I live in the old northern dormitory besides myself there are five others who stay here. There's supposed to be ten of us but when two of our brothers died on a mission the weakest on our team dropped out. He said if they couldn't survive how could he, in a sense he was right he would've gotten himself killed. He isn't cut out for stealth missions let alone battle, his prowess and conviction are too fragile compared to the rest of us. I think he made the right decision quitting.
As for our fourth missing member he graduated a couple months ago, he was the strongest amongst us. We haven't heard from him recently but I believe he went back home and joined the force. Hopefully he's doing well I don't wanna hear news that another one of my brothers have fallen.
As for the people that are currently staying here there's Shinya the Lion, Akira the Crow, Oda the Snake, Akita the Fox, and my brother Jack the Wolf. My brother and I were sent here to First Academy as foreign exchange students we're supposed to obtain a multitude of knowledge, gain connections, and discover and hone our skills in order to strengthen our kingdom's militaristic power. Father said it was our duty as royals and we should feel honored to have this opportunity. Though knowing that my father just wants to use us as pawns till my brother or I am crowned doesn't give the feeling of honor, instead I feel pressured and trapped. That's why I'm going to leave this school and travel the world, I'm going to learn my way not father's.
Pulling open my bedroom door I see a dog sitting at my desk looking out the window before turning towards me.
"Hey little lamb, ya miss me?" Pause. This is my sadistic, carefree, knuckleheaded brother Jack Hound. He's a tall man with a slim but sturdy build, he's got black hair that reaches his ears and crystal blue eyes, the ladies here go crazy for him. With our brother Garic the Bear graduated Jack is now the strongest here at the Academy and so at the request of my beloved teacher he will be joining me in my journey. Resume.
"Not really, you were only gone a week."
"Awn, come on how could you not miss your one and only big brother?" He asked his bottoms lip poking out in playful contempt. I don't know why he acts like this with me.
"What are you doing here Jack?" I question ignoring his last comment.
"I just returned from my mission and wanted to see my adorable little sister." He says in a cheeky voice twirling around my room before falling a top my bed.
"So what was your mission?" I inquire.
As he's about to answer someone Burt's through the door.
"Where's Jack!?" A masculine voice shouts.
We both look to see who just barged into my room and there standing in the doorway all disheveled is Sid. Pause. This is our guardian Sidney Hatchet, he isn't too fond of his names, says it's too feminine so everyone just calls him Sid. He was sent here to monitor and aid us. He has white slicked back hair with bangs that fall over the left side of his face hiding one of his jade green eyes. He's slender and pretty tall standing around 5'11 although he's shorter than Jack. He loved to nah especially Jack but I think it's because Jack's really easy going and Sid secretly wants him to be king. That's probably why he easily agreed to let me go on my trip and why he's so adamant on Jack staying. Resume.
"Oops gotta go, looks like he found me. Bye bye little lamb!" He says playfully as he quickly opens my window and jumps.
"Stop! You haven't written your report yet! Damn it." Sid hollers before dashing back out the way he came.
Guess Jack's running from responsibilities again, I don't know why Sid even bothers to try we've been here a year and nothings changed.
I close my door behind him then begin to pack for tomorrow.
