Chapter 21: 4 - Part E:
Once again, I soar through the stage like a maglev train.
I ignore the repairbots and dummybots and make way towards the other goal which is where the maidbot is.
While I was nearing the wall where the others past through earlier, I adjusted the angle of my hands making me fly over it.
When I was almost near the maidbot, I stop the nitro oxide booster, took out the knife that was hanging on my left thigh and turn it on.
A greenish blue short plasma blade appeared at the top end of the handle.
As I'm almost near her, I pointed the knife with my right hand forward aiming for her chest.
The maidbot suddenly puts up a fighting stance while making a posture that says bring it on.
Bam*
I crashed into her but before I was able to stab her, she moves my right hand away with her left hand and executes a forward push with her right palm on my chin making me drop the knife and fall backwards.
Strangely it wasn't painful as I thought.
I slowly got up and regain my composure.
Suddenly I noticed a holographic screen with a circular gauge that was slightly reduced to 93%.
Suddenly I heard uncle Huck's voice through the speakers.
"Ehem! I forgot to mention that if your barriers life gauge reaches 0, you lose."
Now he tells me!
I need to think something quick for me not to get hit by that maidbot.
Sadly I don't know how to do long range Atomic Synthesis except for fire ball which is quite slow compared to those fire bolts my classmates do.
I know! I'll use the gun that I took earlier.
I took the gun that was hanging on my left hip and point it towards the maidbot.

And nothing...
"Linel! The safety! Turn off the safety!"
Oh yeah! The safety!
That must be my firearms instructor.
I turned the safety off and tried again.

And she dodges my shot like it was nothing.
Again!

I threw the gun on the floor and decided to go on a fist fight with Atomic Synthesis.
I made a forward dash and executed a compressed air punch.
Since I did that suddenly, the maidbot didn't have time to dodge it and decides to block it with her arms sticking together while covering her stomach.
Pak* Woooosh* Thud*
Although I wasn't able to pass through her defense, I was able to send her flying backwards and fall towards the ground.
The barriers life gauge suddenly appears on front of her. I couldn't see what it says, but I'm pretty sure I was able to damage it.
After that, she gets up and rushes towards me.
We end up exchanging blows.
I execute a chop with my right hand with electricity and she successfully blocks it with her left arm.
Her barrier got slightly damage due to the electric shock.
She executes a right straight, and I blocked it by swaying it of with my left hand but I got hit by my right sides when she suddenly kicks me with her left leg.
My barrier was reduced to 85%.
I made other attacks using electricity and was able damage her barrier bit by bit.
As for her, she made a lot of feints with a follow up attack which I couldn't block and was able to damage my barrier as well.
Cheers and screams of excitement were being heard from the audience due to the intense fight we were having.
My barrier was down to 43% and we both leap backwards at the same time to give us both some space.
I quickly glance towards the timer, and I only have two minutes and nineteen seconds left.
I didn't know she was hard to beat.
I decide to end this quickly by catching her off guard with my compressed air punch.
Like what I did to her right straight earlier, she sways it off with her left hand and grabs my arm at the same time.
Looks like the same trick won't work twice on her.
I should've known. After she grabbed my arm, she stomps on my left foot, lock the other arm with her left hand and locks my other leg with her left leg.
She executes a headbutt.
Bam* Bam* Bam*
She does that repeatedly and both our barrier's gauge decreases rapidly.
She had the upper hand since her gauge was higher than mine.
This is bad! Few more hits from her and I lose.
"Get off me!"
As I screamed from the top off my lungs while synthesizing electricity that covers my whole body.
She quickly released me and took a few steps back.
I didn't miss this chance and grab her face with my right hand.
She got startled by that and was trying break free from my grip.
I quickly gather flammable gases like nitrogen, oxygen and helium.
I vibrated the molecules violently.
"Gotcha!"
I said while grinning.
Boooooom*
An explosion came out of my hand and incinerates her head.
Suddenly I saw fragments similar to shattered glass appeared on her whole body and quickly disperses into the air.
Tooooooot*
I was able to defeat her and the timer stopped in four minutes and fifty-nine seconds.
That was a close call. Claps, screams and cheers were heard from the audience that slowly fades away as I left the stadium.
I'm so exhausted! After I had taken a quick shower and change back into my normal uniform, I went back to my room to take a quick nap before dinner.

In the principal's office, former general Ray Gunn (the principal of the school and Linel's grand father) is on his usual chair while being served tea by the head maidbot Louise.
"Louise!"
The principal said with full of authority.
"What is it master?"
Louise answered.
"What do you think of my grandson's skills?"
"As for as my processor can calculate, he has a lot of things to learn."
"Is that the reason why you went easy on him?"
"If you meant not fighting him seriously than yes master."
Louise said without and puts a cup of tea on the principals desk.
The principal takes the cup and have a sip of the tea.
"Slurp* I see..."

