Chapter 38: Chpt #38 - Keeping it a secret
The next morning, Ryan was waiting for Nancy outside her room.
The moment Nancy step out, Ryan kisses her forehead and said "Morning, let's have breakfast"
As soon as they walk off, Nancy stops and pull Ryan in.
"Let's keep this a secret from everyone. Be it work or friends. I just want it to be between us and that I don't want to make things so complicated and explaining things when something wrong happen between us" Nancy explains.
"Hmm sure, i shall listen to you as long as you are mine forever" Ryan smiles and kiss the back of Nancy's right hand.
They then went to eat breakfast together with Lucy. It was pretty awkward and everyone kept quiet.
"What's wrong with you guys? Its so quiet" Lucy laughed.
"Nothing jie, i was just tired" Nancy smiles and continue to eat her breakfast.
"Jie i need to go now, i have some work need to be done" Nancy quickly ate her breakfast and left.
Minutes later, Ryan said the same thing and left too.
"Hey, have some work to be done? Hmm I'm your boss but I didn't know you were that busy that you have no time for breakfast?" Ryan pulls her arms and whispered. He creases her hair and ran back to his room to get changed.
"Ryan Gu!" Nancy shouted and Ryan laughed.
30 minutes later, they were ready for work.
"Bye Lucy-jie see you next time" Nancy hugs her and left for work together with Ryan.
"Are you going to wear like this to work?" Nancy was confused.
"Of course not i have spare clothes" Ryan took the clothes from the back seat and started to change.
"Ya! Ryan! Are you seriously going to change here?!?" Nancy looks away while he was stripping.
"Then close your eyes if you don't want to see" Ryan smirks and started to change his clothes.
Nancy close her eyes tightly and asked him the same question every 2 minutes "Are you done"
Ryan was already done but he purposely said no. Nancy was so annoyed that he took so long to change.
"Why are you even taking so long to change!" Nancy opens her eyes and out of sudden Ryan came close to her. Nancy was shocked and went speechless.
"Why did you open your eye before i said i was done?" Ryan whispered.
"I…i…" Nancy stuttered.
Ryan then pull her seatbelt and adjusted for her.
"Didn't know you love me that much to make you stutter" Ryan jokes with her.
"Ryan Gu! Can you stop…" Before Nancy could end her sentence, Ryan gave her a peck on her lips. Nancy sheepishly smiles and looks away.
They are almost reaching SOHO when Nancy suddenly told him to stop.
"Ryan stop! Alight me here instead! I don't know want any one to know about us" Nancy suddenly remembers.
"Fine, fine…" Ryan stops the car.
"See you later" Nancy smiles and before she could step out from the car, Ryan pulls her back in for another kiss.
"See you at work, sweetheart" Ryan whispered.
Nancy laughed and went out from his car.
"Morning guys!" Nancy cheerfully greeted everyone.
Anna, Ricky and Alice roll their chair to her seat.
"What are you guys doing?" Nancy was shocked.
"Don't you feel…she's kind of different?" Anna started the conversation.
"Yes yes. She seems to be glowing." Ricky added.
"Oh my god! Nancy! Are you in love!?" Alice shouted.
Coincidentally Ryan and Desmond has arrived and upon hearing that, Ryan purposely coughed to get their attention. Everyone stands, greeted Ryan and went back to work.
Nancy then texted Ryan, "Thank you!"
