Chapter 59: Banquet

Calliope facepalmed herself for her stupidity. As she was about to bend down to wear her heels, he held her hand and murmured, "Let me. You may trip over your dress."

"Oh, "Calliope realized that what he was saying was absolutely right. She had tripped over like this many times in the past. In front of him, she wouldn't like to make a fool out of herself. 

Callum bent down on his knees as held her heel in his hand and helped her wear her shoes while she was holding his shoulders to maintain her balance. 

She was afraid that if she didn't hold him, she would fall. Only he would help her not to fall. 

Calliope stood up after tying the strap of her heels. 

"Thank you, Callum, "Calliope said with a smile. Her eyes were twinkling with happiness. 

"You are welcome, Cali, "Callum said, staring at her gorgeous face.

"Are you not going to drive?" Calliope asked when the chauffeur opened the car door for her.
