When Harry and Tonks return to Tonks residence, he is surprised to see the decoration for his birthday. It is his first birthday party which makes him cry with happiness. When they saw him cry, Andromeda hug me tightly as she is trying to make his emotion calm down.
After that, they all give Harry a gift. Andromeda give him books related to Wizarding houses which know all the history and tradition of the wizarding world. Ted gives him pair of magical contact lenses which he is happy about as now he doesn't have to wear glasses anymore. Remus gives him a wand holster which helps him to withdraw the wand on his hand with lightning speed.
Lastly, Sirius gives him an earring. Earing has lightning bold attached to it. When Andromeda saw it, she yelled at him for giving this type of gift to him as he is still underage and should not indulge in this kind of thing. She only calm down when she learned that they are not required him to pierce his ear as they are magically attached.
After an hour of chit-chat, Harry pick all the letters he got from his birthday and started writing replies to them. He received letters from Hermione, Neville, Susan, Hannah, Weasleys, and Greengrass sisters.
Harry is shocked when he sees the letter from the Greengrass sisters as he never met them. After meeting with Susan and Hannah today he learns that he wants more friends besides Ron and Hermione.
When he finishes replying to the letter and started to go towards his bedroom to sleep. He feels a small peck on his cheeks by Tonks.
"It's my birthday present for you."
He saw Tonks's face is completely red and then walk towards her room as fast as she can. While he is stunned with his hand on the place she kissed him.

He was in his room and he get a letter from Hermione.
Hello Harry,
I am in France with my parents for a vacation. It is very enjoyable. I am back in 3 days and I hope we can see each other before Hogwarts starts as I have many questions I want to ask.

Harry thinks that he should invite her and others to spend some time. He also has to tell her about all these houses.
After thinking about it for some time, he decided that he is going to invite all of his friends to his house for staying until Hogwarts starts so they can also prepare themselves against Dumbledore or any other threats.

Harry, Tonks family, Remus, and Sirius are shifting to Black Manor. Andromeda didn't want to go to Black Manor but Sirius convinced her as it is the safest place for them to stay because of wards that protect the manor from any threats.
It takes them over a week to prepare everything and he also gets permission to invite his friends to stay with him. He sends letters to Hermione, Neville, Susan, Hannah, and Greengrass's sister. He wants to invite Weasley but they are on the vacation and are unable to come.
He get a positive reply to all the letters and he was happy to spend time with Hermione and is going to make new friends.
For the whole week, Tonks is not mentioning the kiss but she avoids making eye contact with him.
"Is everything ready pup?"
Sirius asked him. He and Remus agreed to teach them for which Harry is very happy that he can now learn more spells.
"Everything is fine, they are going to be here in an hour. But I have to go and bring Hermione here."
"So go and get ready, we are going there to pick her up."
After that Sirius tells Andromeda that they are going to pick Hermione and they then went to the muggle England in Sirius's car, which he buys as it is good to travel in muggle England.
