Chapter 6: Divine Healer?

[Salah Pov]

standing in front of the vice-captain Morthil. I am glad that he shows no hostility towards me and seems to respect me. of course, there was curiosity and caution.

but thinking about if I should reply with my name or if I should use a new one after all my old name was of a different world and life.

Salah: 'should I pick a new name' making up his mind I reply.

"my name is Salah Eldeen and I am a healer"

[Morthil Pov]

'Salah Eldeen, a strange name never heard of him or his house and it's not elven. but his power and pet is out of the question'

it must be cleared now that the Mc Looks, gear, and outfit is like the cover pic but with golden hair so Morthil can't make out all his features but due to the beauty, power, and pet he thinks Salah is an elf. not to mention this being elven Lands.

I ask: "It's an honor my Lord but may I ask what brings you to Galora's Forst"

Salah: " I am traveling the land and as I was traveling I sensed the Orcs and overheard the conversation between you and their leader so I decided to help"

after he said that and before I ask any more questions. my men came with the other 10 elves but out of the 14, 8 were being assisted by the other with lighter injures to come here. some even had missing limbs and rage in my heart only grow.

'they ate parts of my men those beasts, my men will live crippled for the rest of their lives because those brutes were hungry'

[Salah POV]

I can see that the elves truly suffered under the orcs. 6 of the ten suffered cuts and slashes deep, while the other 4 had missing limbs, 3 lost arms, and the last one lost a leg.

and the expressions on Morthil face says a lot and him holding his fist and looking towards the daying orcs in the back seems to give him some closer but his eyes on the elves with lost limbs so deep sadness and guilt

I approach the coming injured as it's already hard for them to come all this way had I known it was this much I would have gone to them.

I wave my hand to them telling them " Hold no need to walk more lay them down on these" I summon 4 clean camping beds from my inventory.

they do as I say and I head toward them while casting Judgment first on the other 6 finding them clean I use Heal with enough power into it to fix all their injuries.

they seem shocked at what I did but I didn't care for that and went for the ones with no arms first.

I cast judgment and a diagnosis spell to see the extent of their injuries. after they come clean I go through the diagnosis and find the four of them are suffering from blood poisoning as they only used parts of their cloth to stop the bleeding and also from severe blood loss especially the one with the lost leg.

all four are at death door, restoring limps isn't as simple as in-game you need to rebuild nerves, blood vessels, bones, and muscles. while I mastered the power in my mindscape this was the first time someone's life was really in danger. So I take my time with it.

I go from one to one and use pain relief spells and start reconstructing each one's arm. and after restoring it I use a blood replenishing spell and normal heal to restore stamina.

then I head for the leg one and do the same he needed a little more work as the leg is more complex.

[3d POV]

as Salah was restoring the lost limbs he didn't notice that literally, the other elves took a step back when the first arm was restored and the look of disbelief was all over their faces.

and the thoughts going through their mind were disbelief and astonishment at how was this possible and the reason for that is this world magic was advanced that is true and the healing, water, and earth magic is where most elves stood above all the other races.

but restoring a severed body part was deemed impossible reattaching a body part was possible but only for the strongest and most elite healers. for thousands of years, many tried to restore body parts but never succeeded and most subjects died so it was forbidden to even try.

[Salah POV]

after finishing the last patient I turn around and is shocked with all the elves including Morthil was on one knee with their heads low.

Morthil : " My lord forgive our shortcomings it's an honor to be in the presence of a Divine Healer, and I offer my personal most gratitude for helping my men"

I am overwhelmed by the situation ,the Divine Healer title but also happy that I was able to do this and help them I remember the patients who lost limbs in my other life and me having to console them and lie and tell them it's going to be okay and the prosthetic limb will be like a real one and they won't feel the difference.

I was just about to replay when both the elves I healed stood and checked their limbs with disbelief of their face and then did as their fellows did and kneeled and bowed even lower and started thanking me.

[3rd POV]

further from Salah and the elves where the Orc massacre was happening only the Orc leader and his wolf was what is left of the 44 Orc.

said Orc was only alive because Salah asked Rex to spare him and the Orc seeing the situation he is in and looking at Salah and the Elves decided on a final attack where he throws his axe towards Rex and while Rex dodged. he rode his wolf and headed towards Salah as a final struggle to capture him and use him against Rex as no pet will attack with his master life in danger.

as the elves stand up they see the Orc heading with Rex already starting to dash towards him. and in show of agility all the elves who are fully healthy now move to intercept.
