Chapter 6: Chapter 06:
Waking up in the morning is a real pain in the ass. I'd like to punch the guy who thought of making students go to school first thing in the morning.
When you see someone sleeping in the morning while you on the other have to wash your face with cold water to stop yourself from sleeping. It's kinda infuriating and makes you wanna bang all the steel pots in the house to disturb their sleep. I don't particularly hate my dad but I don't like people slacking off in the morning. Well he goes for his job in the evening but it's still annoying.
Sometimes it's good that he's asleep. My dad's a really talkative and loud person. I plainly hate loud noises and when I hear loud noises early in the morning, I start my day with negative emotions. I ate cornflakes for my breakfast and it soothed my soul. The annoyance slipped away while enjoying the flavor. I'd prefer a more quiet life and wished for it before school started. God knows how, the first day at school wasn't really a quiet day.
On my way to school, I came across a police station and there was a crowd gathered. The people were murmuring and were looking at a poster with three people's photos on it. All of them were men. The paper said;
MISSING
Hanma Senki, age: 34
Futitora Saki. Age 46
Masa shigeo. Age 55
Please report immediately if found.
At first I wasn't interested. I thought maybe these old men were drunkards and probably lost their way. I was walking away and then I heard someone say something in a loud voice.
" I forgot to add, the person who finds them or has a clue where they are, they'll be rewarded 10,00,00 yen ( Approx. $900 )." A police officer with a mask covering his whole face announced
The sides of my mouth started drooling.
" I could buy at least a hundred boxes of cornflakes." I wiped my mouth and shook my head
" No no, get a grip Sugawara. I'm not doing this for the money. People went missing, it's a citizen's duty to help the police." I justified myself.
" Doesn't he look cool?"
" I wonder how he looks under the mask." A few ladies who were on their way to their workplace started murmuring.
It was true that he might look good under the mask. He had veins bulging from his arms and had slender body. His face mask had eyeholes but there wasn't a mouth hole.
Suddenly, something caught my eye. I saw a person in a black robe with a hood staring at the crowd from far away. It was difficult to define it's gender. The moment our eyes met, the person lowered the hood and walked away. Something was suspicious, so I pedaled at full speed and caught it's attention. The person took a turn into an alley. But when I reached the point, no one was there.
" Hmm should I report it to the police? In the first place, why did that person run after our eyes met? Is he/she related to the missing people? Or is there something on my face? Damn, I really want those boxes of cornflakes. I mean I really want to help them solve these cases immediately."
I told myself.
While I was drowning in my thoughts, I had lost the track of time. I took a full 180 degree turn and pedaled as fast as I could. On my way to the school, yes you guessed it right. The same traffic police officer was chasing after me.
" Slow down or I'll use my full power and demolish you!!!!" He panted and wheezed while saying that.
Luckily I entered the gate before school started. I ran with all my might to the class and found my homeroom teacher coming from the opposite direction. I walked fast and tried entering the classroom before her. She looked at me and understood what I was trying to do and started walking fast too. She glared at me and walked faster. She was closer to the classroom so I had no choice but to run. She looked alarmed and tried doing the same. But fortunately, she wore heels and couldn't do anything about it. I reached the door first and felt sorry for her.
" Ladies first." I opened the door for her.
Her cheeks and ears went red, she was both angry and embarrassed. I wanted to make a smug face but I realized that I was being childish.
" Will you mark me as late now?" I asked.
She sighed," No not today."
I walked to my seat and sat down. I saw Makino and Keisuke talking with each other.
"Yo Suga San, did you hear about the three missing people? I've heard that they've been kidnapped. All three of them are some really important people in some big companies." Keisuke said.
" Yeah, just saw some posters speaking about them in the morning."
" You think it's someone with a grudge against them?" Makino asked.
" Might be....Wait how do you know they got kidnapped?"
" Well isn't it unusual that all of them got lost and the biggest thing is that they're CEO's of big companies."
I gave it a thought and sat down.
At the same time, somewhere in an underground lab....
"Yesss!! Yesss!! It's almost completed." A man in a lab coat exclaimed.
He looked at a man in a a capsule whose body was attached with big wires. The man had grey fur sticking out and had fangs sticking out if his mouth.
"I will name you Alpha. The first werewolf to ever exist." He laughed madly.
