Chapter 4: Chapter 3

It didn't take too long for Paracelsus to come back, at most ten minutes after Anatole had hatched from his egg. Along with two boys on his shoulders like potato sacks.

"I brought the victims, can I have some blood now?" The mad alchemist smiled as he brought out a syringe from… somewhere. Did he have his own inventory?

"After I am done with them. Hope you have enough patience for that."

"Of course I have enough patience. It is a must in alchemical arts and learning other similar- is that a phoenix?" Alchemist's smug tone died down as he laid his eyes on the baby bird that was pecking at a chicken leg. Cannibalism? I'd like to call it establishing dominance over the inferior avians.

"An Anqa actually, their Arabic cousins who are far more suited to battle." There was some smug in my tone but honestly, I had a bird that can eat a dragon, I had every reason to be smug.

"Do they have magical tears like normal ones?" Paracelsus asked, his eyes never leaving Anatole.

"Yep, magically healing tears, interested?" I asked rhetorically with a smirk that had far less smug in it than I was feeling.

"Very much so! The sheer amount of possibilities that I could, it is even greater than dragon blood!" Paracelsus' pupils shrunk as he looked at me with a manic look in them.

"Both which that I will be able to acquire in the future. Also both that I would be quite willing to share with my followers." I smiled at the man who looked far too much like an excited child.

{+40 reputation with Paracelsus Alter[45/100] for offering him best tools for his experiments}

Wow, that's a boost in reputation.

"Anyway, now please leave the boys." I requested from the alchemist and he immediately did so, and here are my soon to be murder victims: Hyoudou Issei and Saji Genshirou.

The quest said 'harem kings' and I was pretty sure the blonde had at least two girls who were infatuated with him while he was trying to get Sona's approval. So might as well get rid of him before Sona could recruit him.

"Thank you for bringing them here… what are you doing?" I asked Paracelsus as I realized that he was slowly trying to move away from my soon to be corpses while giving a weird look to the blonde soon to be corpse.

"Sorry sir." Sir? "It's just… the room of the blonde one kinda freaked me out." Whut?

"You are an alchemist with a neutral evil alignment that agreed to help me murder two people not even an hour after we met, what could creep you out in a teenager's room?" I asked incredulously cause seriously, da hell Paracelsus?

"His walls were covered with pictures of a girl with glasses, some of them were bikini posters with her face taped on them and there were also several pictures with a hole in where her mouth is supposed to be." Paracelsus droned on as he shivered.

…blink…blink blink…

I am doing Saji a favor by killing him. If Serafall had found out about that death would be his dearest wish. A wish that not even the Greater Grail could realize while he was in siscon Leviathan's hands.

"And their parents?" I asked, eager to change the subject.

"I put a compulsion spell on them to move away from the city and adopt new kids. Along with erasing their memories of their sons." Paracelsus easily answered.

I may have no problems killing them due to the Ruthless trait but I kinda felt bad about their parents. Especially Hyoudous as they had at least two miscarriages before they had Issei so I kinda felt bad about killing their son. Just not bad enough to stop me.

"Thank you Paracelsus… is there a nickname I can use for you. Paracelsus von Hohenheim is still pretty famous in magical circles and your name is a bit too long." I admitted. Keep calling him 'Paracelsus' takes far too much time.

"I can't believe you would imply that my name is not suited for conversations! I will forgive you for a few drops of your bird's tears." The genius alchemist gasped in mock horror before changing his tune almost as fast.

"I'll give some later. Is there anything you can do without me in this house?"

"I should be able to create a low level workshop here for some minor magics. But I will need a properly equipped place for me to lay a workshop in order use greater magics like potions and gemcraft, not to mention Elemental creation." The genius alchemist admitted as he shrugged his shoulders.

"I will try to do something about it but it probably will take a while. Tinker with these to keep yourself busy." I said as I gave him three Middle Heal potions which he took with renewed interest.

"Yes, quite an interesting blend. For this I shall allow you to call me… Paul. And you were right my name is a bit long." Newly named Paul admitted as he rubbed the behind of his head with a sheepish expression. He really was quite nice for an Alter.

"See ya later then." I waved at him before grabbing two unconscious boys and activating the dungeon.

I had gone through a lot of the undead dungeon on my first day, there were no longer weak undead like zombies but only variants of skeletons like Skeleton Knights and Skeleton Mages. Nasty guys that were perfect for killing the boys with me without bloodying my own hands. So I just threw them at the nearest enemy mob, a Skeleton Knight with a longsword. The boys had no chance, the undead cut off Issei's head and stabbed Saji in throat before they could even properly wake up.

{Quest: Long Live the King:

The world needs only true harem kings, not washed up versions like that pathetic pervert. Claim your dominance!

Objective: Kill Hyoudou Issei before the first season starts. [Completed]

Hidden Objective: Kill Saji Genshirou as well. [Completed]

Hidden Objective: Kill your targets without bloodying your own hands. [Completed]

Reward: Massive EXP, [Plot Armor Piercer] perk.

Hidden Reward: Absorption Line, sack of gold!

Hidden Reward: Ddraig Core, Welsh Skill token, 5 Gacha tokens} Ddraig Core? Observe.

{Ddraig Core: A magical gemstone that possesses the spirit of Y Ddraig Goch, the Welsh Dragon of domination.} As I looked at the green stone in my palm, I could not help but think that this was rather unimpressive as the prison of one of the strongest dragons to ever exist. And the hell was a Welsh Skill token? Observe.

{An item made out of the Red Dragon Emperor's magical energy, crushing it will randomly give one ability of the Welsh Dragon to the user.} For a moment I looked at the little read ball in my hand. There wasn't even a moment of thinking before it was crushed within my palm.

{Skill [Penetrate] has been acquired.} the one ability of Ddraig that would allow me to go through magical defenses as if they were empty air is mine now. And also the skill Issei used as X-Ray vision to look under girls' clothes.

I had a half mind using the Gacha tokens or try to awaken Ddraig in the gem but grinding felt a tiny bit more important. I really wanted to see what I would get after upgrading Sun Monarch to Adept and finally get Rune Mage to Proficient so that I can choose my new class.

So come to me free EX-cough cough I meant skeletons!

Paracelsus/Paul POV

Truly fascinating.

These so called Middle Heal Potions were quite complex and advanced. As a matter of fact they were better than almost any healing potions he could make without a Philosopher's Stone. He might not be as well versed in medical arts of Magecraft as his 'proper' version but he still was one of the greatest Alchemist in all history. And yet his new master possessed knowledge about potions even greater than that? Truly fascinating.

He didn't know exactly how the death of those two boys was gonna help him, other than removing their stupidity from the cesspool, but the young man seemed far saner than most of the Magi he knew in his life so it probably would be ok. Speaking of Magi he knew, he wondered what happened to that Russian guy that was talking about creating an utopia with no suffering. What was his name again? Ah right Zolgen, Makiri Zolgen. The young magus would have been far better friends with his proper self but he still had been pleasant company. Maybe his master would know. Wonder what he was doing in whatever pocket dimension he was in. How did he even use that, from what Paul sensed his mana should not be sufficient to support one.

He truly had been summoned by a very fascinating man, hadn't he.
