Chapter 2: Chapter 2 : Garden of Lies
"Kisei, I welcome you here."
When I looked to see the source of the voice, i saw a women lowering her head towards me, saying
..
"I'm the Goddess of this world, my name is 「Gabriel」, sorry to call you here suddenly. But i need to interfere the deal that you made with the Demon Lord."
She suddenly put her hand in front of my chest, as she began chanting I ask her
"What are you doing?"
"The Demon Lord already give small portion of his power to you. And what I try to do is to purify the power from that demon lord." She answered.

She suddenly stopped
"This... This can't be..."
"How can a demonic power canceling my holy magic? This is the highest form of holy power.... This can only be...."
She stopped chanting and still can't believe that her holy power being cancelled by my unholy power and instead becoming one with my power, Looking at this her face turned white as a snow. While she still in shocked because of what happened a rift in the sky started to crack open and sky began to fall, in the middle of it an figure started to descend.
"Oh my, oh my what do we have here! A Goddess trying to steal away my guest!"
"You... Why are you here????"
She seemed like she can't believe that the demon lord himself come to the Garden just to try to get me.
Nemesis finally landed and began walking towards both of us then looking at Gabriel and ask
"Why do you looked like you can't believe that I'm here?"
"You... Why did you decide to leave me?? I still... I...."
Gabriel started to cry and trembled. While Nemesis stopped walking an start looking at her like he have something to tell her but he still can't. He continued to walk toward me then Gabriel yelled
"Answer my question and I will not kill that boy!" She yelled while having an 3 orb of light formed at her right shoulder, left shoulder, and above her head.
"Alright I will answer your question, what do you want to ask me?" He stopped walking and look back at Gabriel
"Why do you become the vessel of demon lord? Why do you choose to abandon your place at the Paradise? You were the hero of Gods, the strongest and wisest out of all of us! Why do you choose to fight the humans?"
"After seeing human nature and character I still can't bring myself to siding with those sinners, the past demon lord didn't even have any grudges against human. He wished for peaceful world where the inhumans and humans can live together side by side. But look at what they did, they tricked the demon lord, he trusted the humans but they betray him and his followers. You should know it too, YOU also watch it together with me, after all you were the Goddess of Protection."
Gabriel looked at him, she seems like in pain after hearing his answer, then the 3 orbs in her back began to fade away, then she fell on her knees and just stare an the floor. Then look at both me and Nemesis and say
"I too... want to save them. But I'm not you, Nemesis, I have choose my faith to become one of the high God, I regret not going together with you. I only lied to myself about happy being one of the high God, but deep inside I have regret choosing to side with humans after seeing their true nature." She began to cry.

Nemesis walk towards her, kneeling and putting his hand on her shoulder.
"There's nothing you can do about the choice that you make in the past, you can only try to fix it now and prevent it from happening again."
Then he stand up and reach his hand to Gabriel while asking,
"Had i not come here myself, what are you planning to do with him?"
"I will grant him my power and will send him to that world to aid the monsters in fight againts the human, just like what you originally planned to do with him too." As she take Nemesis hand and started to stand back up.
Nemesis sighted and smiled
"Sigh, you're really stubborn and always trying your best to keep up with me huh."

In the middle of the garden, the shattered sky began to form back together, the darkness that engulfing us slowly disappeared the Garden sky now filled with star and moon that seems so close, the flower started to bloom and the lake has begin to flow once more. As I'm seeing both of them started to make up, I talked to myself
"You guys really hate humans to the point where you sacrifice yourself huh."
They're looking at each other and laugh. Nemesis continues to perform the ritual to give me his power.
"Now Kisei, we shall continue the ritual to give you my power. You will be bestowed with the power of a demon lord and shall be feared by humans wile being respected by the inhumans."
He puts his hand infront of me and purple-black aura comes out of him and not long after a bright light emerges behind him and pounces towards me, seeing that Gabriel raises her voice.
"Nemesis! You lied to me once again!"
"Sorry Gabriel after all this time I finally decided when I see this boy and meeting you, I want to take a rest knowing the fate of inhumans will be save in Kisei hand and seeing you doing well and save really ease my heart."
Nemesis smiled and his body started to crumbled.
Seeing that Gabriel then began chanting what seemed like the same spell that Nemesis chant before.
"This time I won't regret my decision."
"You really an handful you know!" He replied with smile
As I watched both of them slowly disappeared. I reached my hands towards them while calling their name.
"NEMESIS, GABRIEL"
"Don't worry Kisei we will always be by your side." He replied
"We only leave our mortal body and we will always be with you and guide you when you need it." She adds.

After hearing both of them giving their answer, I wipe of the tears that almost come out and giving them a strong replies.
"Alright then, just you wait both of you, I will definetly make a world that we all wished for!"
My consciousness started to leave me, but before closing my eyes I see both of them smiled happily, i fall and everything become completely dark.

In the darkness 2 windows pop up, one is saying 「Recognition of the Demon Lord has been acknowledge. Performing "Metamorphosis" on the subject」, while the other one says 「The sacrament of the high God has been achieved, Starting the Ceremony of Ascended」
