3rd POV
"Everyone, Be sure to be prepared for the next test " Professor pom added after teaching another class to them.
The entire class sighed disappointed that they had to take another magical test they disliked for obvious reasons.
The class dispersed to take at their respective examination centers with the professor they had assigned for spectating the event.
Akira has decided to talk with his friends before taking exams.
"Nicholes.....how many times do we have to write these boring and practically senseless examinations " Akira complained to Nicholes.
"Calm down...Akira...I am sure they will conduct a battle arena this month after the exams....." Nicholes reminded Akira.
"Oh! And also we have the tournament on campus after this month...We have to form a team by then. " Nicholes told him.
"Really!.....then can we form a team by ourselves...We will include you, me, lotus, eric, and some other member of our team... " Akira asked Nicholes.
"Yeah....we can try that....not sure if others will agree to the idea...but I accept...Since it is easier for me to handle with the people I trust and know personally " Nicholes told Akira.
"Chill, Nicholes it is just an exam...no need to beat yourself for it " Akira reassured Nicholes.
" *Sigh* The exam is not the thing I am worried about....it's something else..... " Nicholes told him.
"What is it? " Akira asked him.
"Nevermind...Let's concentrate on our exam first...then we will talk " Nicholes told him.
"And you say...You are not worried about exam results " Akira told him while moving back to talk with Eric.
"Eric...I need your attention.....hey hey " Akira bugged Eric.
"What is it Akira? Do you have any problems or health issues? You can apply for re-exams if you aren't feeling well in case " Eric asked worried about why Akira might have called him now.
"Let's meet up after the exams, okay...I have something planned for both of us. " Akira suggested Eric.
"Sure, I keep that in mind...See you later " Eric left.
After that, Akira left the resting hall to take his exam. He has reached the exam venue in time. Well, Akira doesn't want to be penalized for being late.
He observed various groups of students panicking, biting their nails in the anticipation of sheer exam pressure.
"Good afternoon rays of Sunshine and daises...Hope you perform this exam very well...Let's waste no time...Here begin " Professor Pom on the other hand has begun the exam by transporting them to their respective exam dungeon.

And Akira was transported into a cave-like dungeon.
Compared to the previous dungeon, this dungeon has a gap with land on the other side. There is a group of stones lying beside him. and the entire dungeon is filled with thick walls that are indestructible by fire magic. Unlike the previous dungeon, it appears that this dungeon has several rooms.
In one of the rooms there is a question Inscribed, Calculate the depth of the pit?
There is an endless pit in the gap,
"You are in dungeon level two, Layout seven-C, "A voice told me
"The exit from this dungeon lies beyond the gap. Find the door in the room using the magic type, up to your conveince. You must use magic in order to escape, failure to do so will not make you pass the exam. Good luck "The voice said
Akira this time wanted to perform exceptionally on the exam. He is so determined that he wanted to do more than just escape the dungeon.
Akira used blue magic skill [Farsight] To locate that the door is on another side of the gap he is in with a pit covered between it.
He can't use blue magic to transport out of the dungeon directly this time due to countermeasures...So he has no choice but to find an exit.
Akira on the other hand decided to check the other rooms and blocks of the dungeon before proceeding the dungeon.
Akira after searching for a short period of time found a wooden plank in one block...He took the wooden block and teleported it in a way that it formed a bridge..
Akira can use black magic to form a bridge using that rocks...But he is not confident that he can use that high leveled magic.
"Time to calculate how deep is this pit using the s=ut+1/2at^2 formula, my maths professor told..." Akira used a stopwatch to determine the depth of the pit...
Akira heard a thud at 10.96 sec...So the depth of the pit is nearly 588.595 meters besides '=' symbol... Akira scribbled that on a wall using black magic [Inscription] to write on the thick blacks the answer. The door opened to reveal a scroll signed by professor Pom.
"It says '+5 additional merits' Well done for solving the additional problem and paying attention in the class...." Akira said holding the extra scroll
"I have prepared the plank in case if my teleportation didn't work...Can't be too cautious at this rate...after my previous teleportation exit. " Akira said taking some cautious approaches.
Despite being an impulsive teen, Akira doesn't make rash decisions always.
"Concentrate on the teleporting in the exact line of the plank is in...Make sure I concentrate in the middle of the plank" Akira concentrated and used the surrounding molecules to teleport.

Akira has managed to teleport to the other side successfully...
"Phew, I made it here, with ease. Using the plank is such a waste...Either way, I should leave this dungeon " Akira said sighing.
Akira has traveled forward block by block reaching forward to find another lock that is holding him down from escaping the dungeon.
"Aww! Man. A lock really now....Why are these professors like to make student's lives miserable so much? " Akira ranted and thought about breaking the lock.
Fortunate for him a simple Black magic spell [Unlock] Has managed to open up the lock of the door...
Akira has finally left the dungeon simply after that.
<On the outside.>
"You have finally exited the dungeon, you have taken your time there," Professor Gabriel told Akira while maintaining a stoic and cold composure.
"I have liked the dungeons very well " Akira commented.
"Just because you like a trail doesn't mean you can stay there forever. I expect you to come out sooner the next time " Professor Gabriel commented.
"10 merits for escaping the dungeon " Professor Gabriel with a stoic expression.
"5 merits for finding the scroll " Professor Gabriel said in a cold serious tone. It's clear she didn't like how easy the additional trail is.
" You have very BIG expectations of me...I wonder why Gabriel " Akira used an informal tone with his usual nonchalant tone
Akira on the other hand has decided to annoy his stoic professor a bit.
"It's madam," Akira told her
"No need to call me mam. I am a boy professor....Are your eyes becoming sore with old age? " Akira said further infuriating his professor.
It's really no wonder and unusual if professor Gabriel has decided to reduce his merits and give Akira some demerits by that comment.
But on the other hand, Professor Gabriel said with a plain old smug smile on her " Careful boy, with that attitude you are not going to live in this world any longer"
"You will attract the eye of many crazy women who could gorge your eyes out and their rip your tongue out...at this rate...I really wonder how you will survive with this childish attitude of yours " Professor Gabriel gave him a smug reply.
"That childish attitude you call doesn't make me less capable as a mage at any rate...And why do you people treat energetic and easily excitable people as childish...It's just we have insane curiosity and we are far more approachable than you guys " Akira countered back.
"We will see....Mr. Ashford...I will see how long you will have that energy and that last breath of yours " Gabriel has left the scene.
