Chapter 14: Old habits die hard

...Vishal's pov:
"Viv wake up VIV!! VIVEK WAKE UP YOU OR I'LL STUFF YOU IN A BODY BAG!!" I screamed shaking my twin brother awake violently, he always sleeps like he's dead,
"what the hell are you doing in my Rooooom Vish-bish?! leave me aloooone! I deserve my beauty sleep!" Vivek whined rolling himself in the bedsheets for protection,
"we're late! we're supposed to wake up before our guests!! Videl is gonna eat us fajitas if we don't set the table ready for breakfast right now!!" I said grabbing him from the bed sheets, this startled him enough and he fell off his bed,
finally giving up, Vivek stood up from the floor glaring at me with dark circles under his eyes
" this world is unfair and you my twins sister are my biggest Enemy!...I Will take a nap in the afternoon even if this place is set on fire!" He spoke dramatically, Vivek has always been like this,
" yeah yeah Drama queen... just go take a shower quickly I'll be down waiting for you! and you Betta not go back to sleep!" Warning him I started walking outside his room and to the dining room to set the table,
our guests Mr Leon, Miss Aleeza and Alex were chatting in the living room, I made it to the kitchen, the smell of food greeted me at the door,
today was special because Both Victor and Videl are cooking breakfast, they usually never meet up in the kitchen due to creative differences And their cuisine styles,
usually when we have guests they cook something other than typical stuff for breakfast,
Videl loves Mexican cuisine, tacos, fajitas, Spicy Chicken Taquitos and her favorite for breakfast which she's making for everyone right now,
Migas!
Made with scrambled eggs, tortilla, pico de gallo, and melted cheese, Migas is fitting for any time and when Videl makes it, it's perfect!
"Make sure to put plates for everyone We are also joining our guests at the table!" Videl told me as she was busy cooking, she told me she was making Chilaquiles, it's a traditional Mexican breakfast made with tortilla chips simmered in sauce.
"wow you really don't believe in sweet breakfast but I'm not complaining I love whatever you put on the table" I said, I am really not picky with food, and I love all cuisine styles, I just love to eat actually,
anyways, we're also having breakfast with our guest at the same table, it's not a rare thing in fact master Alec always asks us to join him at the table during his meals,
"I don't see Master Alec-Zander anywhere? he wasn't with the others in the living room? could it be that he hasn't woken up yet?!" I asked Victor who was busy cooking something himself,
"Alec is probably still asleep... I knocked on his door earlier... his only response was to leave him alone... I am just happy that he actually said a word to me but honestly I'm worried sick he's planning to skip meals again ... since my hands are tied would you be kind and ask your brother to check for him again please...tell him the food is almost ready" Victor replied to me,
" no need to I heard everything I'll go check on him" my brother said finally entering the kitchen
"I honestly thought you went back to sleep! I'm proud of you for actually making it to the kitchen Viv!" I said jokingly, my twin brother rolled his eyes at me, he does it often
[ he's a little rude]
"go get a life" Vivek said to me leaving back to check up on master Alec in his bedroom,
I shifted my attention at Victor cooking, he always looks peaceful when he's making food for some reason,
" can I help you Vishal? you have been staring for quite few minutes...I believe Vidal asked you to set the table" Victor said shaking me from my zoned out state,
" sorry I was trying to figure out what are you making?" I replied to him,
he smiled answering me "I am almost done...i decided to make brioche bread and Popeye biscuits...oh and for drinks I'm serving cappuccino!"
"oh you went for the sweet type of breakfast...i must admit It's been a while since I smelled caffé in this house since master Alec hates all types of coffee" I said, Victor nodded in agreement
" for the none coffee drinkers that Victor was selfishly not thinking about...worry not I Gotchu homies!! I made us earlier some Piña Colada and it's chilling~ in the fridge!..thank me later Mwah!" Videl stated blowing a kiss and finger pointing at Victor who just ignored her attempt at mocking him,
I grabbed an enough number of dishes and started setting the table in the dining room,
miss Aleeza walked in and asked me where she could find Victor, I told her she can find him in the kitchen cooking with Videl, she thanked me and went to find him
[She's quite sweet I guess]
... meanwhile....
