Chapter 17: Reunion
"Man this planet sure is getting boring.." I walked around the dead corpses of the merciless creatures scattered all over the ground with another kings skull in my hand
I saw a lodge and sat down on it while suddenly thinking of all the things I've done so far "Lets see here... I've killed more than 140 of these king crawler things, about 10 of the lord species and millions of the other normal ones.. this planet sure does look like it's getting better everyday due to no mass killing and the disruption of the food chain."
"Well, I still can't forget about Tsuki and Clawz, it's been 3 years since that incident happened.. how old am I? oh yeah, I'm 20. Time sure moved quickly here.. I still wonder what they're doing and how come noone has reached towards me yet, no matter how far I try looking in here, I only see darkness and no other planet or even a star nearby."
I took a steady breath with a smile and didn't worry about anything, got up on my feet and threw away the kings skull on the ground and kept wandering about to find something new and entertaining to do
"Oh my, I expected to see you dead by now.. looks like I really do have something to worry about darling.." a voice whispered around my ears from behind me
"?!" I wasted no time thinking and instantly swinged my leg back but noticed nothing there and so stayed at the same spot without moving even a little trying to spot another source of energy in the surroundings except mine
"Show yourself now before I have no choice but to kill you." I threatened to the person as they were no where to be found
the voice didn't reply back and the air went silent as the whole atmosphere quiets up instantly
"You f**king scaredy cat just show yourself, scared of getting yourself beaten to a pulp by a [Overlord], huh?!" I bluffed as I suspected the person to ambush me right the moment I dropped my guard down
"a Overlord huh, I wonder about that."
the voice ran along my ears again from my behind and my whole body stunned still and my mind went completely blank in seconds just by the ominous aura being released behind me
"Well that's disappointing, I expected you to be atleast strong enough to turn around, Mr. Overlord.."
I heard a snap behind my back as a portal opened under me as I was about to fall down on top of a tall building surrounded by beautiful plains and a purple sky
"Alright, focus your breath and.."
I aimed my legs downwards mid air and prepared to crash land on my feet while enveloping them in voidal energy again
"So what was the name of that kid who's the vessel of that bloodlust deity?" the council head asked Tsuki
"Haruka.." Tsuki said as she looked down and her eyes widened up again as if she felt something about to crash down onto the ground
I fell down on the ground in the middle of all the deity-looking people that immediately pointed their weapons towards me, sitting around me
"Haruka?" Tsuki got confused due to my sudden appearance
"Oh, it's the Haruka kid. That skull still gives us all chills down our spine, hah.." one of the council members said with relief
Tsuki began thinking to herself. Wait, how is he even here in the first place.. Don't tell me he just developed teleportation in these 12 minutes I was gone for and even mastered it to have come this far to Universe 7...Tsuki got shocked as she saw immeasurable talent in Haruka already
"What are you doing here and how did you get here in just 12 minutes.."
"What do you mean, 12 minutes it's been 3 years. Well, it's nice to meet you after 3 years anyways." I smiled as I scratched my head
"Tsuki, don't tell me you stalled 3 years and had fun on your own while leaving these kids in misery and came here just now after all that." a council member got furious about tsuki and questioned her
"Firstly, the injuries on my arms are still not old and the destruction of Universe 367 just occurred. There's no way it's been 3 years in any of the timelines in any world." Tsuki got mad over the accusation and glared down on me
the council head got up as the council fell silent due to the mystery of what's happening "If it's a matter revolving Silver, I can only assume "she" did this as out of everyone Haruka got transported after the destruction of Universe 367 which happened in seconds without any warning nor notice."
"Whats the meaning of this! We can't sit silent like this and do nothing about it!" Tsuki argued with the councils head
"I agree, this is not what her job is supposed to be but we simply can't do anything against her will, unless Cosmos or Tensén go warn her on their own." the council head nodded to her as everyone listened quietly
Tsuki's attention goes to my wrist again "There's no way you survived that realm.."
"Huh? What do you mean?" I questioned as my eyes were straining due to seeing so much light after 3 years of staying at a colorless dull world
Tsuki asked the council members to end the session and went outside with her hands still cut completely off, asking me to come with her
"This is just the 2nd time we've met but I still don't get why that woman picked you out of everyone to accompany her to beat the Otsuki, you barely have control over that guy's soul. a failed vessel.." tsuki sighed as she kept walking down the hallway amidst the pretty flowers blooming and falling down onto the ground everywhere
"I too don't get it, there's no reason for her to have picked someone like me with her and even appointed me as the head of the operation." I chuckled as my heartbeated stronger after hearing Tsuki say harsh things about me
"Well then, I won't break my promise with her this time as my arms are completely gone making me useless." Tsuki stopped and closed her eyes, vanishing out of the area in light speed
"Not this again.." I sighed as I looked afront thinking tsuki would appear infront of me again
"Hello there." Tsuki patted my shoulders from behind as her appearance changed again
"HEY, YOU WERE JUST HERE JUST NOW!" I got surprised as she appeared suddenly behind me "Well, I noticed your clothes change to a white theme when your in this form and turn black when your in your Yang form! wait, your arms are back again already too and your chest is a little smaller than before..."
Tsuki froze as she stared daggers onto my eyes as I tried backing off
"Hey... We can talk about this." I backed off slowly while keeping my eyes on her
"I think its time for the head of the squad's head to be cut off...." Tsuki glared at me and began walking towards me slowly
"OH GOD! RUN!" I instantly started running away in terror
"YOU SON A B*TCH!" Tsuki blitz towards me and kept chasing me
"HEY WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT FROM?!?!"
"I DIDNT STAY IN THAT STUPID PLANET FOR 14 YEARS AND LEARNT NOTHING ABOUT ITS EVIL TONGUE YOU IDIOT!" Tsuki caught up to me and pinned me down onto the ground and took my skull off my head
she placed her palm over my forehead and began calculating my power level "What have you been doing those past 3 years.. this much in 3 years is tremendous progress, Haruka.." Tsuki said as she got shocked by the power level that arose high after all that killing and almost destroying the planet itself accidentally before
"I just killed some creepy looking monsters that caused a planet to almost end up in mass cannibalism due to no other species except them remaining." I said proudly as I managed to do all that at the age of when I'm supposed to be doing chores and doing alot of homework
"Well well, that explains alot about the theory of you being in that realm also, it seems like your wrist is starting to get much better and comfortable from you repeatedly using it so often it seems like, but your Suiryū sector in your heart is still trying to regain all the lost Suiryū you lost when you went berserk against Tensén.." Tsuki got up and cracked her knuckles
"Oh yeah about Clawz, hes stuck in universe 393. We should hurry up towards him." I got up as well and stretched myself
"Lets get going then." tsuki placed her hand over my head and teleported both of us instantly off towards Universe 393
