Tanya's POV
I was still sitting on my bed. Officer Marley was supposed to come and give my some information.
I had payed him to tell me if the commisioner makes any changes to schedules or if more officer are hired. I need to know every little detail of the prisons security for this plan to go perfectly.
When I first arrived here it took me ages to adapted to my new "home". I had to learn how to tell what prisoners were safe to talk too and what cops give the worst punishments for bad behaviour. I actually ended up making a friend or two. My first friend Jesimine it not in the prison anymore. Her sentence was shortened because of good behaviour and she got out a few years ago. I still write to her every now and then even though she rarely replies. Apparently she got some top manager job even with her criminal record. I guess no wealthy businesswoman wants to be seen talking to a criminal. That's fair. However it still hurts me that she forgot about me so easily.
My second friend was a 25 year old named Taylor. She was transferred to a mental hospital after he case was looked at again and she plead insane. I'm not allowed to contact her. This makes no sense to me as Taylor and I never got into trouble together. She was actually a good influence on me. Its wierd to admit it but I do miss her a lot.abye one day when she is "better" she can come visit the prison.
Or we can meet at a small café and I am wearing glasses and a cap so no one recognises me.
Just keeping my options open.
The clock was ticking and Officer Marley still had not arrived. Where was he? I am a busy woman (yes because I have so much to do being trapped in a jail cell).
However I must say the pudding cups we get on Fridays are actually really good.
I'm going to miss them when I break out.
Do you think I will be able to sneak a few in my pockets before I leave?