....Vivek's Pov:
I was sent by Victor to find master Alec and tell him to come down for breakfast, our guests were already up and talking,
" ugh morning ppl ...they are demons! how can anyone wake up happy and jolly like that! we live in a shitty world with shitty ppl in it" I complained to myself while walking through the hallway
" ugh...do I even have to wear this stupid uniform everyday... I mean turquoise for a uniform color?! it's too damn ugly I dunno why Vishal likes it ... sometimes I wonder if we're really twins... she's always right she's always perfect and I have to be the disappointment" I complained again,
I don't hate my sister, but I'm jealous of her, as twins she was always different from me, they say nothing in this world is more stronger than a determinant woman, and Vishal is just like that, she smart and kind and she isn't picky about anything,
I on the other hand, I'm a rat
a menace to society, I can't even try to be nice for more than few minutes, I always ended up insulting people, and I can't seem to like anything but darkness and sleep
I am really good at hating, because love was always too taxing for me,
" seriously these shoes!! the noise is unbearable!" I grunted at the sound of my boots, thankfully I made it to Master's bedroom,
standing next to the big door I knocked several times, there was no response or any sound of movement near the door on the inside, I knocked again, and again
I called out for master Alec but he didn't respond, this set alarm bells in my mind,
master's room isn't soundproof to say the least, it's either that he wasn't in his bedroom or that master Alec-Zander might be in trouble in there,
" ok f**k this " I said pulling my Lockpick from my pocket, I always keep one on me for personal reasons,
" surely no one will mind since this could be a serious situation" I said picking the lock
I was successful at opening master's room,
the door swung open and I stepped inside,
the very thing I noticed was master's messy unmade bed, naturally you'd think it's a servant's job to make the bed but Master Alec-Zander likes to make his own bed when he's in a good mood, considering the events last night at that stupid ceremony, it normal that his bed is a warzone,
the problem wasn't the bed although it means more work for me, the issue here is that master is no where to be found in his room,
I checked into his bathroom but nothing
his phone was still there on the bed along side with his party clothes from yesterday, the only this missing other than master Alec himself is his night robe, he must be wearing it somewhere
" where the hell could he be... Victor is gonna freak out hearing about this! I hope he's not doing anything dangerous" I thought to myself dashing back down to get to the kitchen,
because of my master's mental health and his history with Suicide attempts, during any major big deal like last night everyone is on alert, We do whatever we can to lift up the mood but we also keep watch over Master just in case,
but this time since we got distracted by Guests and he's gone without a notice from his room,
I made it to the kitchen, I didn't find anyone there, I remembered hearing Vidal tell my sister that everyone including us the servants with have breakfast at the dinning room,
I hurried there as fast as I could, I made it in few seconds and I almost crashed at the open doors,
everyone was already seated, they were probably waiting for me and Master to arrive
" Vivek Manners please?! why are you running down the hallways?" Victor asked me "wait a minute where's master Alec? didn't Victor send you to bring him" Videl asked too
"I didn't find him in his room...I had to pick the lock because I got no response and I freaked out!... he's not there and his phone is still on the bed!" I explained, this caused Victor, Videl and my sister to stand from their seats in panic mode,
" what do you mean he's not there!! Victor we gotta find him ...what if he's?!" Videl stated looking at Victor who was now more pale than he naturally is,
" Vivek Vishal you two keep searching the house! call me if you found him"Victor ordered us
"Leon and I gonna help you to find him too!" Aleeza said to which that guy Leon nodded to,
"then join the twins if you may I'll be going outside with Videl" Victor replied to her
"I'll be searching for Alec too...I'll try the nearby woods" Alexis said jumping from her seat
" be careful There miss Alexis" Victor warned her,
"you don't gotta tell me twice" she replied running outside the dinning room,
we all went searching in all possible areas in and out of the mansion to find master,

.....third person pov:
the search inside turned negative, the twins, with the help of Aleeza and Leon were still unable to locate Alec anywhere Within the house,
their only hope was that, either Victor and Videl or Alex would be lucky to find him,
the twins got out of the mentioned followed by Aleeza and Leon, only to see Victor and Videl at the entrance arguing, turns out they too didn't find Alec-Zander anywhere
"I'm not going inside the woods You can Go on Your own!" Videl shouted at Victor
" do you realize we allowed Miss Alexis to go by herself there to search for Master?!" Victor replied to her
Videl scoffed at him saying " she's a grown woman she can take care of herself!!"
" and so are you Videl!!" Victor said
" she isn't back yet?!" Leon asked heavily worried "are the woods here safe shouldn't you follow her?!" he asked again
" oh wait there she is!! OMG SHE FOUND HIM!!" Aleeza said pointing at Alex who came out of the woods carrying something fireman style on her shoulder, or someone
and that someone was screaming on top of their lungs,
" JESUS F**KING CHRIST ALEX!! ALEXIS F**KING CONNER!!! PUT NE DOWN PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!!" turns out it was Alec-Zander who was screaming his lungs out terrified because Alex was literally carrying him like a fireman on her shoulder,
" NOW SHUT U ASS U BISH!! I AIN'T HAVING NONE OF YOUR SHENANIGANS!! YOU NEARLY GAVE ALL OF US A HEART ATTACK FOR BREAKFAST!!" Alex screamed back at him
he kept thrashing around and wiggling trying to free himself from her hold but he failed miserably,
"pleeeeae I promiiiiised I won't run awaaay again put me on the ground Aleeex!!" Alec-Zander whined like a six years old
" F**king fine we made it anyways!" Alex said finally releasing Alec-Zander from her grip,
despite the short distance between them, Victor came rushing towards Alec-Zander wrapping him in a hug,
Alec-Zander could feel Victor's Racing heartbeats from his chest as he hugged him
" Please for the love of god Alec... Don't do this to me I was thinking the worst possible scenario in my head... please consider my feelings just this once" Victor cried holding Alec tighter
everyone was silently watching Victor hug Alec-Zander like he hasn't seen him years and not for few hours,
" F**king Hell what were you thinking huh?!" someone suddenly bursted in anger, it was Vivek, hearing this Alec broke the hug
" Vivek please there's no need for this!" Vishal said trying to stop him but it only made it worse as Vivek approached Alec-Zander stomping, the moment he was standing next to Alec face to face, he did something that no one had expect,
in plain sight in front of everyone present at the moment, Vivek slapped Alec-Zander across the face, Aleeza and Leon gasped in utter shock, Victor and Alex were frozen no believing what just happened,
Vishal went out of her mine screamed at her brother, he just slapped their boss?!
