Chapter 82: Chapter 80
Once Alexander left, Master Yoda had summoned the Jedi High Council to discuss what they had just found and what to do now that they have this information.
Unfortunately since Obi-wan was only a Jedi Knight and not a Master he could not participate in the meeting and had to leave.
On the other hand qui-gon was on the council so he stayed while the other Jedi Master's came to join him and Yoda.
Once everybody was in the council room, Master Yoda started to show them the new information that he has just learned.
Master Yoda had placed down the device that Alexander allowed him to keep and not even a second later the image of Palpatine showed, and along side it was the video of Darth Sidious planning the war between Trade Federation and the Republic which would cause the CIS to form.
"Master Yoda how did you come by this information" Asked Jedi Master Plo Koon
"With emperor alexander who you know has come here to visit the chancellor in light of the recent attack on Olympus by the confederacy I just met, With him after he agreed to meet with me, he revealed to us some important information that revealed the fact that the sith have returned and one of them is the leader of the galactic empire. Hmm." Explained Yoda
The entire Council room was filled with shocked faces since the return of the Sith was not a good thing for the Jedi. Especially considering how long the Galactic Empire has been around, the Sith could have did a lot of things in that time.
"Master Yoda what should we do with this information" Asked Mace Windu "I think we should bring this up to the Senate"
"NO, we must not, deeply corrupted the senate is and with this information it would only warn the Sith that we now know about them" Said Master Yoda as the other Council member's agreed.
"Planned out by the Sith lord Darth Sidious also known as emperor Palpatine our war with the confederacy was. Stretched too thin across the galaxy as it is the jedi are, end the war first so we can focus on this delicate matter we must." Explained Master Yoda
"Master Yoda, at least assign a few Jedi to go undercover and see if this information is true" Asked Jedi Master Shaak Ti who was on Kamino overseeing the Clone Training so she was talking through a hologram.
"I agree, Master Yoda as good as this information is it could have also been fabricated to provoke us to start something with the Galactic Empire especially during such a crucial time" Said Agen Kolar a recent addition to the Jedi Council.
Master Yoda understood their concerns since a stranger had gave them some crucial information about the return of the Sith something the Jedi have been predicting over the last few years based on the many visions that Yoda received and some of the younglings.
But before Master Yoda could respond his communicator started to ring. But also at this time Master Yoda felt great danger heading towards them.
Master Yoda answered his Communicator and a voice on the other end was heard immediately "Master Yoda we have a situation that could use your immediate attention" Said the person on the other end.
"What is the problem Admiral" Asked Master Yoda
"A Massive fleet of Imperial Ships have just exited hyperspace in force and are requesting that we hand over Emperor Alexander on the crimes of kidnapping a direct subordinate to the Emperor" Explained the Admiral.
"Master Yoda I don't think this is situation is as simple as that, They must have some ulterior motives for showing up to Coruscant in force" Said Mace Windu.
"Indeed, talk to the chancellor we must" Said Master Yoda
"The Chancellor is already speaking with the Imperial Grand Admiral as we speak but as you are part of Republic High Command we must inform you of these events" Said the Admiral.
"Thank you Admiral, deal with this situation carefully we must or else face the consequences we will" Said Master Yoda as the Admiral's hologram disappeared.
"Hrrmmm. Head to the chancellor's office I will, discuss the situation of the Sith later we will" Said Master Yoda as his tiny figure walked out of the council room and headed towards the Chancellor's office.
Meanwhile the conversation between the Grand Admiral and the Chancellor was getting nowhere.
"Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik I cannot just hand over Emperor Alexander as he is a guest and a ruler in his own right, so once I again I cannot comply with your request" Answered the Chancellor once again.
Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik wasn't here to ask questions nor play nice with the Republic. The Rivalry between the two has long been established ever since the Great Separation.
But this whole thing was just a test. Ever since the start of the Civil war the Republic Border's with the Galactic Empire have become easy to slip by.
So much that an entire fleet was able to slip by and make it to Coruscant. Not only does this show that the Republic have gaps in their military defenses, but their ability to defend themselves on multiple fronts was something to be taken advantage of.
Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik was indeed here to try and force the Republic to turn on Emperor Alexander and hand them over in exchange for the Return of the Imperial Fleet back to Imperial Territory.
But he didn't expect that the Chancellor would be this resilient and would not bite for his bluffs of attacking Coruscant.
"Chancellor, the Emperor has no patience to deal with the likes of you who prevents justice from being served, this is why we broke away in the first place" Said the Grand Admiral
The Chancellor who was listening to this was actually a little worried since if a battle started here at the Capital, it would greatly affect the War withe CIS especially of they lose.
The Coruscant Defense Fleet was massive and it was the biggest fleet that the Republic had, But the Empire has been building up their fleet's over the years and have a much larger military than the Republic and a much more advanced one.
If anything he wanted to prevent a battle from happening on Coruscant but he didn't have many cards to play to against the Grand Admiral.
And it was just at this moment that he felt that his thought's were answered as another massive fleet appeared out of Hyperspace.
The arrival of this new fleet had caught the attention of both the Chancellor and the Grand Admiral.
