Chapter 4: Roulette
We come to view a dark expanse that seems never ending and seemingly bottomless. Upon closer inspection there was a giant wheel with so many pictures of entities slowly bobbing in place. Next to the wheel we see to men with drastic differences, a tentacle headed man and a human shape figure. After looking at the wheel for a bit the human shaped figure Garrett asks "so how does the wheel work? Will it be animals or something like a familiar?" 'I hope it's nothing that can kill me' he thought.
After taking a second to respond, Antioch answers "The wheel will be a mix of male, female, and animals. Depending on the character, you will have to choose the relationship yourself. For example, if you were to get naruto as a companion, you would have to choose to be friend, foe, or even more when you are reborn. You would go to this universes version of naruto and work towards what you want out of the companionship. You will have a weak soul connection that upon building further through interaction, grows stronger allowing you to develope more towards the most ideal relationship possible with the person you are connected to. All you have to do is spin the wheel by touching it, it will take into account your base personality and desires to match with a compatible person or animal. Now go ahead and touch the wheel and it will do all the work." he finished nonchalantly.
Hesitating for a second Garrett steps forward and touches the bottom of the wheel. Immediately wheel spins so fast that he loses track of the pictures, only being able to see a couple of pictures. He was terrified as he instantly spotted a picture of the great ones from bloodbourne on it. 'Please don't make my companion something so terrifying!!' he thought. After minutes of spinning causing him to become more and more anxious, the wheel finally stopped. Garrett's pupils dilated as he sees his companions Visage.
"YESSSSSSS" Garrett jumps in the air as he screams. He had pulled Usagiyama Rumi aka. Pro Hero Miruko. He wasn't only happy because of the dark skinned beauty as a partner but also because the world he will be going to is not bad at all! He had watched the show and read enough fanfiction and manga to understand the boundaries of that world. If he could get strong quick enough he would be able to laze around whenever he wanted. He didn't plan on becoming a hero but he could live a luxurious life if he played his cards right. After calming down, He had a question. "Im insanely happy but how was she an option? She has a go-getter attitude and I'm lazy, she's also all about fighting and getting stronger while I'm somewhat unmotivated."
Taking a second to ponder the correct way to explain it, Antioch answers back. "It's exactly because of this seemingly opposite personality that you would work well together. While she is outgoing and extroverted, you are laid back and calm until provoked. She is fire and you are water. She would take charge immediately, as she should, and you would follow until something major happens causing the roles to be flipped as you would stop being lazy and become motivated. You however are smart-lazy and ruthless with your advantages. This would allow you to take the pressure off of her when she needs it, letting you each progress and rest at the same time. It is truly opposites attract in this case."
Taking a second to think through the answer he was given, Garrett finally responds. "I think I understand. Thank you for answering my questions. After you build the blueprint for me, can you explain the soul crystals before you send me off?"
