Chapter 2: Birth of The Child of Destiny
In a certain place, at a certain time, a young baby girl opens her eye. She looks at the world for the first time, or that's what everyone thinks. The girl however knew she had just woken up from a long dreamless sleep, yet she didn't have any memory of who she was or what she looks like previously. She looks at her surroundings and observes the unfamiliar room. 'Where is this' she asked herself. Then, someone lifts her easily. But the girl did not panic and stayed calm. She feels the person who lifts her do something to her, but she didn't feel anything. Weird, she thought herself. She keeps asking, what exactly did the person want to do?. Then she feels a tickle around her bottom. She can't help herself but laugh at the tickle. Upon hearing her laugh, the person who lifts her puts her down on the bed, on the sides of a giant blonde woman, or at least she thought of the woman as a giant. But then she got a glimpse of her tiny arm, that's when she realized that she is a baby. The woman probably her mother. 'Why didn't I panic when I just turn into a baby' She asks herself this question. As if it was only natural, she just stays calm.
"Emilia"
She then hears the woman... her mother mumbling a word 'Emilia'. Her mother then repeats it several times, before adding a foreign word to her ear. 'Emilia.. is that my name' thought the baby girl to herself, before she fell asleep.

A moment of time had passed, the baby girl wakes up. Upon waking up, she sees a brown hair, little girl. The little girl touched the baby's cheek while smiling happily. The baby, Emilia assumes the little girl is probably her sister. Behind the brown hair little girl, standing a maid with black hair shoulder length. The maid just stood there with her eye closed. But even she seemingly never open her eye, she acts as she can see everything. 'How is that woman able to see things without opening her eye?' Thought Emilia. Then she realized something. 'Also, how am I able to see a thing so clearly?'.
The maid, Viani sees the girl who behaves strangely from the moment she came to this world. This is the baby that the deity said to hold great destiny. What kinda destiny is to be exact? Viani didn't know. Maybe the baby's strange behavior because she holds great destiny? Who knows. But certainly, Viani would not believe the baby to be ordinary either. Viani remembers the deity who said the baby is born with divine power. Curious if the baby indeed holds divine power, Viani opens her eyes.
Emilia who is about to fall asleep suddenly feels something. She didn't know what is it, but she feels danger approaching. Then her eye landed on the maid behind the little girl. What greets her is a pair of terrifying glowing red eyes. It's as if she's looking at the abyss. Fear, for the first time she feels fear. But she can't do anything, she is just a baby. And what baby do when a discomfort feeling appears? cry. Emilia did not hold back and cried loudly, everyone was startled when they hear it.
Suddenly, a man with brown hair stormed into the room along with some butler and some maids. A blonde woman who just soundly sleeping beside the baby suddenly wakes up, alerted by the crying baby. Viani, who knows exactly why the baby cries quickly close her eye again. Their reaction to a crying baby is a bit exaggerated in Viani's opinion. But then again, the baby that is crying is the same baby that laughs when her bottom gets hit after just being born. Although Viani found it strange, for some reason, the residence treats it like normal for the newborn daughter of the strongest Valkyrie and Archmage to react like that.
All the people that storm into the room wonder why baby Emilia cry. The blonde woman, Natalia also wonders why her baby suddenly crying. And guess who they see near the baby? the brown hair little girl.
"Tilea!! what did you do to your little sister to make her cry that loud?!." Said the brown hair man, Louis. The Duke of Lorena.
"Fa..father... I don't...do anything. I just pinch her cheek a..and.. and that's all." Said the three-year-old Tilea.
"Why did you pinch her cheek when you know she is a newborn!!.." Louis clearly enraged by what his eldest daughter does.
Tilea then cries upon being shouted at by her father.
"Honey, Calm down... don't scold Tilea that hard. She's still a child. Also..." Natalia then picks Emilia up and breastfeeds her.
When Emilia heard the beating heart of her mother. She suddenly feels a pleasant feeling. She began to calm down and Emilia then stops crying.
"See.. is not Tilea's fault. Emilia is just hungry." Said Natalia, with a sweet smile on her face.

Two years have passed since the birth of Duke Louis Lorena's second daughter. The two-year-old Emilia already understood how to behave properly. Emilia doesn't really like to play like other children in her age, she really likes reading books in the library. Right, reading. At the age of two years old she was already able to read. Her character is the exact opposite of her sister, Tilea Lorena, who turns five years old this year. Tilea hates books or to be exact has a hard time reading them. Every time her tutor handed a book to read, she always hides the book and says she lost it. She really likes to play a lot and practice swordsmanship with her mother.
You may ask, how is a two-year-old already able to read a book?. It is all thanks to Emilia's personal maidservant who insists to let Emilia learn to read at the age one-year-old. The idea seems ridiculous, but somehow Viani can convince The Duke. Who would think Emilia is able to learn that quickly and already able to read a book fluently?. The child seems to be a prodigy. Every day Emilia read a book in the library. Emilia sometimes asks Viani a few questions if there is a thing she didn't understand.
One day, in the middle of reading a book, Emilia suddenly closed the book. Viani thought Emilia would ask her another question.
"Viani" Her cute voice called Viani's name.
"Yes, Young miss?."
"Can you hand me a new book to read?." Said Emilia while handing the book in her hand to Viani.
"What kind of book would young miss like to read?."
"A book... about.. magic!!"
Viani frown upon hearing what Emilia just said.
"I must apologize young miss.. but did I hear it wrong, or you just say a book about magic?."
"Yes, a book about magic!." says Emilia with so much enthusiasm.
"Young miss, I must apologize once again. I can't let you read a book about magic, is still too early for you."
"But... but I... I just want to read it. It not like once I read a book about magic, I would be able to use magic right?."
'If an ordinary child says that to me, I may believe it. But Emilia is far from the definition of ordinary.' said Viani to herself.
"The answer is still 'no' young miss." Said Viani.
Emilia then sulked while saying " Hmph... FINE!.. I understand!. I'll just ask daddy that you disobey me."
Emilia then ran out of the library to her father's room. Viani just facepalming knowing what was about to happen.
