"Damned it." He cursed and his eyes turned red.

He reached out for his husband but his hands were shaking so badly he could barely catch him.

"Don't worry, I am fine." Yu Nianzhen said.

However, his face was paler than before and his movements were sluggish.

"Brother Yu, how are you?" Xuan Ke called urgently.

His staff was already in hand and he blocked an attack that was hurtling toward the three.

"Let's leave this place." Yu Nianzhen said and urged the other two to move along.

"It won't be too late to avenge ourselves later." He continued.