While I was lying down on my bed about to fall asleep...
Ding dong* Ding dong*
I heard a door bell ringing that was coming from my door.
I didn't know this room had a door bell. I decided to ignore it.
Ding dong* Ding dong*
Still ignoring it.

So freaking annoying!
I opened the door while feeling annoyed and found out who the pest is.
It was my classmates.
"Yo big shot!"
Lokki said while entering my room without permission.
He drops the plastic bag full of who knows what on my desk.
"Hey man!"
Roc enters my room without permission as well and drops off another plastic bag full of who knows what on my desk.
"Dude!"
Zack greeted and enters my room without permission.
"Pardon me!"
Mathias said like a gentleman while entering my room without permission as well.
He drops off a bulky looking paper bag on my desk.
"Make way! Make way!"
Maple said while entering without permission.
She drops off a suspicious looking briefcase beside my desk.
"..."
Kana didn't say anything and enters as well. She sits on my bed, takes out a net book and fidgets with it.
She sure making herself feel at home huh.
"E-excuse me..."
Ace said while entering my room looking all flustered.
She rearranges the stuff on my desk while dropping off a white medium sized box.
Looks like the after effect on what I did to her during Melee training hasn't worn off yet.
"Here!"
Wren said in a somewhat angry manner while shoving a bulky looking paper bag on me.
She enters my room without permission as well.
"I'm sorry for the intrusion Linel. May I enter your room as well?"
Aeris asked in a polite manner.
Since she was the only one who asked permission on top of that nicely, I let her in.
"Go right ahead."
"Thank you so much for the hospitality."
She said politely while entering my room.
She drops off a huge lunch box beside the briefcase since there's no more space on the desk.
As everyone was inside, I closed the door and ask a question that I've been wanting to ask them.
"So what are you guys all doing here and what's with all the stuff?"
"We're throwing you a welcome party man!"
Roc answered like he was stating the obvious.
"Yeah and the stuff that we all brought are food that came from the convenient store."
Lokki said like he was stating the obvious.
"So the convenience store sells briefcases with food inside?"
I asked sarcastically while looking at the suspicious briefcase.
"Oh that? Show him Maple!"
"Aye! Aye! Captain!"
Lokki commanded Maple and she saluted.
She brings the briefcase on front of me and shows me the contents. Inside the briefcase was a game console and a Holoscreen (hologram screen).
"Behold! The Play Session 2000!"
Lokki said and I wasn't impressed by it.
Lokki continues talking.
"Hey! What's with that reaction? Your suppose to be impressed while saying "Oh my god!" after seeing this!"
As if I'll say that.
I have three of those back home and I rarely touch it mainly because Gray, Brea and Luna monopolize it.
"I have three of those back home."
I said to Lokki.
"Seriously? You must be freaking rich if you can afford three of this!"
Lokki said while looking surprised.
"Yeah sort of..."
I respond casually.
Kana who has been silent for awhile joins in the conversation.
"Linel Silvercrest, the youngest son of the Silvercrest family who owns the company Silvertech. Age: 15, birthday: 4th day of the 11th month, height: 166 cm, weight: 43 kg, siblings: Gray Silvercrest, Brea Silvercrest and Luna Silvercrest the intergalactic idol, likes: Retro games and movies, dislikes: green leafy vegetables and his sister Luna, reason why his here: He has been expelled from three different schools due to violence. I had interrupted Kana before she finished her detail explanation of me.
"Where the hell did you get all this information from?"
I demanded an explanation.
"That's a secret."
Kana answered while fixing her glasses in place.
After that she continues fidgeting with her net book.
"Seriously?! You got ex-"
Lokki was interrupted by Aeris and was push over by her. I didn't expect her to do that.
"You're the twin brother of Luna??"
Aeris asked while giving me a surprised look while her eyes were glittering.
"Uh yeah..."
I answered.
She starts bombarding me with questions.
"What is she like at home? What was she like before she became and idol? What was she-"
"Aeris!"
Ace shouted sternly while tapping on her shoulder and Aeris looks at her.
"Let's start with the welcome party."
Ace successfully brought Aeris back to normal.
"I'm so sorry for my unusual behavior! I just get so worked up every time I hear something related to Luna."
Aeris said all flustered while bowing.
"Uh yeah... Sure thing..."
As I said that, she lifts up her head.
"Can you please give me her phone number or her email or her Discord username or her-"
"Aeris!"
Once again Ace pulls Aeris back to reality.
"S-sorry..."
Aeris apologizes again while looking flustered.
She must be a hardcore fan of Luna.
The others didn't give much reaction about Luna rather they gave a reaction about me getting expelled three times.
Must be a lot of students here that have relatives from the celebrity world.
Aeris regain her composure.
"Everyone on a count of three."
As Aeris said that, everyone started facing me.
Aeris makes a count down.
"One... Two... Three!"
After the countdown, everyone shouts in unison.
"WELCOME TO SILVER WING ACADEMY!!"
