Chapter 154: Issue #14
Jack was able to bring up Behemoth and activated its barrier in time to block Nyx's claws but the force of her blows still sent him flying off the mountain.
Jack created a footing out of pure psionic energy beneath his feet to catch himself while he looked at the 5 claws marks that had dug into his shield.
'So these things don't help so much when I fight a being of similar power.'
Jack turned Behemoth back into an accessory while only keeping Ziz out and ready. Jack teleported back into the temple and behind Nyx before swiping at the latter's head.
Ducking, she was able to avoid the blow but some of her hair was cut off.
Nyx turned and shot a wave of black energy at Jack which he countered with his own wave of purple energy.
When the energies met, Jack's overwhelmed and erased Nyx's beam before continuing forward, forcing the titan to block it with her own body. Jack's abyssal magic still seemed to affect the divine magic of the elder goddess.
This time, Nyx was blown off the mountain while most of the right side of her body was given severe burns which she quickly healed.
Nyx teleported back to the temple naked before reforming her clothes out of pure darkness.
"You give off the feeling of several Asgardians but when I scanned that damned Zeus's memories, you were not in them."
Jack flicked his spear which ended up cutting through several feet of the temple beneath him, just from the swing of it.
"I'm Jack Frost. Not a Greek God but a god nonetheless."
"Then why are you getting involved in the matters of another pantheon?" Nyx questioned. She looked over to see that Ares had already killed most of her children while her youngest was battling the two Olympians on the side of the mountain.
"Simple really. Adamantine."
Nyx nodded. There were no further words that were needed between the two.
Out of all the mythical metals in the multiverse, Adamantine ranked within the top 3 alongside Uru and Mysterium, the latter of which could never be created only found.
Jack and Nyx surrounded themselves with their own unique magical energy before clashing once again. The explosion from their blow destroyed the top part of Olympus with just a single blow.
It seemed that Nyx was not as weak as the Olympians that Jack had killed before. Instead of using divine energy as her primary attacking method, Nyx used pure dark energy instead.
So while Jack's power was able to overpower and erase other magical energy, he was not able to erase Nyx's dark energy. Nyx was also surprised that Jack was still able to take a blow from her without being severely injured.
Both of their expressions changed once again but they did not hesitate to attack the other more. Blow after blow collided between the pair as their residual energy spilled out all over Olympus.
The once beautiful scene had been tarnished by the destructive powers of the two as well as the black frost that Jack had produced. One wave of energy even killed Nyx's last child while giving Hercules severe injuries.
{Bring him out of here! This battle is out of your league!} Jack ordered Ares
Ares nodded reluctantly. He saw how the duo battled and wished nothing more than to be a part of such an epic fight. But he also knew that he could not die there. He was one of the last of his race. He needed to survive so that they might thrive once more.
Ares teleported off of Olympus so he was unable to see the conclusion of the fight or what would happen to his home. All he could do was pray for Jack's success. (Hehe. A god praying.)
Without Ares present, Jack was not afraid of unleashing his true power. He clashed with Nyx once more before using the chance where they collided to get blown back over 20 meters.
When he gained some distance, Jack decided to use one of his newest powers to transform into his Dark Armored Draconic Titan.
Jack's body went from a small human into a huge, bipedal purple dragon with thick armored plates on his body. There were several black jewels with swirling blue energy in them on various points of Jack's new body: his elbows, shoulders, knees, heart, the base of his neck, and forehead.
With his new form, Jack unleashed a primal roar that made Nyx herself cough up blood.
'What is that?!?!"
Nyx wanted to retreat but there was no place she could go. She could feel that the entire dimension had been locked down the moment that Jack had transformed into his new form.
Jack began charging a beam composed of abyssal energy and cold energy in an orb in front of his mouth. Jack then pointed the orb at Nyx before unleashing the beam at the titan.
The last thing that Nyx saw was a purple and blue light that got brighter and brighter as it neared her. She would forever regret that she could not simply give up Olympus when the duo first exchanged words.
Jack's dragon form soon found itself in the Dark Place once more. With her death confirmed, Jack returned back to his base form.
He then ignored all the orbs that were floating around before turning his attention to a set of golden words.
[(Title) Titan of Primordial Darkness (2/3): The owner can control the primal darkness that has existed before creation, and represents the darker aspect of primal creation. They are also a deity of higher power compared to normal deities. Due to having part of the original owner's soul still sealed, the user is unable to use this power at its fullest.]

Author's Notes: So I finally decided on how I'm gonna do the divine ranks. I'm not. I'm lazy. So I'm gonna steal it from DnD 3rd edition.
They basically have ranks from 0 (Hero) to 21 (Overdeity). Each rank from 1 to 15 has about a 2x strength/power difference (as in an estimation. And there are even differences in power among those at the same rank). From 16 up, it goes to about 10x between each rank before them.
Rank 21: An Overdeity (The One-Above-All.)
Rank 16-20: A greater deity (The most powerful of deities. The difference between each rank is so much greater than that in any other level. Jack and Nyx are Rank 16 but Nyx is 16 at full power.)
Rank 11-15: An intermediate deity (Thor and Hercules would be Rank 11 while Odin would Rank 15)
Rank 6-10: A lesser deity (I would say most of the 12 Olympians would be rank 9 or 10)
Rank 1-5: A demigod (Most Asgardians would be between rank 2 or 3. Most Olympians would be rank 5)
Rank 0: A quasi-deity or hero-deity (No divinity but has gotten divine power through a weapon or artifact or blessing)
