Chapter 15: Hang Onto It, Haruka
"We made it." Tsuki relieved as she breathed heavily and sat on the ground while her hands were still dripping out alot of blood
I lowered myself and inspected her wound immediately "Your dripping out too much! Can't we do something about it?"
"Sorry. I blacked out at the sight of that monster. I didn't expect to encounter someone of that league so early and so didn't have my guard up." Clawz bowed down and apologized sincerely
"Not your fault. Even we didn't expect to encounter someone like him nor were we even informed about his arrival. I'm sorry for almost getting both of you killed." Tsuki apologized to us as we worried more about her injuries due to our mistakes
"Now then, first things first. about your hands.. We'll have to find a way outside to seek help or.." I looked down onto my arm and saw the cloth her brother attached onto me and thought of ripping it off to call him in this instance
Tsuki instantly got up and kicked me down onto the ground "Don't even think about it. He will kill the both of you thinking you both did this to me."
"Ow. Yeah yeah, alright. But what do we do now? Plus, where even are we?" I questioned her as she sighed at my ridiculous decision
"We're currently inside the Voidal Shaft of Universe 370. We will all be safe here but I will have to leave to Universe 3 to inform the council about this and to come back with more strength. Also don't worry about my injuries, they'll regenerate once I switch back to her." Tsuki said and started walking away
"Wait! What will we both be doing here then?" I questioned
"Don't worry, Clawz will take care and I will just need about 40 minutes to return. The Void is also really safe here, we'll meet again soon then" Tsuki instantly teleported off leaving us both in a empty dark void
"Anyways, do you know who that weird guy was?" I asked Clawz
Clawz looked back towards me as he started thinking about it aswell "Considering General Tsuki's arms got dislodged so quickly like plucking out a petal from a flower, the person must be a [Transcendent] but I don't know, since he didn't reveal his prowess yet."
"And why did he go after us out of everyone there?" I asked with a riddled face
"I really don't know about that either. All I can say, is that they're up to no good and we should have our guards up every moment from now." Clawz sighed as he got back up on his feet
a weird noise started buzzing our ears as Clawz got alerted and took his stance
random portals began opening around the void we were in and I instantly got up and tried recalling my skull, but couldn't
"Whats happening now." I said while not letting my guard down
I turned around and saw Clawz being sucked in a portal underneath him "DONT DIE, UNIVERSE 393!" he screamed before he got sucked inside the portal as it closed immediately after he got sucked in
my wrist began getting itchy and leaked out elemental energy again as a portal formed right under me and sucked me in as I tried holding onto the surface "IM JUST A DEPRESSED KID WHOS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THEIR HOMEWORK NOW, WHY IS THIS EVEN HAPPENING!" I yelled as I fell down and the portal closed itself
"Ow.. my head hurts from that fall." I said to myself as I woke up seeing the sky dim lit and the surroundings around me reek of a terrible stench
I instantly pulled myself up and glanced around in horror "What the f*ck even is that."
