Chapter 1: Prologue(Revised)
In the level 200+ area there were 3 people standing on the opposite side of a single person. The person who seemed to be almost friend zoned looked at the other 3. The 3 people consisted of 1 saint, 1 paladin, and finally 1 warrior. The introverted person's class was called 'Void Regent'. They each looked at each other before the introvert whose name was Adam started speaking.
"I can't believe you guys would do this for your own selfish desires. What happened to us, we were supposed to stick together," Adam said.
The paladin spoke, "Well, you shouldn't have accepted the quest then."
The saint spoke next, "If you had shared the quest with us, this never would have happened. You were the selfish one, not us."
The warrior added, "Just give us the quest and the items you got from the quest, you know that stalling for time isn't going to help."
"Hmph, you wish. Me, the selfish one? You guys broke my trust, I got the quest by myself," Adam said.
The 3 people were dumbfounded but they quickly recovered their composure.
Adam scoffed, "You think I would trust you guys? I knew from the start you guys weren't real friends. Fake, just like everyone else, you guys only care about profit. I'm not going to give this quest to you, try to get it if you can..that is if you can."
Adam put the quest and armor inside his inventory, he then wore his old level 230 equipment: the 'Nexus' set. He got this by contributing the most to the World Boss: Berlin.
"I won't lose to the likes of you, did you forget how high my sync rate can go up to?"
Adam tapped the off button to turn off the limit for his sync rate.
[WARNING! WARNING! HOST MENTAL HEALTH ISN'T STABLE CURRENTLY, PREPARING MANUAL EJECTION FROM THE GAME!]
[ERROR! ERROR! EJECTION NOT POSSIBLE! LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE! ALTERNATIVE NOT FOUND]
[WARNING! PLEASE LIMIT THE SYNC RATE AS WE GET A FIX!]
Adam was surprised to see such a message from the system. He looked back at his friends and gave them a death stare.
"You guys poisoned my food when we went out to eat didn't you guys. Must've been a expensive poison to go undetected, you guys really want me dead?"
The woman laughed, "Bingo! You got the answer correct, my relatives are part of a relatively big underground syndicate. They supplied me with this after I told them your name. You're extremely famous, you know that?"
"Haha, I'm pleased for such a compliment, but I won't give up so easily. If I'm going to die, I might as well take a level off you guys and your precious equipment!"
Adam stopped talking and switched off the limit to his sync rate even with the constant warnings the system told him. He looked at his sync rate:

This was the reason why he was famous, he was one of those people with an extremely high sync rate, he was in the top 10 leaderboard of having the highest sync rate, he was rated 4th.
Adam charged towards the saint as he knew she was the weakest, while she was still shocked and distracted by his sudden attack he stabbed her torso and cut off her arms.

In 'Aspect Explorer' the characters and all monsters had 'weak' spots, hitting those weak spots grant stun and critical hits towards your enemy. Since magic users were the weakest of classes, Adam dealt almost 75% of her hp. Since she was now stunned for 3 seconds, Adam quickly rushed to her and sliced her head off..cleanly.
"1 down, 2 more to go." Before Adam could say something again, he felt his chest burn.
[HOST IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION! THE SYSTEM HAS CALLED FOR THE NEAREST AMBULANCE! EXPECTED TIME TILL ARRIVAL: 5 minutes]
Adam could feel the pain in his chest but he still held on, he still had to get revenge on these bastards.
The warrior Kenad laughed at him, "I praise you for getting rid of Arina, she was quite an annoying bitch. However, looking at your condition..you probably won't survive the chain attack me and Felix are planning. Just give up and give us the quest and equipment."
Yes, Adam sneakily took out the items from his inventory and threw the quest items away a split second when they were talking to each other. A clever plan.
Adam laughed, "HAHAHA! I guess you didn't see me throw away those important items, if I can't have them, NO ONE CAN."
Kenad and Felix were shocked, "You-You're lying...we were looking at you and never saw you throw them away.
Adam replied not caring, "Of course you didn't, I threw them away the moment you guys weren't looking."
Adam who realized that there wasn't much time left for him quickly rushed up and stabbed the still confused Felix and stabbed his sword deep into his stomach.

Adam activated the buff before he attacked Felix, it granted him 100% damage for 7 seconds, immunity for 6 seconds, and added 69% critical chance. He used it because he knew Kenad was the most cunning and decided to kill the stupid Felix. Adam kept attacking Felix until he died, he still had 3 seconds left, Adam then launched himself at Kenad.
