Chapter 28: Catching up
"I'm Home!" Ryuu said as he entered
Kakashi ran to the door
"Ryuu, you're back!"
Sakumo was also glad to see Ryuu. It looks like they were just about to eat.
"GRRR"
Ryuu's stomach was growling. I hadn't eaten in so long.
"Glad to see you made it back safely. We were just about to have. Dinner. What took you so long?"
He curiously asked.
"Well, it's a long story I'll tell you after dinner. Said. I'm starving." Ryuu said.
They went to the dining and sat down…
After eating food, Ryuu told them about everything that had happened out on his first mission.
"What! You're lying Ryuu, there's no way you're the only one who figured it out? You right?" Kakashi asked.
"Why would I lie? Kakashi You're starting to sound like Obito. You know maybe later on you'll start helping grandmas and always being late." I nonchalantly said
"What! no, I was just joking. Come on Ryuu." Kakashi was quick to defend himself
"Haha hahaha," Ryuu burst out of laughter.
Sakumo was just smiling while washing the dishes
"How about you, Kakashi? Did something interesting happen to you while I was gone?" I asked.
He placed his finger on his chin and thought about it.
"Well, not that I could think of, maybe the fact that I'm top of the class at everything but that isn't as interesting compared to what you've done, but anyway they've said that I can graduate early too because they need more ninja for the war, I'm guessing I'll be done in a few months."
Ryuu smiled and said,
"Well, I'll be waiting. I hope we'll be on the same team. We could be unstoppable."
After Sakumo finished washing the dishes, he came back.
"months. That we should have a spar after Kakashi's graduation. I bet you'll all be capable shinobi by then, maybe you'll even be powerful enough to make me actually go serious."
Sakumo said.
"No way we'll be able to make you go serious in just a few months that's insane."
Ryuu and Kakashi said.
Sakumo just smiled and scratched his head.
"Anyway, I have to show you guys something," Ryuu said and they'll looked at him.
He opened his Sharingan and the three tomoe pattern appeared.
"See I awakened the final stage of my normal sharingan, isn't this amazing? Now I can see so much better, and my reactions are faster and soon will equal my eyes in a few months of training under Might Duy."
They were all mesmerized by Ryuu's eyes; they were also surprised to hear that he's training under Might Duy, other than being a secret master at taijutsu his other nickname was the eternal genin because he failed Most of his missions as a genin and he's never passed that level after all those years.
Sakumo was more worried about Ryuu's eyes more than who he was training with.
Later that night when everyone was asleep…

Ryuu opened the book, then he opened his Sharingan more and more pages were turning. Writings were revealing themselves, but one new chapter stood out to Ryuu "Elements."
Ryuu opened the chapter called Elements and read it.
"Ryuu, at this point you've unlocked your third tomoe Sharingan and you can read this. Please be careful with the Information you learn here. We don't want you getting. hurt anyway. Let's begin."
the next text was written differently
"This chapter was made for you and you only, no one, not Your Father or Your Mother can do the things written in this chapter. Read carefully and be careful when you practice this power.
Ryuu, you're born with all chakra nature's and that makes you special, I'm sure you're wondering how I know this but there isn't time to explain that, however, you will learn all of this after you unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan later for now just learn to control this power anyway, do these tasks."
1. Try to hold Ice for two minutes. If this fails, it can only be the second one. nevertheless, test yourself to be safe.
2. This one might hurt if it fails but anyway, BURN YOURSELF it doesn't have to be a powerful fire, just a handful.
After these two tests, chapter, you can move on to the next page ONLY if you finish these tests."
Once Ryuu was through reading that new chapter,. Why his face was pale?? That.
"I didn't expect the new chapter to be insane. Why do I have to hurt myself with all this? That new power better be worth it?"
As Ryuu put the book, he felt Kakashi's chakra near him
"You must've forgotten I'm a sensory type, eh, Kakashi? now."
He walked out of the shadows and said.
"Right, that's unfair now. I can never sneak up on you. Anyway, what new power did you get this time?" He asked.
"Well, it's not that easy now. I have to do a test to see if I've unlocked it, it's quite a bummer, oh before I forget, could you help me out tomorrow?"
Kakashi nodded.
"I have a lot of training to do tomorrow so I should get to bed, but now it will be better cause you'll be there." Kakashi left the room and Ryuu went to bed.
The next morning arrived…
Ryuu was already awake earlier than usual because he was eager and excited about the day. He has a lot of training to do and a lot of Jutsu to learn, plus new power. "shadow clone Jutsu!" He sent two clones to Sakumo's room, and he went to Kakashi's room by himself.
"Kakashi! Wake up." He yelled as he shook his arm.
"Damn it Ryuu, you don't have to yell that loud."
He groaned as he woke up and started rubbing his eyes.
"Well, room well, it's good to see that someone is ready for the day."
Sakumo said as he started making breakfast.
After waking Kakashi and Sakumo up, we went to have breakfast. It was still early, so we talked for a bit with Kakashi and Sakumo.
"So Ryuu, what's got you so excited today?" Sakumo asked.
I forgot he doesn't know much about my book or anything that has to do with it.
"I have a lot of training to do and I'm helping big brother Minato with his Jutsu, were both Jiraiya-senseis students, so it only makes sense that I help him out, plus later on I have to train with Might Duy, isn't that amazing?" Ryuu said as he smiled.
Sakumo smiled back and nodded.
"With that kind of mentality, I'm sure you'll be a great shinobi, you should try to influence Kakashi to be like that."
"Hahaha" they both laughed at him.
"Hey, I'm top of my class in everything already." He stubbornly said as he folded his arms. Ryuu and Sakumo just laughed at him.
After thirty minutes we all left, we told the father that Kakashi lost something and I'll stay back to help him find it and he just left us, after making sure he was far enough Kakashi made a shadow clone and sent it to the academy, we went to training ground three to meet up with big bro Minato.
On the way there, I remembered something.
"Kakashi, what's up with everyone staring at me since I came back from my mission?"
Kakashi looked at me, surprised, and said.
"Ryuu, you didn't know? News of your record-breaking test scores and such spread throughout the village. They're now calling you the Genius of the leaf. Surprise him. I thought you already knew."
Ryuu raised his eyebrows in surprise. He didn't think that would happen.
They talked about it while on their way and they reached their faster than they would have thought.
"It's no surprise to find her here, Kakashi Big sis kushina is here, prepare yourself for her bear hugs, you're lucky you recently saw her, otherwise they would last a millennium."
I could see cold sweat dropping from Kakashi's forehead."Gulp" I looked at him, adjusting his neck.
It looks like we're on time. Minato and Kushina are close.
