Chapter 46: Class A's File [2]
Just as like a wind that pass by, the rumors that circulated about Remus, Dylan and Xavier died two days after. None of the students even remember it, it was a hot topic for a day but died out like a blown candle light.
Luna on the other hand was still able to remember all of it, it seems as though the hypnotism of Xavier didn't work on her, or rather the Deities didn't let her get affected by a mere hypnotism. She knew that it was only her who remembers it for when she asked Remus about it, he only looked at her with bewilderment. Xavier also seem to have made himself forget of the incident. Perhaps he was still embarassed despite hypnotizing everyone.
It had already been a week since then.
"That is all for today, dismissed."
The lunch bell rang at the exact cue of the substitute teacher; Gillian, dismissing the class.
Everyone headed out as the room was filled with echoing chatters of the students, as they all head to the cafeteria. Meanwhile, Luna's group headed to their usual spot.
As they match their way into the cherry blossom tree, Luna couldn't help but to glance back over and over to Remus and Rei who was next to her. They were chatting like normal, there was a bit of an arguing going on as usual. Her gaze then fall into Xavier who was quiet, like he is most of the time, playing with his phone.
'Ho-ho, romance is in the air, finally!' Aella exclaimed. 'You also should also start your romance journey host.'
'Uhh, I think that can wait.' Luna answered.
Luna think that starting the 'real' Otome Game at the moment doesn't quite feel alright. After all, she hasn't found the traitor yet, but well, the task didn't have a time limit. She could still take it slowly.
'What?! No way, what's the point of you being Luna in an Otome Game if there's no romance to the main character?! Unacceptable!'
Luna began to roll her eyes at what Aella kept on uttering and soon just decided to ignore her words. Does it seem easy to start a romance with someone who is a guy and a guy who just magically occupied a woman's body? No!
This has to really be the worst nightmare Dizian have; but instead of a nightmare, it's basically his reality as of the moment.
Luna watched as the others was chattering with each other. She honestly was feeling out of place, even before. Well, she's technically an outsider who just got dragged in this world.
Her steps were getting slower and slower to the point that she was behind all of them. Luna walked very slowly creating a distance with her 'friends'— not that the others realized it as they kept on doing whatever they were doing.
"You're being quite reserved."
"!!!"
A cold chilly tone voice sent shivers down to Luna as she whip her head back to see the plain stoic face of Shiki looking at her. She was almost quite relieved to know who it is, yet at the same time not.
"Coming from you." She retorted.
Luna continued to follow the others, but for some reason, Shiki was keeping up with her pace, eventually making them two to be left behind— oh, no, four of them. Together with the two beast on Luna's side.
Luna halted and so did Shiki, when she continued so did he, she repeatedly a halt and go pattern. Seeing Shiki copy her, it made Luna bewildered.
"Uh, what are you doing?" She finally halted for real and turn around.
"...."
Shiki didn't answer.
"You do know you can walk pass me, why the hell are you keeping up with my pace?"
They were already at the oval when Luna halted. She glance back to the other and saw that they still continued walking. That's alot better than them seeing her and Shiki like this.
"You're being weird." She remarked.
'Agapius, this ain't a bug, is it?'
'Hmm? Ah, no. Not at all. You're being so dramatic, just go along with him!' He exclaimed.
'Right? This must be a sign!' Aella squealed.
Haaaaa.....
Luna sighed as she shook her head, pinching her nose bridge and glance up to Shiki who was looking elsewhere, specifically upfront. It was as if he was watching whether the others had already left. She soon flinch when he gaze down upon her, then glance back.
'What the hell is he up to?'
All of a sudden, Shiki leaned in to her making her stiff. She furrowed her brows, uncomfortable on what to do. She soon felt one of her earplug being taken off by him, and when she had realized it, she immediately pushed him and backs away, snatching her earpiece back.
There was no trace of remorse or any expression onto Shiki's face, rather than commenting onto Luna's sudden action, all he did was say;
"You do know you're being watched by that stalker of yours."

"What....—!!!"
Luna whip her head to her left, hearing a familiar creepy footstep and voice. Now that one of her earpiece was taken off, she could hear it, the faint cursing of someone near one of the cemented tree.
She doesn't even need to browse through people on who it could be, who else would be stalking her in the broad daylight other than Dion.
