I'm gonna choke with diabetes.
Maybe you meant choke with sugar.
*They all arrive at home*
*Vhint kicks the door*
Vhint: HONEY! I'M HOME! AND WE HAVE A VISITOR!
Pallitra: U-Uh, pleased to meet you, Phize's parents! Sorry to intrude.
Lexia: Oh, don't be. Make yourself at home.
*Lexia looks at Phize*
Hm?
*She smiles*
MOM!
Phize: Mom! Is it okay if me and Pallitra go play outside?
Lexia: Sure thing! But make sure to take care of him, Pallitra! I'm counting on you!
Pallitra: Sure thing, Phize's Mom!
It's actually the other way around.
*Lexia looks at Phize*
Lexia: *Whispers* Go get her.
*Phize goes red*
GEEZ!
*Phize grabs Pallitra's hand and go outside*
Phize: Let's go play outside, Pallitra!
Pallitra: Okay!
*Both of the go downstairs*
Vhint: MY SON HAS GROWN SO BOLD! I'M SO PROUD!
Lexia: Looks like we found our future daughter-in-law.
*Phize and Pallitra go outside*
*They go outside the hotel*
*They through some buildings and go to a dark corner*
Phize: WELCOME TO MY TRAINING SPOT!
Pallitra: That's kinda sad.
Phize: HEY! I COULDN'T LET OTHER PEOPLE SEE ME! Oh and hey this can surprisingly fit two people in.
Pallitra: I know what you're thinking.
Phize: UH HUH!! A FIGHT!
Pallitra: Create Wood!
*They both get wood shaped like a cross*
Phize: Now we both have swords.
All right!
Phize: Let's practice our magic. You know what to do right?
Pallitra: Of course! Now... POSITIONS!
*Pallitra is on the opening of the corner while Phize is on the end*
Phize: In..3...2...1...GO!
Pallitra: FIRE!
*The fire approaches Phize but he slashes it with his sword and it disappears along with Pallitra's magic circle*
YES! I DID IT! I MANAGED TO CANCEL THE SPELL!
Pallitra: WOAH! You actually managed to do it this time. Now it's my turn!
Phize: All right! WATER!
*The water approaches Pallitra*
*She tries to slash the water but she failed and the water just splashes on her*
Phize: No luck, this time, eh?
Pallitra: I did it one time before, though.
By placing an interruption or an unnecessary part for mana to flow in, we can cancel the magic attack, and we're trying to practice our aim and reaction-time with wooden swords.
Phize: You'll get it soon.
*Phize sees a bench near the corner*
Phize: Let's sit here.
Pallitra: Can't I try it now?
Phize: No, I don't want to. We won't have time for other things.
*Pallitra sits down beside him*
*Phize goes red*
U-Um...
Phize: Aren't we a bit too close?
Pallitra: Hm? But we've always been close to each other. Is something the matter?
Phize: M-Maybe not.
She's so close. SHE'S SO CLOSE! I can smell her perfume from up here. Wait, she has perfume?
Pallitra: Here, I brought some snacks!
*She brings out two mayonnaise sandwiches*
*She puts one on her mouth and gives one to Phize*
Phize: Thank you.
*He blushes*
Wait, I just noticed, but isn't it weird since I'm technically more than 2 decades old to have a crush on a little girl as old as me?
*He looks at Pallitra eating*
Man, she looks so cute.
*She notices him and immediately goes red and faces away*
Phize: Ah-
It's weird to consider my age since I've been reincarnated now, I think this is fine for now.
Pallitra: Um, Phize, I've been meaning to ask you but...
Phize: W-What is it?
Pallitra: Well, y'see, these past few weeks with you has been fun, and... and...
*She goes red*
Phize: Uh, yes?
Pallitra: Well, um... CAN YOU MARRY ME?

*The people around them look*

Phize: O-Of course, I l-l-like *his voice fades* you...
AHH! THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING! I LITERALLY JUST CONFESSED!
*Pallitra sweetly smiles*
Pallitra: Really?
Phize: Y-Y-Yes...
Pallitra: Thank you! I'm so happy right now.
*Tears come out from her eyes*
Phize: P-P-PALLITRA?!
Pallitra: Oh, don't worry, these are just tears of joy.
Phize: B-But, i-isn't marrying too quick, and aren't we too young? NOT TO EXPECT A BIT TOO FAST!
*She blushes*
Pallitra: I-I couldn't help it. Y-You just looked so cute t-today, so I had t-to.
*He blushes*
Pallitra: Fine then, we'll make a promise.
Phize: A promise?
Pallitra: Yes. Do you promise to marry me when I'm older? When I'm 18 years old?
T-This is a critical moment. I have to think about this one.
*He looks at her*
But I genuinely love her, don't I? Then I'll be sure to keep that promise.
Phize: I promise!
Pallitra: Pinky promise?
*She puts out her pinky*
Phize: I promise.
*His pinky grabs hers and they conjoin*
This... is the happiest and best day of my two lives. A confession day.