" you made everyone Worried SICK!! WOULD YOU ONE TIME IN YOUR LIFE EVER CONSIDER USING YOUR F**KING HEAD?! HUH?! DO YOU REALIZE WHO YOU ARE ALEC-ZANDER?! YOU'RE GOING TO HARM YOURSELF AND EVERYONE ELSE AROUND YOU JUST BECAUSE THAT FU**KING BASTARD RODRIGO LIED TO YOU AND HURT YOU AGAIN LIKE IT'S NOT THE MILLION TIME HE DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!" Vivek yelled until he ran out of air, Alec stood there clutching his red marked cheek,
" U F**KING PIECE OF SHIT!" Videl screamed launching herself at Vivek, she knocked him on the ground and started punching him
" DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU JUST DID?! APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR I'LL CUT YOUR TIME SHORT ON THIS EARTH!!" Videl screamed again picking Vivek from his collar, Vishal was begging her not stop punching her twin brother,
" Videl ....stop let him go... it's not like he's wrong" Alec stated walking towards Videl who was on top of Vivek still holding him from his collar,
Alexis wanted badly to be the one punching Vivek at the moment but she remained in her place just watching,
" no... I'M NOT!! he needs to learn his lesson this guy is good for nothing but hurting other people's feelings...he can't even say a couple of nice words!" Videl replied
Alec-Zander gently tapped on her shoulder
"it's an order Videl this isn't a request...let go of Vivek now" he said
giving up Videl shot a glare towards Vivek as she finally let go of him, Vivek was looking away from both the enraged maid and his Master who he just slapped,
" I'm going back to my room...I lost appetite...I didn't have any to begin with... I'm sorry you guys witnessed this unfortunate incident but please enjoy your breakfast...and don't worry about me...look I didn't try to jumped off the balcony! Yay I guess?" Alec said trying to sound alright, he began to walk only to stumble on his steps a little, he looked a bit pale and overall weak,
Aleeza realized something is not right so she looked at Alex who was still a bit frozen but then she noticed something unusual on Her shirt, blood, there was a drop of blood on the back of Alexis's shirt,
" oh no... Alec-Zander come here" Aleeza said in a worried tone "show me your wrists!" she demanded,
the sleeves of Alec's Night robe were long enough to hide even his hands, hesitant Alec-Zander didn't move anywhere closer to Aleeza,
"what's going on Aleeza?! what's gotten into you?!" Alex finally spoke
"he's bleeding somewhere! Alec is bleeding the back of your shirt is bloody!" Aleeza replied, the instant her words made their way to Victor and Alex's ears they gently Grabbed Alec-Zander pulling the sleeves of his robe up,
they revealed blood soaked bandages wrapped unprofessionally around Alec's right wrist, it freaked everyone out
"was this what you were doing before I found you... Please answer me Alec" Alex asked trying her past to hide her distressed, she knew she needed to be calm, while Victor on the other hand remained silent inspecting the cut that was still bleeding but didn't seem dangerous,
" Please don't be angry...I swear it's out of my control...I don't know I couldn't stop... I'm really sorry... I'm a disappointment" Alec said as he bursted in tears
" nonono don't worry don't worry I'm not Angry...come here walk with me ... slowly don't worry" Alex said gently pushing Alec to walk with her inside the house, with Victor walking besides them Holding Alec-Zander's right hand above his heart level in order to help stop the bleeding, while everyone else followed in closely, Vivek was still getting glared at and side eyed by the rest,
Videl hurried a little inside to find the first aid kit and some other helpful tools, as Victor seated A shaking Alec-Zander in the living room sofa, Videl came back in few seconds and handed the Aid kit to Victor,
everyone else, Leon, Aleeza, Videl and the twins remained within a distance watching over as Victor who was getting ready to clean the Cut on Alec-Zander's wrist while Alex was trying to calm the Young man down as he cried his eyes out in anxiety.
