Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Another Group?
Rick and John then carried the unconscious man into cell block A, which was currently unused. They brought him into one of the cells and zip tied him to a chair. John said, "You should go get Jack, this guy needs to be patched up."
Rick said, "Sure. Question him afterwards and find this other group and where they hang their hats." Rick then walks out of the room, John seeing this, slaps the man in the face. Waking up suddenly the man lifts his head up but saw nothing, the black bag still over his head.
The man starts to yell, but John rips the bag off his head. John glares at the man, as the man glares back at him. The man struggled, trying to pull free, but he quickly regretted that. Pulling on the restraints, caused him to feel a sharp pain in his wrist, he had seemingly forgotten that John had broken his wrist. Also, when he tried to move his leg, he had remembered the bullet wound in his leg. The man cried out in pain, of his own doing.
John looked at this scene and smirked. John then waited for Jack as he watched the man squirm. Jack came into the room a couple minutes later. Jack assessed the man's injuries before he stitched his wounds closed. Jack then walked out of the room, at John's order. With Jack gone, John stared at the man before he said, "Name!"
The man looked at John and smirked, John smiled back, then he punched him right it the face with a jab. John repeats, "Name!"
The man recovers for a second, then he says, "Chipper! Asshole."
John doesn't like the attitude, so he punches Chipper a few more times, with a one two combo. Chippers nose now bleeding, John says, "Answer me without attitude. Don't waste my God damn time! I don't care if I break your bones. No one is coming for you."
John then asks, "Why were you at that store?"
The man looks at John defiantly, John seeing this, clenches his fist, annoyance clear on his face. John says, "Fuck it. I'll beat the shit out of you. Then I'll ask you questions." John then began to break Chipper's face, punching over and over, only stopping when Chipper says, "Wait."
John pauses and glares at Chipper with a menacing grin, "You ready to talk?"
Chipper says after spitting out blood, "Yeah."
John questions, "Why were you at the store?"
Chipper say, "I was ordered to catch Michonne and bring her back, no matter the cost."
John asks, "Why?"
Chipper explains, "The Governor wanted her brought back."
John questions, "Who is this Governor, you speak of? Why does he want her so badly?"
Chipper pauses, but when he saw John's fist clench, he spoke hurriedly, "The Governor, I don't know his real name. None of us do. He wants Michonne because she held a sword to his neck."
John ignores the second part and says, "Us? How many of you are there?"
Chipper says, "There are 74, wait, no, 76. It's a whole town."
John says, "Interesting. Quite a lot of people. Which town?"
Chipper says, "Woodbury, it's not far from here. Couple hours away, tops."
John says, "Thanks for your cooperation. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not."
Chipper says, "What do you--" But he was cut off when John pulled a knife out and stabbed him in the throat. Chipper choke on his blood as he stared at John with his eye's wide open. John the pulled the knife out and stabbed his through the skull, killing him. John then covered him with a black sheet. Wrapping him up John walked out of the cell block and went to his car, where he put the no dead Chipper.
John then looked around for Rick, but he was unable to see him anywhere nearby. Beth was also nowhere to be seen, so John decided to walk into cell block C. Looking around inside, John quickly saw Rick and Beth standing in front of a now awake Michonne. John walked over and whispered to Rick, "I got a location and approximate number of enemies, just in case. The guy seemed like a piece of work, so I 'took care' of him."
Rick nods, a little surprised. John looks at Michonne and says, "All patched up, I see. Well, are you staying or leaving?"
Michonne answer while looking at Judith, "Staying."
John said, "Alright, I need some info from you."
Michonne thinks for a while before nodding.
John says, "I want to know what this place looks like. How many guards are there? What kind of weapons do they have? What defenses do they have set up?"
Michonne looks kind of overwhelmed, but she speaks none the less, "Its a couple streets surrounded by metal walls, they keep walkers out, but humans could easily sneak in. There are three or four guards at each gate, north and south. They have some automatic rifles, but only about 20 of them. There were no other defenses, that I could see."
Hearing this John nods, thinking, 'Nothing has changed from the show.' While John was thinking Amy walked past the cell, Michonne said surprised, "Andrea."
Amy turns around and looks toward Michonne saying with tears in her eyes, "How do you know that name?"
John was taken out of his thoughts by this and quickly walks towards Amy, pulling her into his embrace.
Michonne who was looking at Amy was surprised to see that she was pregnant. She looks at Amy and says, "I was traveling with Andrea for a long time. She stayed in Woodbury, while I left. You look a lot like her."
Amy hearing this, breaks down into tears saying, "She's alive!" Amy then nuzzles herself into John's embrace happy tears flowing from her eyes.
Michonne who saw this was shocked, she thought, 'What is the chance that I meet Andrea's sister, right after I leave her. It must be fate.'
After Amy had calmed down, she said, "John, please go get my sister. I want our baby to know her." John looking at her gorgeous face couldn't help but smile.
He said, "Now who am I to say no?" John then kissed her gently, rubbing her very protruded belly. She would give birth any day now, same for Maggie.
Amy hugged him back with all her strength. Rick seeing the ruthless man in front of him, who had just killed a man, smiled at this scene. Even his heart strings were gently tugged, same for Michonne. She looked at baby Judith who was now a couple weeks old, reminiscing of her own past.
