Chapter 32: 32. MYTHS ARE REAL
'So,tell me something will ya?', Hardy asked with a serious face.
'Okay. We are not normal kids', Sam said looking down. Hardy scoffed and stared at Grey.
'Well, Max is a werewolf. And I am a werewolf hunter, together with Luke and Gina', Grey said and tuts
'What happened that night, Luke?,who were you protecting?', Hardy asked and Luke sighed.
'Am not protecting. I was only covering up for him', Luke said hesitantly.
'For who?', Hardy asked and Luke went silent.
'For Daryl. He's a vampire', Gina said and stared at Daryl who nodded and his eyes became yellowish.'
'So all legends are true. All myths are actually real. Vampires do exist', Hardy said excitedly. 'Who killed those people that night?', he asked.
'They ain't people. They are bad werewolves',Daryl said and Hardy nodded. Max sneezed and sneezed then he vomited greenish substance.
'Wolfsbane!,' Max screamed and growled.
'Calm down wolf boy. It's good here', Grey said as he patted him and he calmed staring at Hardy.
'What....is...is happening here?, Max asked reluctantly.
'Its confession time bro', Sam replied and Max shook his head and held his head in his palms.
'We gat this Max. He already knows everything', Grey said.
'We need to help each other. Am sure you are after humanity as well, Max?', Hardy asked and Max nodded. 'Good, we are on same page then', He added.
'But we still have a problem', Sam murmured

'I understand you', Caitlin said and sat on the sofa.
'You know. I've been here for centuries. I still don't understand the philosophy of life. I am a vampire. A threat to humans. But I can't do without involving with humans. No matter experience I have,I am still young and naive. And am indeed young', Daryl chuckles .
'Now thatI have been discovered by another person. I really hope am not a threat to him', Daryl said melancholicly.
'You may be young or old but you are strong. What you have passed through, makes you stronger and not naive. You may make poor decisions,but you are a vampire, even you ain't perfect. You need to help your friends out. You need to find a confider,one who truly understands you', Caitlin said and smiled.
'What about you?', Daryl asked. 'You can be my confider, right', he added and smiled.
†*****†(Back in school)
'Glad to see you', Elena said as Max took her hand. He smiled and took her to a table.
'Wassup Lena', Sam asked and she nodded at him
'I'm good', she replied. They began chatting normally until Max caught a strange smell entering his nose.
'Thats new', he mumbled.
'Whats new?', Daryl asked suspiciously and looked at Sam who looked back at Daryl then Luke.
'What do you mean?',Elena asked smiling nervously.
'Oh it's nothing. Really nothing', Gina said and stood up. 'Wonna grab something at the library, will you come with me?', She asked looking at Elena.
'Oh...sure sure I will', She replied reluctantly and followed her.
'What is it?', Sam asked after they went away.
'Am having a strange scent hooked on my nose here. It's very strong scent which only meant how strong it is', Max said.
'I knew it. We can't just have a rest now. When do these stop!?', Luke asked.
'Your life changed that night you saw me too,,Luke', Max said and Luke sighed.
'We don't know yet what this thing you smelt is', Sam said. 'But I think we should set out to find it out', he added smiling but others just stared at him.
'Okay fine. We stay put', Sam added rolling his eyes and others nodded.
***†***(In the library)
Elena and Gina grabbed the books and were busy sorting them out then a dark figure appeared in the hallway leading to the library.
Everyone stared at Brye as he walked up into the Library. He walked past others and made a stop by Gina's side.
'Hello, Gina', he said as he reached her side.
'How are you doing?', he asked with a face full of grin that his chin were touching the sides of his eyes.
