by the time they were done, it was already evening, and they were walking out of the training grounds.

Haruno only shook his head and started walking off, but surprisingly Satsuki seemed to ponder on the question.
"fine, but I get to pick the place".
Naruto only raised an eyebrow, then shrugged and motioned for her to lead the way.

"you really like tomatoes don't you?".
Naruto asked with an eyebrow raised in amusement.
"shut up".
an embarrassed Satsuki, threatened, though, to him, it felt like a duck glaring at him, it wasn't threatening at all.
"oh, are we intruding?".
asked a very familiar voice, they both looked over to see their sensei with someone with her...
(...ooh is sensei on a date with Obito?).
"nonsense we are promoting teamwork".
Naruto responded with a slight smirk on his lips, ignoring the reddening face of his teammate.
"Maa, Maa, then why isn't Ouka here?".
she questioned with a raised eyebrow and without a doubt, Naruto could see a Smith under the mask.
"he was too tired after all those team exercises we did, so he decided to join us another time".
Naruto explained, with a shrug, then he looked between his sensei and Obito.
"so, you on a date?".
Anzashi just stood there before answering, but she wasn't the only one.
"...No".
"Yes".
she looked over to her partner, and he did the same, Obito smirked and she sighed in resignation, they just gave two of his students some information that didn't need to be known, to them that is, everyone else knew.
"ooh, want to make it a double date?".
Naruto asked, motioning them to sit down with one hand and catching a kunai with the other, which was thrown by Satsuki.
"This isn't a date".
she hissed, but it wasn't at all intimidating with that red face of hers.
(... she doesn't take to teasing very well does she?).
with a chuckle, he looked over obit who sat beside him, his left eye was covered since the Sharingan was not there anymore.
he was wearing a standard Jounin outfit, and metal-plated gloves, with blue sandals.
"... So, who might you be?".
he asked, and Satsuki just rolled her eyes, she knew who he was.
"My name is Obito Uchiha, Nice to meet you... cute little Genin".
Obito responded with a grin, amused at Narutos twitching eye and the little frightening glare he sent to his date.
the night continued with Naruto by pressing a snicker when Satsuki's order arrived, which was a salad with extra tomatoes.

it was after the dat-... Team bonding, that naruto was heading home that he felt eyes on him.
not stopping, his eyes slowly roamed the street, it was barely late so no one was on the road, but what he felt was undoubtedly observing him.
taking a kunai out of his sleeve he flung it in an alley, but he disnt hear it hitting flesh, he didn't hear it hit the ground or the building, meaning it was caught.
"Fufufu, Naruto-Kun, that was a good throw, no killing intent behind it but it was aimed right at my heart, color me impressed".
said a figure in the shadows, as the two golden slitted eyes seeming glow in the darkness.
"..."
Naruto remained silent, observing the figure, he searched through his memories to see who this was.
"well, I thought you would react to meeting me more, a little excitement maybe?".
the figure walked out revealing to be Orochimaru in all his glory.
(oh right, he didn't defect this time did he?).
"aren't you excited to see your godfather?".
"... what?".
