Chapter 2: The beginning of an adventure

Arnold has just arrived at shell town. He was walking through the streets of Shells town, hungry and tired, when he heard sounds of guns being fired.
'Gunshots?' Arnold thought.
He made his way through the town and arrived at where the sound seemed to come from. He saw a boy wearing a straw hat blocking bullets from hitting a young pink-haired boy and a green-haired-man tied up to a pole.
What he saw next surprised him. The bullets had bounced back after they hit the Smiling boy's body.
"Bullets can't Hurt me!!" The bot wearing the straw hat said.
Naturally, people were shocked.
"What are you?!" The Green haired man asked.
'Devil fruit user in the east blue? How rare.' Arnold thought to himself as he slowly crept towards them.
It seemed like the straw hat and his friends were the 'good' ones here while the Marines seemed to be the 'bad' ones. The Marines of Justice are now acting the same as the evil pirates they hate. Of course, that is to be expected, judging from his own experience.
'Should I help them?'
If he helped the boy, he could have marines chasing him, just like the old days. He did not want that. One the other hand, the Marines have the Axe-Hand Morgan as their leader. Morgan was known for his cruelty towards other people. That meant that Marines were the bad guys here, and mom always said to not help the bad guys. That will make you bad as well.
(Author's Note: If you find his thinking to be simple and stupid, it's because he wasn't properly educated in some common sense. You'll learn why later in the story why he isn't that much educated.)
"If bullets can't hurt him, then use your swords!" The Marine captain 'Axe-Hand' Morgan shouted.
The Marines charged forward to attack. However, they were blocked by the green swordsman. He was using 3 swords, and this was East-Blue, which meant... He was the infamous Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro.
"The first one who moves... Dies." Zoro threatened.
While the Marines were too scared to move, the Straw hat boy knocked those Marines by stretching and then swinging his legs towards them.
Larger number of Marines now surrounded both of the pirates, prepared to attack.
However they were cut short by a blue haired teen jumping in their way. In just 10 seconds, Arnold spin-kicked them so hard that the Marines flew back and hit the wall, and when they did, the impact made cracks appear on it.
"H-He's so fast!" The Marines despaired.
"Huh?! That was so cool!! Who are you?!" The Straw-Hat boy asked Arnold.
"... I've come to help you. I hate Marines." Arnold responded.
"You're gonna help us? That means you'll become my crewmate, right?!"
"What kind of logic is that?" Arnold questioned.
Arnold never knew offering help means becoming people's crewmate. He'll have to remember that for the future.
