The next day in college when Jin Yong saw Nam Joon Woo walking opposite to him, he lost it. He did not care that Ahn Se Na was there next to him.
With full rage Jin Yong yelled at Nam Joon Woo "Stay away from her asshole" and pushed him with so much force that Nam Joon Woo wasn't expecting the attack and fell on the ground.
Seeing Jin Yong all worked up, Nam Joon Woo smirked at him, "I won't"
Jin Yong held Nam Joon Woo by his collar and pulled him up, "Don't you dare play with her"
But Nam Joon Woo was enjoying this new version of Jin Yong completely riled up, "That's rich coming from you. You rejected her already. Stopping poking your nose into other people's lives"
Jin Yong was always calm and collected and never lost his temper at any time. So slowly one by one the students had stopped walking and was watching their fight.
Jin Yong almost spat on his face, "You don't deserve her"
The smile never left Nam Joon Woo's face, "But she thinks otherwise"
"Don't touch what isn't yours"
"She isn't yours the last time I checked. Don't challenge me. I don't mind being with her just to mess with you"
"You're insane"
The argument slowly turned into a fight and they had started punching each other. A crowd had formed around them and seeing the commotion, Hyun Na Bi joined the crowd. She pushed through the crowd and moved to the front to see that Jin Yong and Nam Joon Woo were rolling on the ground.
Hyun Na Bi was watching this from the front row but she took no effort to stop them. Jeong Hyun Joo whispered to her, "Stop them. It looks like they will kill each other."
Hyun Na Bi murmured under her breath, "men…" shook her head and left the place.
Nam Joon Woo Seeing Hyun Na Bi leave, Nam Joon Woo ran behind her leaving behind the fight. Some people were holding back Jin Yong but Nam Joon Woo did not bother to check. He had had his fun with Jin Yong.
"Na Bi wait…"
Hyun Na Bi did not wait and she continued walking. She hadn't expected Jin Yong's outburst. He was always the one who remains calm at all situations and she had expected the same in the current scenario. Hyun Na Bi did not want to escalate the issue further. She had seen their faces and it was a mess. Her motherly instincts wanted to treat their wounds but she knew that another fight would start if did that.
At last Nam Joon Woo caught up with her, "Why aren't you asking me why we fought?"
Hyun Na Bi looked at his face. Jin Yong had thrown a few strong punches and different shades were seen through his face.
Hyun Na Bi wanted to smack his head for getting into a fight but she just said, "Not interested"
But Nam Joon Woo did not stop, "Aren't you even curious?"
"No"
"Why?"
"Should I be curious?"
"Ok then about the kiss…"
Hyun Na Bi was quite surprised that he brought up that topic. He was a good kisser and she understood why girls were coming back to him again and again even though he was not interested in starting a relationship. It was nice… but Hyun Na Bi did not put much thought into it. She was not looking for anything more and so was he so she wasn't really feeling awkward with him.
When Hyun Na Bi did not say anything Nam Joon Woo spoke, "I did not kiss you just because he was standing there or just to mess with him"
Hyun Na Bi was trying hard to keep a straight face, "I know"
"He started this and I…"
"Relax… it's just a kiss. It's not a crime to kiss"
"You did not feel the connection?"
"It was a kiss. Don't read between the lines. Was that your first kiss? Why are you getting so excited?"
"You can't deny. There was spark between us"
"Spark? You mean the spark between you and the girl you had one night stand with last night?"
"How did you know?"
Nam Joon Woo's phone was ringing non stop.
"Forgot your drunken text?"
Hyun Na Bi had sent a video last night of him in a club with a girl grinding on him. This was something he sent usually and she was about to show the message to him but he stopped her.
"Damn. Leave that. Answer me"
"You're not someone who would let go of a forest just for a tree. So let's forget about the kiss, spark, connection, whatever… friends?"
Nam Joon Woo did not know why but he had to tell her, "I did not sleep with anyone yesterday"
Hyun Na Bi smiled, "You really don't have to explain to me"
"I'm leaving now. See you later"
Hyun Na Bi stopped him, "Wait… Leave after I apply something on your cuts"
Though initially she did not want to say anything but seeing his face for some time she could see that he had taken a bad hit.
Nam Joon Woo's lips curved into a smile, "This is nothing. I have somewhere I have to be now" and started walking away waving to her.
Hyun Na Bi called out to him "Go to hospital then" but Nam Joon Woo had left.
Jin Yong was waiting for Hyun Na Bi at her dormitory. He knew Hyun Na Bi's timetable and she had just one hour class today and she was free after that. Jin Yong wasn't sure if Hyun Na Bi would come straight to her room but he waited for her.
When Hyun Na Bi returned to her room, she saw a figure sitting at the door. She knelt down to their level to see who it was and that's when Jin Yong lifted his face. His lips were busted and his face did not have as many bruises as Nam Joon Woo but she could see that he had also taken a punch or two.
