Chapter 161: Burning with burdens -1

"Are you done chopping?" Kevin asked as Kyra went silent after their short conversation. She surely looked depressed about their fake breakup.

Kyra nodded and passed the bowl to him. "Is there anything else to do?" She asked as he prepared the filling for the ravioli.

"I need help in filling them." Kevin said and Kyra nodded walking to his side. She helped him mix the meat and vegetables as he prepared a thin layer of dough. 

"Diana was asking if you still wanted to go out with her." He started again and Kyra didn't like hearing about his family anymore. That would only make her wish to meet them. 

"I denied saying you were busy. So you don't need to worry about her anymore."

Oh well, she wanted to worry about her! To text her back, to meet and play with her. But he had cut all her ways of reaching them. He was clearly drawing a line and Kyra decided not to step inside it.
