Chapter 45: Entrance Ceremony 3
Lenneza kept her calm along with Yula, they talked for a bit to refresh themselves. The apple juice and some grape juices were tasty enough to soothe their appetite.
"Walter Oreon Felmis and Abigail Oreon Felmis have arrived!"
Yula and Lenneza's heads turned towards the entrance to the hall, Walter, that name is over-familiar. A man they once loved, and never will again.
Their eyes fell on this pair once again, the reason being, a year ago. The Genius of the century adopted the young man along with his sister. Now the noble children here don't know why this one has been chosen, even though the Baron, Cain, could've adopted someone better.
And now, within this hall, they would like to gouge this young man, a victim of someone's bullying. Lenneza and Yula decided to ignore this, both by now knowing that being involved with the person would do them no good.
"He doesn't seem any different than any common peasant, is he at least smart?" one whispered.
"Maybe, or else the great Cain wouldn't adopt him nor his peasant sister."
Here, Walter had no power, only at the limit test would they see his power. That's why Walter only gritted his teeth.

"Mm… man why is it so cold?"
Leonard tussled around his bed, he already changed clothes. He then decided to stand up.
He checked his watch just to see that it was 8:30 pm, the entrance ceremony is possibly still up because the time for noble children to build their circles.
Leonard just sighed and went for civilian clothing, not too frugal, but not too luxurious, just stylish. And walked to the dorm garden. A place to relax by all means.
He sat down near the fountain he was about to relax and take all the greenery around him as a place to calm his mind.

He randomly swiped his hand, ahh… peace.

He swiped his hand again. He didn't want to do anything that the system had him do. He's still in denial that there's a limited time when the system fixes itself. He could just sigh.
Leonard doesn't want to deal with the system now, he was truly satisfied and would want to live the life, the second chance he was given with.
However, The demon Lord is dead. He did not need to act and there are no more ways to deal with the system the moment it fixes itself it will latch itself onto him.
Leonard pushed this problem to the back of his head. With another sigh, he opened the window menu.
[Mission: Stop the Zurtin Brites from planting all the Bombs.
The Zurtin Brites have acted earlier than intended, Chaos would befall the noble children of the Freya academy. Only YOU could stop this and correct the course of the story.
Difficulty: B+
Reward: 2000 Points.
Penalty: Death of Lenneza. ]
Leonard left the dorms faster than he entered.

Walter walked into the halls, he looked around him and silently chuckled, 'These are the noble children of the Empire? How weak.' he thought.
Abigail walked in with a curious gaze, her eyes wandering around the area as if she was excited to meet a person not to be involved in the event.
"Your eyes caught onto something?" Walter asked
Abigail shook her head, her eyes stopped when she looked at Lenneza and Yula who were chatting with each other, then her eyes became happy for a moment then stopped as if remembering something.
Walter followed her gaze just to be stunned at Lenneza and Yula's beauty. He then thought to himself 'These are the girls of the Empire? Got to give them credit.'
"Brother, I'll go now. Enjoy yourself!" Abigail Chirped.
"Enjoy yourself as well," Walter smirked.
Out of every single noble child in here couldn't help but look at Walter and Abigail, these two are very eye-catching. Especially Abigail, who already caught the ire of a few noble children.
Walter snorted as he went to the food and beverages. Taking some apple juice as it's a refreshing drink. His attitude, however, managed to tick some noble children. The way he walked to the food and beverages just made him look arrogant.
Those noble kids would always find a fault in you.
"How unruly, not even greeting a higher noble in front of him, he must've not been educated as he was a commoner."
Sneering and scoffing were heard as they tried to mock and provoke Walter, but then, Walter doesn't seem to care that much. The ridicule was very common where he came from, and entertaining people like these fools won't do him any good.
"Hah, I bet in the Power Test most of you will fail."
Walter sneers, his power would be shown and they will be in awe, that he'll make sure.
The entrance ceremony came through even though animosity was in the air, the principal once again came into the hall with an announcement.
Stepping onto the small podium prepared he opened his mouth for the speech. But before he could utter another word the door towards the hall opened.
"Fuck!"
Leonard came drenched in sweat and undignified that it surprised everyone, Charles who was near the entrance laughed at Leonard.
"Hahaha! What the fuck kind of display is tha—"
Leonard didn't care, he ran towards Yula and Lenneza and jumped towards the wall. He wore white gloves and his face was covered in black and white paint.
They felt that his entire body was covered in cuts as well, when he lunged into the wall he gathered his mana and created a barrier.
Just before an explosion completely erupted in the room, dust filled the hall and screams of anguish were heard.
Clouds of dust enveloped the room, the noble children gathered their mana and protected themselves even though it was quite late.
"Boss! The bomb failed to take a lot of them!"
"It doesn't matter, that's why we're here. Pick whatever you can."
Men in gas masks and green suits came in from the bomb site, they have a logo of a coin inside a circle sliced in half. They have swords in their hands ready to kill.
One lunged at a boy, seemingly defenceless after being stunned by the explosion, ready to slash his sword, once he got in range. His sword came down only to be welcomed by another sword.
"Hah, Not on my watch."
