"What do you need from us Ri?" Alex asks. "Can i just say it is an honor to finally meet you mister Riley sir." a young man around 19 with a buzz cut gushes to Riley. "I don't see why and call me Riley not sir or mister ill shoot you in the fucking knee if you do it again." Riley groans turning to Alex and Rat. "what the fuck have you guys been saying about me?" Riley asks raising an eyebrow. "Just the truth as well as your records and logs we could save." Rat says shrugging. Riley rolls his eyes. "Which fuck is in charge of my scavengers?" Riley asks. "Your scavengers?" Tank says jokingly. "Yes mine the entire clan is mine until it runs like a beast of perfection so who do i tell what to do?" Riley says staring at Tank. "that would be me then." Tank says sighing. "Good Tank have your people ransack every inch of the buildings around us i want them stripped bare all useful things will be added to our stockpiles and the useless shit will either be burned or repurposed until it is useful. All the metal steel and iron will be brought to the Camelot people for forging and trade i will personally tell them that this is so and settle a price." Riley says leaning back in the chair he sits in. "got it brother ill go get started on my maps." Tank says getting up. "Didn't mister Riley tell us to rest today?" A red headed girl sitting beside Mrs. king says. "We that are in charge don't get that luxury and i also mentioned id shoot anyone who called me mister or sir." Riley reminds the girl who turns pale when Riley sets his fathers gun on the long table in front of him. "Do as i say to the best of your abilities as the leaders you will get no mercy from me if your here then you are my equal and i will hold you to the standards i hold myself being tired or afraid or worried and hurt are not things i get to fucking feel when there are things i must do for the clan if you cant keep up with that standard leave now." Riley says crossing his arms. No one moves. "That's the spirit we will share the burden, now Rat your hunters will have one hell of a week wanna know why?" Riley asks cocking his head to the side. "Because you now owe me 1000 zombie heads and i want them within 7 days while you are hunting those thousand you will be searching for settlements as well we aren't alone and we will know our neighbors before they know us." Riley says grinning. "On it." Rat says standing up gripping Jessica's hand. "What do you people do?" Riley asks pointing at the other 2. "I'm in charge of maintaining all the gear and checking on everyone's well being with Mrs. King." the buzz cut boy says. "Well i dont really know fuck all to do with you so keep doing whatever she has you doing." Riley says waving his hand about. "Alex you still doing the research and development?" Riley asks "yeah i still build bombs and meds." Alex says laughing. "Good boy, then I need gunpowder." Riley says. "Yeah i don't-" "ill teach you how to make gunpowder you refine it." Riley says grinning at his brother. "Fuck it alright brother ill ready my lab." Alex says standing and leaving. "What do you do?" Riley asks, pointing at the red headed girl. "I oversee the fort's security." she answers. "I want you to run practice drills of a siege and i want all your people to be prepared to kill humans they must be ruthless and vigilant or ill have your ass." Riley says. The girl stands. "That sounds kinky but i'll get to it boss and bring you my drill plans." the girl leaves. "Why are you still here Mrs. King?" Riley asks curiously. "Jason and i found something in Mrs. Shelly's closet we need to talk about." Mrs. King says. "What is it pictures of our crimes or was she secretly a pedo and i'm going to need therapy even more?" Riley asks jokingly. "No Riley it's about the virus and why you don't get turned when bitten." Mrs. King says. "Well fuck."
