Chapter 20: Chapter 19
Hee-Chul pulled away and pulled out something from his pocket. When he was about to show it, Eun Ho appeared out of nowhere and pushed him aside.
The others appear and help Eun Ho drag Hee-Chul away. Taejin is done. He knows he's a kid but how long are the adults gonna act like this?
"Dad. Mr Hee-Chul was about to propose to you."
"A-ah...I...see…"
"Do you think you want to accept him?"
I look at Taejin who stares back at me seriously. I... don't know. It was a nice kiss...but I do not want to marry someone who I thought of a friend this whole time.
At the same time…
My heart said otherwise.
It's beating so fast.
I turn around and run out. I need alone time. I'm sorry for ditching everyone but this is something to think about. I end up running to a small shop that sells accessories.
"Welcome to our shop! Take a look aroun..d? Sir! It's you again!"
I looked at the guy and it was that guy from yesterday! You know, that 22 year old guy who tried to marry me.
"How's it going with those two?"
"...one of them was about to propose to me."
"I assume it didn't go well knowing how troubled you look right now."
I looked at the side and saw someone's face on the window.
"GAH-!"
"Dad. It's me."
It's the all mighty Shinn. My son who has been nothing but a trouble to me. He's here to comfort me, am I right?
"Dad. Hee-Chul was looking for you."
"Argh, you're not here to comfort me?"
"Nope. Not at all."
I sigh and the guy offers a seat for me and my son. We both take a seat and look at the accessories. There's a set of rings with a beautiful diamond.
"This is beautiful."
"...Dad. Do you like Mr Hee-Chul or not?"
"...
I am a scum. Just because someone is good at kissing, I started falling for them…"
Even though it's not a cafe, the guy served me a cup of tea and I gave him a confused look.
"Allow me to calm you down with a cup of tea! Nothing beats drinking tea when it comes to calming yourself."
I just realised his nametag said 'Jeon Ju'. I guess that is his name. I sipped the tea and Jeon gave one to Shinn too.
"This is your son? How old are you?"
"Two more years to finish high school."
He calmly sips his tea in a formal way.
"Can I date you by then?"
It was a ridiculous question that made both of us spit out drinks at the same time.
"Why-"
"Your dad doesn't want a younger guy and I like your look."
"Looks aren't everything."
"Yes."
Shinn and Jeon had a staring contest which made me leave quickly. I do not want to watch it any longer. I got a phone call and answered it with no energy.
"Crazy Yato here."
"Hey, are you okay?"
"Oh Eun Ho..
Yeah. I...just…am confused."
Eun Ho became silent before collecting back his courage to talk again.
"If you don't mind…"
I knew what he's going to say. At this point, I think I am just playing with everyone's feelings. I slowly end the call and text Eun Ho about it.
Y: Give me time. Please.
I reach my office and enter it. Believe it or not, I actually walk here. It was a long but peaceful walk. When I entered my office, I saw my desk and opened the drawer.
There's nothing to do. Leaning on the chair, I slowly close my eyes. Before I could sleep, my phone rang and I answered it calmly.
"WHAT?!"
That is not calm.
"Young man. How dare you scream-"
"No wait! Sorry mother! I just…"
My mother knew something was up and changed the call to a video call. I can see her giving a gentle smile. Wish she was my real mother.
"Honey, is it about Hee-Chul, your assistant?"
Guess that she knew it from the almighty father of mine now. I look down before gathering my courage to say it.
"Not only him. There's another guy who's trying to pursue me. He said it himself."
"Honey, do you feel comfortable with them both?"
"I...because of my memory, I feel like a friend only towards Hee-Chul and Eun Ho just met me like a few days ago-?"
"Then, give them a chance to prove themselves. Why not, bring them to dinner tomorrow?"
She said what?
Bring those two and make my husbands mad?
"If it's your husbands, I will make sure you're safe."
I love my new mother. Fuck Yato for being a bitch and not remembering his mother.

I text my husbands and those two to go to my mother's house today. Yes, today is the day! Dear mother, I will meet you today!
I won't go home to change though. First, I go shopping. Gifts for mothers are important. Mango is important. And then, new clothes for my mother are good.
"What do old women wear these days?"
I went to another store to buy a tie for my father. Something that I hate but he probably loves. Yellow tie. I went to look for a tux and change it there.
It's a white tux like my hair. Blend in pretty well. Shinn gives me a selfie of him with Taejin and it honestly makes me smile.
No matter what, my sons are adorable.
Yun sent me a text too.
YR: Do you need anything from home? Hope you're doing good. (っ˘з(˘⌣˘ )

It's finally time to meet up and I saw everyone's driver already outside of the house. They're here already. All...of them. I exit the taxi and enter the house. When the maid saw me, I signalled them to shut up as a surprise.
I headed to the living room and heard talking.
"You two…
Are you serious?" Is that my mother's voice?
"We want to marry him. Please help us and make him gave us chance. At least one month!"
"...Guys?"
I look at him and my husbands looks at those two who are kneeling in front of everyone.
"We…
Will let you marry him if you make him happy. One month. Give him a chance to decide whether you guys are worth his love or not."