Since he's a student council; the president at best, perhaps patrolling is just one of his excuse on stalking her. He really gives her the hibby jibbies.
'Ugh, him again. He's becoming more and more bolder than a month ago, what a creep.' Luna scrunch her nose as she spotted Dion sitting behind the cemented tree, acting all innocent with a clipboard on her hand.
She looked back at Shiki who was still indifferent. That still doesn't explain onto why he's accompanying her, or more like being stubborn on her. If Dion were to do anything, she could always blast some magic; specially that ancient magic she learned that she was supposed to present a week ago.
"If you're, well, concerned about my well being, don't. I'm not really happy about knowing that."
"...I think you're the weird one."
"You know what? I'm not actually even hungry anymore. If you go to the others tell them I'm gonna go to the clinic, alright? Bye!"
Luna Pat Shiki in the arm as she run back to the academy's premises and went to the clinic, but what she didn't expect was that he followed her.
"Why the hell are you following me?!" Luna exclaimed running in the halls with Shiki behind him, chasing her.
But as expected, Shiki didn't answer. "You're really being creepy, you know!"

When she sprinted, Shiki was all of a sudden in front of her, arms wide open as if he was ready for the impact that was gonna happen.
Luna's shoes screeched on the floor as she tried to slow down but tripped and eventually fell face flat on the floor.
She soon got up, rubbing her red nose and forehead, 'God, that hurts.'
A hand was extended in front of her, she glance up to see Shiki reaching his hands. Luna furrowed, ignoring Shiki's hand and helped herself up with a grunt.
Luna scanned her surrounding realizing that the two Deities ditched her.
"You!" She aggressively yelled. "What exactly do you want with me?!"
"...."
Nothing. Shiki only stared at her indifferently, their eyes locked upon each other as if doing a staring contest.
"What are you kids doing in the middle of the halls?"
Shiki and Luna looked behind to see Gillian, holding a stack of papers, a files rather.
"Ms. Gillian!" Exclaimed Luna as she soon approached her past examiner slash doctor, greeting her.
Gillian didn't hesitate to give the files to Luna who got confused by what she just did. Before Luna could even open her mouth to ask unto why Gillian gave her the files, Gillian initiated.
"Those are your class files, feel free to look into it."
"... Isn't that something you shouldn't be permitting us to read?" Shiki implored.
"Well, it wouldn't hurt, besides it's just you two. I'm sure you'll kept quiet about whatever you'll be reading."
Gillian was convinced that the two students wouldn't dare to say anything to anyone, if she were to describe them, they're more likely to be the most reserved people among the class. She never saw them talk nor has interacted in the classroom despite them being seat mate.
Although, it did shock her to see them together, not to mention was interactive with each other. They were pretty low-key talking.
"Are you two..." she trailed off staring immensely at the two reading one files at the time as she caught their attention "...No, it's nothing. Do your own thing."
The two seem to have been confused by Gillian, but eventually just went back on to reading the files.
Gillian doesn't want to word it out loud what she was about to say, it was just an assumption she have thought of in a whim, but she's quite curious.
'Are they low-key dating?' is what she thought. It was a pretty absurd thought, she know.
But she had seen similar scene when she was still a student; two classmates who are desk mate and doesn't bother talking to each other, but was actually dating and had gotten married over the years.
Ah.
Gillian glance upon Shiki, and immediately realized that he was their son. Thinking back about it made her realized, how old she is right now. To think her classmates' child is an adult now while she was still unmarried. How much can her life be sadder. She doesn't even have a staring history with anymore.
'He look exactly like a mix of them.'
Blue hair and blue eyes, he got both of them from his parents. His mother's blue hair and his father's blue eyes, he was the perfect mix of the two. In a certain angle he looks like his father and on some he looks like her mother.
Perhaps, if his eyes wasn't covered, he'll more likely resemble his mother more.
"Ah, it's me."
Gillian's train of thoughts was disturbed when Luna finally spoke. Holding a file which seems likely to be hers. Her eyes was screaming in excitement, which bewildered Gillian. It was as if she's looking at someone else's information.
"Follow me, I don't want anyone to see you two reading those in the halls. As Shiki said, it's something that isn't permitted for you two to read."
