Fleur can feel Harry's breath on her face as he stands right in front of her, she can't help but stare into his eyes.
"What were you thinking attacking me like that? The only reason I am not tearing through your mind right now is because it's you" Harry says in his usual tone but there is a certain edge in his voice that tells her that he is not in the mood to play games.
'Because it's you' those words caused Fleur's heart to speed up a little bit and a smile formed on her face.
"I am sorry, I was just trying to see if you remember me. I got carried away I guess but now I know that just are like me, you also remember our time together" Fleur replied.
Fleur expected Harry to be happy after hearing that but he just stayed silent as he transfigured the stone snakes holding her legs back to the floor and gave her wand back to her.
Seeing that he is not saying anything and he still looks confused Fleur took it on her own "Did you also dream about us? You might have been confused at first seeing and experiencing memories of an alternate version of yourself but don't worry you are not going crazy. I know for a fact that those dreams are real. Why else would two completely different people dream about the same alternate reality" Fleur tried to reassure him.
"Dreams!? Alternate reality?! What are you talking about Fleur? This is the same world just a different timeline" Harry suddenly said and this time it is her turn to be shocked.
Just like that with a few words, Harry completely shattered her entire worldview. Fleur was never dreaming about an alternate version of her but instead was somehow just seeing her own memories about a time that no longer exists.
But instead of being horrified or astonished about the time travel aspect of this situation she instead felt her happiness of seeing Harry after so long being swept aside and it is replaced by feelings of anger and betrayal.
Fleur marched forward and slapped Harry right across his face. She knows that he had seen her slap coming a mile away but still didn't make any effort to move out of the way.
"Time Travel!" She couldn't help but yell at him. "How can you do something so stupid? You could have died or worse stuck in a situation where you would have wished for death"
"But that is not even the worst part. Do you know what's the worst part, Harry? It is the fact even with how utterly ridiculous and dangerous it is to even attempt to travel back in time, you still did it anyway. This shows how little our time together meant to you, Harry. Seeing how easily you gave up on the entire world just for a chance to go back"
Fleur tried her hardest to only show her rage to him and not her pain but slowly tears appeared in her eyes. She really doesn't want to cry for a man who so easily threw away their time together, like it meant nothing to him, she meant nothing to him.
Harry gently took hold of her face with his hands and wiped the tears falling down her face with his thumbs. He looks directly into her eyes with those caring loved filled green eyes and all of her anger disappeared just like that.
Fleur should hate him, she has every reason to, but she just can't when he is looking at her with so much love. Once again she is reminded of how dangerous love can be, even after being away for all these years Harry still has this effect on her.
"I didn't do this" Harry said firmly as he is still looking straight into her eyes "It just happened on its own but I can't say I didn't have a choice. This thing was going to happen either way and the only options available to me was either to try to oppose this and forget like everyone else or go along with it and keep my memories intact"
"Believe me, it was not an easy decision. But in the end, I choose the latter option in an effort to do better this time around. I thought that I was the only one who remembers that time but it seems I was wrong" Harry went on.
Harry didn't do this, he didn't just throw away everything just on a whim and suddenly that was enough for Fleur. Of course, she has lots of questions she needs answers to but for now, just knowing this is enough.
She grabbed him and brought her lips to his, Harry was surprised at first but before long they are snogging like there is no tomorrow.
They didn't break their passionate kissing until they were both out of breath, as Harry is breathing deeply in her embrace Fleur's hands went to undo his pants but Harry stopped her.
Fleur is confused because she can clearly see his hunger for her in his eyes but he is holding himself back for some reason.
"We are too young" he says in between his breathing.
"Young! Harry, I am 41 and you are just two years short of 40 yourself. How are we too young?"
"I know but physically we are still too young" he replied.
"I don't think we have to worry about that" Fleur said pointing toward his very obvious erection. "It seems that our bodies agree with me on this one"
But Harry stayed firm "we waited for so long already. What're a few more years compared to that?"
Reluctantly Fleur accepted not because she agreed with Harry but because she had to get back to her classmates. So she gave Harry one last steamy kiss before making her way back to her seat.
