Chapter 7: Beginning of the training and Useless class
We are at the second day and the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the message of the system that say that the upgrade ended and the System is unlocked. When I dismissed the alert, an emotionless voice appeared in mind.

"Good morning" I said half-asleep not realizing that a voice appeared in my head.
But after clearing my mind of the sleepiness I realized that I spoke to someone but when I look around no one here I hear it another time.

"Who!" I screamed not knowing where the fuck did the voice comes from.

"Well, it seems that for now I don't need anything apart maybe the skill [Iron Stomach] if I still want to eat monster meat as for magic I just need to assimilate the book on Magic that I made with LOHP and practice in ROVJI so for now I don't need anything. I'll have to wait after diner if I want to train in ROVJI…" As I was thinking to what to do next, I heared a knock on the door.
"Excuse me Hero but it's time for breakefeast and after your training begin."
"Felicia closes the system."
"Alright Master."
"I'm here!" I said as I opened the door and it's always the same spy that greet me, it seems that she really is my assigned maid.
"Are you ready?" She says looking at me from head to toe.

After an awkward walk I arrive to where we will eat and there nothing special apart from the food that's not that bad, I often read in story that the food at the medieval age was not good but it does not seem to be the case here.
Nothing happened during breakfast and now it's time for training. Arriving at the training field Meld began to explain what we will be doing.
"Good morning, heroes today begin your training but first take this."
After saying that, a maid came to us give to each one of us a silver plate 12 centimeters by 7 centimeters.
"All right, everyone got one? These are called Status Plates. They will show you your stats and serve as an identification card. As long as you have this, you won't get lost, so don't lose it."
Commander Meld had a carefree way of speaking, he advised us to not talk to him formally but many of the students did not feel comfortable speaking to their elders in such a nonchalant manner. But personally, I liked that, although I lived in Japan for 17 years, I still was in America for 23 years so I never really liked to speak formally with peoples.
After being certain that we all have our SP (Statues Plates) he began to explain us how to use them.
"Take a needle and make a small nick in your finger. Drop some of your blood on the magic formation engraved on the plate to register ownership. If you say "Status Open," the plate will show you your stats. Ah, have you never seen anything similar? Sorry, I didn't know that. These objects are a kind of artifact which have been used since ages past."
"Artifact?" Kouki asked, being unfamiliar with the term.
"An artifact is a powerful tool which cannot be reproduced by modern means. It is said they were created when God and his family roamed this land. The Status Plate is one such artifact. It would usually be considered a national treasure, but this is distributed to the general public, since it's a convenient for identification."
"I see." We all said while nodding, apart me who already knew all that from my past life and the books of the library but I still listened because I have the tendency to forget things easily.
After that we all picked our fingertips with the needles and when the blood came into contact with the magic formation of the SP the magic formation shined and Felicia voice began to appear in my head.
"Master something is trying to scan you. Do you want to hide or modify some information's?"
"Yes, hide all the question marks and skills apart from Transmuter and Language Comprehension."
"Right away Master."
A second after my SP shined with a gold color and tinge of sky blue, the commander explained to us that the color, of our magic is dependent on the person. But the magic color of Hajime Nagumo before the fall was sky blue but mine is mainly gold, it seems that gold is the color that comes from my soul have and the tinge of blue is the magic from the body, because I took his body my magic was also influenced by the body, I think. Well, no use thinking to much it will not change anything.

Apart from the stats and magic color my SP look exactly the same than on the novel. After each of us looked at out stats and commander Meld began another explanation.
"Has everyone had a look? Let me explain. First is "Level." It will increase as you get stronger. The highest a human can go is Level 100. In other words, your Level shows your base potential. When you reach Level 100, you have reached the pinnacle of human potential. It's extremely rare for someone to reach that, though."
Unlike games, leveling up does not mean getting extra stats.
"You can raise your stats by training, using magic, or magical tools. Also, someone with a high magic stat will be able to raise the others more quickly. Though we don't understand all the details, it is believed magical power can assist the physical body in improving. Also, look forward to the gear we have prepared for you. After all, you are all heroes. We are using the national treasury to help give you supplies!"
From what Commander Meld said, killing demons would not guarantee stats going up. They would increase with steady practice and experience.
"Next us is "Class." Simply put, this is your talent. The skills you have at the end of your stats are directly linked to your class. People who have classes are rare. They can be divided into two categories, combat and non-combat. A combat class appears in one out of one-thousand people, while non-combatants show up in one out of one-hundred. Amongst those with noncombat classes, one out of ten are rare. Most people in noncombat classes have manufacturing classes."
"Now then... Let's see what everyone has. The average person at Level 1 has stats around 10. You should be several times higher. I'm jealous! Please, report what your Status Plate says. This will help us develop a training regimen which suits you."
Well, my stats are average, even with training this body just don't want to gain muscle or anything like that, it's like it is inscribed in my DNA that I no right to be more than average.
After Meld told us to report what our SP says, Kouki stepped forward and spoke while showing his Stats.

After that they all began to congratulate Kouki and Meld is continuing his explanation but I'm already sick of all this so I began to wander in LOHP and assimilate all the knowledge that I haven't used and a minute before the assimilation finished. Hiyama came and looked over my shoulder and began to laugh while clinching his stomach like this was the best joke of his life.
After seeing the commotion commander Meld came to me to see why Hiyama is laughing and he froze like he was put in a freezer when he saw my SP and because he is nice, he can't say that my class is useless so he tried to say why I can be useful but the more he spoke the more my classmate laughed and the angrier I felt because although I can be easy going and take insult without minding but I feel like I will soon be fed up with all this shit. I'm 43 years old for God's sake!!!!
Although I know they are just kids but ruining the life of someone just for your one-way love is just nonsense. But for now, I'll endure it and wait tonight after I integrated with my bloodline.
"Oh yeah Felicia how long will the integration with my blood line will take and does it hurt?"
"The integration will take at least 4 hours and it will hurt a lot because your body will be reformed to a fundamental level and host cannot lose consciousness or he will die."

After seeing each of our class he began to give us personalized training regime but because Transmuter is not the best Job, he told me to try to reinforce my body and practice with magic power for now.
After 7 hours of training, I was mentally and physically exhausted so I directly went to my room and sleep in ROVJI to have more time for myself.
Arriving in the realm nothing was different from the novel but I wanted a bed to sleep comfortably so I asked Felicia.
"Hey Felicia can I take object from the real world here?"
"Yes, Master any inanimate object or spiritual being connected to you can be brought here."
"Ok so can you buy a good bed so I can have a sleep and wake me up in 8 hours please."
"It's done Master I hope you have a good sleep."
"Yeah, thanks Felicia, good night.
