Chapter 3: Chapter 2: A Benevolent Father
Mahad "yes prince Atem but we must be back before dinner as your father might notice something"
and like that we spent almost a day in the city giving out food to the less fortunate and doing other things such as exploring all the different areas of the city while i stored and created a map of all the places we've been as we then quickly ran back before we where caught as we then took off our disguises and hide them away as we then headed for the door but that was when my father and a few palace guards walked into my room as they surrounded both me and mahad
Aknamkanon "well my son you thought i wouldn't notice you and your friend leaving the palace i mean what where you thinking you could have gotten hurt and at first i was thinking of dragging you back and punishing you but first i want to hear your reason for leaving"
Atem "well father the reason we left is because….."
Aknamkanon "ah i see as expected of my son but although i won't be punishing the both of you mahad i will be telling you father of this and Atem you are to stay inside the palace for a period of 10 days and you will be under watch 24/7 and if you think about leaving again without my permission then well i'll think of a more suitable punishment"
Atem "Y-yes father but what do you mean without your permission does that mean i get to leave the palace"
Aknamkanon "well yes i would never be so cruel as to keep my son locked up inside of a boring palace for all his life no you'll be able to leave well with
my permission and escorts of course but for now you are not allowed to leave your room without my say so i mean what if something bad happened to you while you had no guards to protect you i mean you are my only son and not only are you a possible future pharaoh but you my pride and joy and it would sadden me if you where to go before me to the afterlife now is that understood"
Atem "yes father it shall never happen again i will never worry you like this again"
Aknamkanon "Good now Mahad you may return home now hey you two over there escort this one back to his father as for the rest of you get back to your regular duties" he said as he walked towards the door with all 12 soldiers following behind along with Mahad as the door then slowly shut
Atem "well that was an unexpected occurrence and i'm glad he didn't do anything's worse but the problem now is that this little punishment has put a hole in my plans well it's not like it's any bad to my planning but i've lost time that i could have used to gain the trust of my people as my plan was to stay around them to see how they live how they think and how they act in different situations but since i can't do that personally i could use my powers and send some monsters to observe them for me now and what better for the task than a gargoyle
because even if they do find them suspicious in the end their only stone statues well during the day they are

ok its ready i said i then summoned the created monster cards as a bright light escaped the cards as image on the card then leaped out of the card's frame like it was alive as now seven gargoyles stood in front of me each with a different appearance
Now you seven i want you to fly around this city and observe all of its people but don't get caught that is your top priority and be as stealthy as possible and by sunrise i want you to immediately come back to the palace and position your selves in this spots now go i said as all seven of them bowed as they began to flap their wings as they flew off of the balcony of the room into the night sky
Now tomorrow i think is a good time to make one of those Millennium items is it not or maybe i could just make them all at once to speed up the process and i've already have two guaranteed candidates for both the Millennium Eye and the Millennium Ring but then again they might get suspicious of how i attained them and might think that I'm not the one that created them after seeing there powers so i'll wait till i'm 15
